Man, I have been actively searching for the last 3 days, headphone videos. In none of the searches I did did your channel come up. I didn't remember the name, but I did remember the aesthetics and your face. Just now that I enter I see that your latest videos have fewer views than you usually have. I think TH-cam shadow banned you or something like that. I just found you because my cousin reminded me of the name of your channel. For now I'm going to subscribe so I don't miss you again haha.
Thanks for subscribing! I haven't been shadow banned, fortunately. Just a few uncommon videos lately.

Love your vids man ❤❤
Great reivews and comparisons. Rock on! 🤘🏼
Thank you!!
extreme work mate. who ever does this much in depth review anymore? thanks a lot!!
I'm glad you appreciate it!
I've been waiting for this since your ALT WEAR review. Also, great video, Mike.
Haha I love it! Which headphones do you like best?
@@MikeOBrienMedia Headphones are not suited for outdoor use in my opinion: in the summer they become uncomfortable and make you sweat, and you can't use them in the winter (because they are not water resistant). Earphones do not share the same flaws. I'm more into great sound quality (neutral with a slight bass boost) & comfort, with above-average ANC & battery life. Between the contenders, the Sennheiser Accentum and the JBL Live 770NC fit my criteria the most. And between those two, I find the Live 770NC offer more complete package due to the wear detection, and extensive software features.

My day-to-day earbuds are Soundcore Liberty 4NCs but, when travelling, I use Soundcore’s Space Q45s. Would definitely recommend both.
Thanks for the content.
Same but my liberty 4nc left bud doesn't fit me as well as the right one, could be just that i have weird ears. My q35s are good but the nc on the liberty 4nc is wayyy stronger
@@flick4556 My ears need different sized tips (think that’s what they’re called). Just tried the new C30i open earbuds, but I unfortunately couldn’t get them to fit.
@@flick4556Liberty 4 NC just seal poorly and don't fit well. Shame, because they're not bad for the price.
Awesome review! Just got myself a pair of Sony ULT's and they have not dissapointed, first real pair of ANC headphones, even if the sound quality may not be super high tier I really like it after the Find My Equalizer option on the app, makes them sound the way you want to! If aiming for better sound quality you may have to go even higher and try getting the XM5 or the Momentum 4, nonetheless the ULT's are a real solid pair of headphones, I really recommend them.
Awesome comparison, thanks for sharing
Great video and dope list
Thanks!
The Soundcore crushed it on the noisy background mic test! Wow!
Great video, just one thing to take into consideration, the sony ult wear battery is around 50 hours without ANC and 30 hours with the ANC turned on
Hey Mike 👋 i love your videos
Mike what do you think about the build quality of the sony xm5. had a couple of them break on me the hinge is really bad. i think that they should have used the same design used in the xm4 or something better.
Very interesting review. I tried the soundcore space one but returned them because I didn’t notice the anc. Instead I purchase a Bose QC in Costco for $210. I think they worth every penny.
Omg this was exactly what i was looking for. Mike makes the most amazing reviews, when it comes to headphones
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words :)

I actually just picked up the JBLs a few days ago. Debated for a while, but was sold on the price, features, and battery life.
good video came at the right time for me
Nice! Which headphones do you like best?
@@MikeOBrienMedia ive decided on buying xm4's as where i live it is also priced at $199
Which one of these have a better deep bass sound than the old One Odio studio pro50 ?
If you had to choose between the sony wh-720N the jbl 770C and the soundcore space one which would you choose
Should I buy beats studio pro now? I just need small on-ear headphones for my iPhone
No Sony CH 720? I love those thing. They are so light
I was expecting to see edifier wh950nb here. Any reason why, since they should beat a few of these..
how good is the anc on the ult wear and accentum compared to Bose qc45?
I like the casual hey as if we're buddies who we just saw walking down the street in the beginning 😂
I just got the beats solo 4s I really like them only had them for a month no problem gd bass
I just recently was searching for good headphones and my choice was Sony WH-CH720NC. They are a bit older than Ult Wear but are a bit cheaper. I got mine for €90 tho usually they cost 100. Overall, i am incredibly happy with them, they are super comfortable, sound is great and they are pretty light so they don't feel heavy nor overload the head. So if anyone wants good headphones under 100 bux, Sony WH-CH720NC is an amazing choice from my experience.
The $90 - $200 range is so interesting to me. Some are incredible and some are terrible
Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike. Guess what day it is?
It's been a while since anyone asked me that haha
Ok Mike, I like you and your vids for the most part, but I think I'm just over phones and earphones... I mean the cost a bit to do with it, as 1000 for a phone is just a big turn off for me, and if I'm only buying phones to use as a handheld desktop to to do media transfers... ??? I can see talking about best case scenarios, but 200 for any headphones with so much out there seems a bit crazy to me.
I do appreciate which one gives me best sound when I'm listening to music as a focus, but I feel like your time would be better spent on which is best for helmets with Electric Bikes in different situations, and then whats worth the price.
I really appreciated the vid on the bikes, and am looking for one that can hold my weight and which is best for seniors, going to stores, to work, etc., other wise I'm very interestred in what would be best listeniing expeerience when riding as some can be very loud, yet unsafe if noise caceling was used. So a couple years back I ended up with a mic and ear set that goes into a motorcycle helmet, and it would be nice to see some comparisons on those, but I may be losing my hearing lol... so UGH, I say we force the price down... 125.00 should be for the best of the best, and around 75 for those who can want the bells and whistles, but otherwise, I just want to be able to hear the song I'm listening to without a bunch of distortion. and I have plenty of those that coast were almost free from a grab bag.
Oh, I did just start editing and like good head phones sound during that, and voice playback of myself... Thanks
Beats studio pro are my favorite they are cheaper then the solo 4! But I had just bought the Sony ult and I love them too but still the studio pro are my favorite
I Love Sony!!! I'm Using ULT New Wireless Sony Headphone with Extra Bass!!! Also I Interested with JbL & Soundcore too!!! 🤟🏻😃🤟🏻
I've used the JBL 760NC and they broke after 10months of daily usage. I am a little disaappointed in their durability.
So I am kind of unsure about the JBL 770Live. It's kind of expemsive.
However I can agree on all the points you mentioned.
I am also not experienced in many headphones so kind of difficult to choose for me in that price range. I think the bass and anc is most important to me which JBL managed well on my experience so far.
Please do the jabra gen 2 earbuds!!!
Add the Skullcandy Hesh ANC up next
I've just presented my daughter Space One and to be honest they're quite good for 50 bucks I've paid for them and not that worse than my old xm3's
It's incredible what Anker/Soundcore is able to offer at such a low price. Who knows how long it will last, but out of the box, I am impressed
Hey why not the accentum plus ? Would have made more sense in my opinion at $150 ig
Those are $229 on Sennheiser's website. I didn't want to include anything that was temporarily under $200 due to a sale or something.
Edit: but I would love to include those in a future comparison!
I'm sure number 4 (space one) brand is called "Anker" in Europe, am I wrong?
Correct, Anker Soundcore...
@@gavinrussell8891 Thank you!
Yeah Anker is such a big brand, they make sub-brands for categories. Soundcore, Solix, Eufy, etc.
Why ATH M50x BT2 not listed?
I can have Sony ULT for 160 USD. You probably don't know that you can customize ULT1 and ULT2 so it's not so overwhelming.
Which S24 Ultra case is that at 6:23?
I believe that was my Andar S24 Ultra case
If you are looking for a headphone under 100 dollars and you don't care about it being wireless and having noise canceling, buy the Philips shp 9600. It is open-back, and the drivers and sound quality are a lot better than any of these(except the senheisers I think). They have a pretty flat frequency response compared to these, so unlike these, they are not cranking up the bass and treble to the high heavens
I picked the beats studio pro for $179 with apple care included at Costco.
I almost included the Studio Pro in this video
@@MikeOBrienMedia should have. the studio pros are almost always under 200, while the solos are at 130.
Beats studio pro are my favorite they are cheaper then the solo 4
when he was talking about wearing a ring i thought he wanted to announce that he is engaged.
The biggest compromise with the Soundcore will be so they have the same low durability as the older Soundcore headphones that self-destruct over time.
Beats are here only for Apple ecosystem participant, if any of you think that this thing actually recommended in any shape or form, even if you are an Apple user, u just tripping or a blind fanboy, i like the design, but that's about it, so much more cheaper option if you only want on-ear headphones
I Love my solo 4s, I use a Samsung phone and use an iPad so they’re great for switching back and forth. Also I really love the slate blue and battery life.
You want BASS !?!?!? Fat Freq Scarlet Mini IEM is supposed to be the best.... can't wait to confirm that though
What about comfort for people with lenses?
If you must have over ear at this price, just get the Bose QuietComfort SC or SE. They are ex-flagship, but they do everything you need brilliantly at this price. The Solo 4 are uncomfortable and the ULT WEAR sound horrible.
STOP IT DONT DISSRESPECT THE ULT
@@thefab0075 they look good and are really comfortable.
So.... Does the Edifier WH950NB not qualify for this shootout?
Unfortunately there were too many headphones to consider and the video is already over 30 minutes long. If I had more time, I would include those as well as a few others (Earfun, old Sony XM3, maybe some older Bose, etc)

hey honey wishing you well
Where are sony ch720n 😡😡
im so early
Yeah you are. Thanks for watching!

Wow that was instant
This is such a flawed comparison. The methodology seems to lend equal weightage to all metrics, which is franky absurd. How on earth can you think something as trivial as case quality matters anywhere near as much as sound quality when comparing a headphone? Somehow the JBL won this 'comparison' and got your recommendation, and the Sennheiser came last. I've heard both these headphones, and the difference between them is frankly night and day. The JBL sound like cheap earphones when compared to the Sennheiser. I honestly couldnt care less that the JBL won in 'aesthetics' when it sounds like crap. Ridiculous.
That's why I show the score at the end. One viewer may value comfort or price more while another may prioritize sound quality and battery life. You are free to apply your own weighting algorithm to the scores at the end.
cheap audio always sounds terrible... i hated every soundcore item i ever purchased. You music will sound bad for the next year all for the cost of $100. Def couldnt do it.
What soundcore do in their headphones is good tuning, really good tuning, but I think the quality of the drivers make the headphones sound like enclosed on a tin can, I don't know how to explain but is a weird feeling, also, when ANC and Ambient is On or Off the sound is affected by a lot.
I totally agree with you 👍
No no, tear them down and look at the construction and you will understand why they sound hollow. Because they are@@elmaster6207
Its the cheapest of all. And soundcore always sounds best on acoustic eq otherwise very bland on default.
Space one SUCKS. Sounds like it's hollow
Right now beats studio pro cost less then 200$. With that all this list is redundant:(
Yeah the Studio Pro sales fluctuate a lot. I considered including them in this video, but they were a tad over $200 when I was planning the video
The Sony ult wear sound better with ldac on, find my equalizer and ult 1
