    Sorry for the audio issues. I originally recorded on with a Zoom H4 and Rode NTG3b and the recording picked up radio signals. There was some guy talking on a local radio frequency that I had to voice-over. I have never experienced that before, but unfortunately the audio voice-over was necessary.

      To be honest, I was unaware of it. But I had to dubble check because I thought the buzzing was in my room and was the source of the buzzing noise.

    Sadly the sleep earbuds that I own (not Soundcore) only have about a 5 hours battery life. Then it says RECHARGE loudly in my ear and wakes me up. That sort of defeats the purpose of the sleep earbuds.

    I've had several Soundcore earbuds and have really liked all of them, but I've never had earbuds that have fit as well as these. I did not get them for sleep, but got them because they promised to be inobtrusive. Earbuds without bars or stems on them never stay in my ears and a lot are just too large for my small ears. The ones with the stems will fly out as soon as I change my shirt and forgot to remove the earbud first. These don't budge, period. They are SO comfortable!
    I did try the sleep tech and prefer using my Echo to play rainstorm sides, but I think the sleep aspects will be fantastic for the next time I travel on a plane and want to sleep.
    I would love to see more earbuds with this size and shape that included a microphone and ANC, but maybe the size makes that too difficult. This is definitely the perfect size and shape for me and that matters most.

    • @kellymay844
      @kellymay844 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am also thinking about getting this for general usage. Since this is targeted for sleeping, i wonder if it has a downside in audio quality?

    • @ChynnaBlue1
      @ChynnaBlue1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kellymay844 Thw sound quality is not as high other Soundcore earbuds. They also do not have any way to control the volume or pause the audio from the earbuds themselves (no tapping to do X). I mostly use them for audiobooks instead of music and use other earphones for music or to use my phone, as these have no microphone. Even so, I reach for these often because of the fit.

    • @sujimayne
      @sujimayne 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is 100% possible to get 2 mics and ANC in there... but the sheer engineering required to make it fit and the price of components that could fit would make them super expensive.

    I have the A10 version. They do nothing at all to help you sleep. However I EQ them with the wavelet app and you would not believe how warm and bassy they sound. With the tiny form factor and the surprisingly good sound I find myself listening to them on most days. And just so you know my standards, I listen to Sony WH1000 XM5's and various IEM's. Don't knock the sound quality on A10's or 20's until you EQ them, you might be surprised!

    The rain sounds on Soundcore A10 earbuds have been helping me sleep for about the last 3 years. Even though one side has always been quieter than the other (apparently a problem when using with Apple products according to the manufacturer) & the fact that they time out after about 7 hours, they still work great for me. I may give the A20 a go as they seem to have some good improvements. Great reviews, thanks!

    6:30 Don't the A20 have Intelligent Volume Control? My A10 did and I've seen on the app that the A20 support them as well. I haven't tried it with the A20 yet, but it worked just fine with the A20 in lowering the volume based on external noise. The buds do have to be connected to the phone, as the phone mic is used to detect noise levels.

    I've has mine for 4 months now and I'm still using them every night. Two of the downsides you didn't mention are (1) they are clumsy to place properly in the case to recharge in the dark. I know I have to flip them vertically but to get them to seat is still a challenge after 4 months. (2) they won't pair multiple devices like my airpods do. Every time I want to switch between using them with my iPad and iPhone I have to re-pair them. These two issues are nuisances, but they still are comfortable enough that I use them every night.

    I started using the Soundcore A20 in May after developing tinnitus. My first set had a left bud failure after 10 days but soundcore was very easy to work with in getting a new set of buds. Unlike the author, I have found the A20 does sense when I fall asleep and then transitions from Bluetooth to sleep mode once I fall asleep. I have found a plethora of tinnitus masking sounds and music available on TH-cam. It is now 4 months later and I cannot sleep without the A20s. I start with TH-cam Bluetooth on my pad (I read before falling asleep) then let it transition to the gentle sound of rain built into the A20. I also use the alarm and it is perfect. I recommend trying the A20 .

    I did exactly the same switch. I had 3 pairs of bose sleepbuds 2 (they replaced it twice before the guarantee expired) and my last pair lasted 6 months, while the other 2 lasted longer. They still work, but one of the earbud shuts off after 4 hours, which wakes me up (i play the sound the whole night because interruption of the sound wakes me up). Anyway, I found the soundcore but I don'thave the same model as you, I have the previous one I think, and I like them but 1/ they don't last the whole night if you have them in your ears for more than 8 hours (i wake up a lot and thus sleep for a longer period of time) 2/ the smallest bud is too tiny, the one above too big (i use the regular size), so my ears hurt. I still use the bose, I switch buds when I wake up around 4/5 am to finish the night. It helps reduce the pain in my ears. I might give a try to this model though, looks slimmer!

    My a10's stopped working after a year. Only one at first, I did the cleaning as was advised by Soundcore, didn't help. After a while it came back. Eventually it stopped working completely. And after several month the same thing happened to the second one. As far as I know, quite a lot of users faced the same issue as I.

    Got those earbuds today and will test them over the next days. For some reason, the smart volume setting doesnt work for me.
    When I switch sleep mode on, I can see "Smart Volume" pop up for a second, then the app disconnects, because it loses connection, because Bluetooth is turned of in sleep mode....

    These work 4 naps, but if using Bluetooth one of the buds will be less than 5.5 hrs. Varries from pair to pair, but one of them that receives signal will drain significantly faster. I think they're very poor quality, losing connection often.. when my Bose II die, I'll be buying some Ozlos

    I had high hopes for these but unfortunately they don't get a high grade for my needs. They do not block any sound when off, if you're not playing music or sounds then they're useless. When playing music on the sleepbuds I find the lowest volume setting still too loud aka the change in tempo of the music wakes me up. A pair Loops do a much better job of blocking out noise and are much more comfortable and 1/3 of the price. Buy these if you need sounds to sleep but not to block out sounds like someone snoring or street noise.

    hi i have them, I bought them to sleep because any noise can wake me up, I now use them for music during the day, the don't work for sleep like imagine you have to sleep with volume max brown noise to mask eventual noise, no way, earbuds loop are making the job 50 times better, they are 20 Euro

      @jonathanderooij4405 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@KvltKommando I assume they meant Loop Earplugs. I own a pair of Loop Quiets, which definitely help which noise. For me personally this isn't always enough for a good night sleep though, since it just blocks noise (they're regular earplugs, unlike earbuds that can send white noise). They do also sell the Quiet 2 Plus, which blocks more sound and recently released the Loop Dream, specifically made for sleep. They do cost more though: 45 euros.
      Hope this helps!

    Still tiny bit confused-can you set them to switch to silent at some point in the night? Did you say you can just set it to switch off after a few hours? Can it be minutes? My issue with this type of thing has always been the sounds relaxing me but not letting me actually fall deeply asleep. Hmm.

    • @Bungle2010
      @Bungle2010 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you're listening to music you can set it to turn that off and switch over to sleep mode when you fall asleep. Then it will play whatever sounds you have loaded. You set that to turn off after a certain time - shortest is 30 minutes.

    these ear buds will give you chronic ear wax blockages. you need over ears and even then you will get excessive ear wax. if you have hereditary wet ear wax, you should never sleep with anything obsructing your ears. if you put them in right after a shower before bed you will get an ear infection. i dont know how or why these things are advertised to sleep in, they are not healthy for your ears.

      Not even remotely necessary when you’re listening to such consistent sounds like rain or white noise. I use some cheap $5 Buds Live a-likes (only way flatter) I got from China and they completely block out the warthog level snoring and chronic coughing of my roommate, and they don’t even have the extra innate noise dampening effects of having silicon tips plugging up your ear canals since they don’t have any.
