    I love seeing that old equipment put back in action. Takes me back to when Me and my buddy Tim spent a whole summer watching machines like this build a new road behind his house. May not seem like it but what Chris has done with these old machines is pretty green. It takes a whole lot of mining and energy to build big machines like that.

  • @samuelchappell7280
    @samuelchappell7280 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Chris needs to put some more weight on the back end of that dozer. Would most likely give the dozer some more traction. Also, a plow on the back end of the dozer would really tear that packed dirt up something fierce. Make it easier to work with as well as dig up more roots that Chris missed when stumping.

    20,000 yards?! Wow, that's a lot of dirt to move around for sure. And that road bed was solid - it wasn't going anywhere to be certain.
    Sure, using a scraper/pan would be great, but probably not practical overall. If you think about the stuff Chris has filmed, I don't recall him doing another job with this kind of quantity of material. If these big jobs were the norm, I'm sure he'd be considering it.
