Very useful Steve. I am 53 years old a beginner in horse world, this seems difficult and time consuming for me as I don't have much time for the mare I bought.
That is unfortunate. When we buy a horse, we make a commitment to that horse. They need the leadership from and connection with you. If you don't have time for your horse do the horse a favor and re-home her to someone who can fulfill that commitment and has the time required for horse ownership.
