i did not rebuild any land vehicle ... but for sure it should be easier than saltwater parts repair. Most frequently it ends with replacement by part from jetski which was used in freshwater. I would not recommend to by used saltwater jetski unless you have a huge amount of time to work as a mechanic for free but not ride a jetski. I bought it for $550 and was sure that salvage it once it will fail ... but i did not ... after about 1 year of nice riding i start to fix it ... and for sure for the time i spend for repair instead of working, I would be able to buy several same jetskis.
hey Rus i have messaged before about my work on a 93 waverunner 3 i have run into a problem and wondered if you might have a solution. i have 2 93 waverunners 1 with a good haul and bad engine (was sitting in saltwater at some point) and one with a good engine but bad haul. the problem i am having is that the one that sat in saltwater has bound the bolt inside the cling and snapped off. I was wondering if you had any alternatives to cling as i cant seem to find any online anywhere? ------ i appreciate your response and no not just one bolt lol all of them on the hull with cling. i really appreciate the help. your the only youtuber doing a series on the 93 waverunners
1) Done. see the th-cam.com/video/KsZq79qYqrc/w-d-xo.html and read the description. 2) could you copy one more time your question to the cling removal video?: th-cam.com/video/UfTQxCZ8JSI/w-d-xo.html
Fue muy duro. Estaba pensando en rendirme. Mostré solo una idea por video. El proceso fue largo y duro. It was very hard. i was thinkin to give up. I showed only idea by video. The process was long and hard.
try this idea: th-cam.com/video/vWc1mtemZtA/w-d-xo.html but attach the beam to rear and of the trailer and hook up the jet ski to the trailer fwd end. Use helmet and safety glasses. Sprey with WD-40 all shims. Do not hammer the parts. they are very soft. ... even my part did not work from the first time ... i almost gave up to get it out.
RIP those bolts. I noticed you started using a punch on bolts after that. Good call
how is rebuilding a jet ski different from an ATV or dirtbike. are things just harder to get to? thinking about rebuilding one
