Captain Jack here. Upon observation, it appeared that all the lockers were not engaged. I watcher Mike (DP) work on his lockers and got all 5 to work, to make all six wheels spin. Enjoy you videos and it reminds on my old dinosaur Cat 225, HD6G AC back in the 60’s. Anxiously waiting for each new pond build video.
Chris has been constantly updating us on how this was all going to happen, but honestly, I couldn’t see it until the very end when he shut down the Bomag and showed where the other part of the dam was coming from and where the replacement fill was coming from and going to. Amazing to me to think that he knew all this before the trees were removed. Outstanding!
So commend ur calm spirit when rain ruins plans for the day. U are a good example for others, and especially for others who work with you! Thank u so much for video! God's blessings and stay safe!!!
I just want to say that I am soooooooo happy you don't put product reviews or sponsored ads in your videos like more and more of the rest of YT is doing. Thank you, and please keep your content and channel just the way it is, because that's what I, and likely most of your subs, subscribed for in the first place.
I agree but if an opportunity arises for Chris to make some extra money or get free products for his years of hard work then I’m all for sponsored videos
Gonna have to do like mike did and see what's up with the rear lockers on that haul truck doesn't look they were working at all . BTW those were some Bealy good Drone shots
Does this model not have two, four or six wheel locking system on it if so only the four locking might have been selected as I remember in one vid Chris had all six engaged?
Barney looked like it did not have all six wheels locked to run. A little rain helps keep the dust down, heavy rain is a mud maker. Yes, the Owner needs soil that will grow good weeds so the roots will stabilize the slope of the pond edge.
I agree with Rob, that rear axle was not driving at all...hope it was just mis-selection and not like the problem that Dirt Perfect had with his truck.
This is a decent sized project! The drone shots are fantastic, they help give a real scale to the job (and look pretty awesome too). I could sit and watch you work your magic on the machine all day. I've had a play on a few, there is something about the power of them that is fascinating. Great stuff!
Love the aerials. But could you scratch a line with some of your equipment to show us where the pond will extend to? Maybe put a root rake on the dozer and throw a line around so that we can tell from the drone.
@@ryanhoward1013 thank you. I enjoyed every minute of working with Chris . He is a good person to work for . I think this is the fifth project I have helped him on . And I also worked for John his uncle on a project for a couple days
59 minutes and 6 plus K likes makes it clear how fascinating Chris's vids are. I've been waiting for the newest installment of the Bealy Good pond build and managed to miss the notification pop up I guess. Looks like Chris was on the rainy day struggle bus that day.
I was passing a 220 class machine for the last few days and it really does surprise you when seeing the size of the buckets they have, you forget it when just watching them on YT.
Chris I don't have words enough to say how proud I am of you to take your younger brother under your wind and teach him the trade of construction and work for you. I bet he looks up to you and loves you and appreciate you letting work with you. Chris you are a great man he probably thinks of you as you did your grandpa. Thank you Chris for being a great person and inspiration to your younger brother. God bless you Chris and be careful and safe
I believe if i recall i said it wasn't going to rain til you started digging that pond. Thank's for another great video Chris, see you on the next one✌
I started watching, and subscribed to, your channel back when you and Timmy built a large pond may 3, 4 5 years ago...? I can't remember but it was 5 or 7 acres or so, anyhow it's nice to watch another big pond job! Thanks for taking the time to produce the videos.
Chris it is truly amazing to see you do the work into, developing a pond with just you knowledge in your mind. When the pond project started after the tree removal and stumping was completed. I was wondering what it was going to look like. Now after only two days over damn building we have the basic to vision what it is going to look like when completed. Chris it is a pleasure to watch your videos to see how you plan to complete the project with no paper plans to go by. Chris with Jeff doing the drone shot videos it has just gotten better. Thank you for my evening television entertainment.
Watching the drone footage, It's impressive how much more the fully loaded haul truck compacts the clay even after the sheep's foot compactor has been over the area. Would it not be advantageous if the fully loaded haul truck each time, reversed to the end of the lift then drove back to the area which it's required to dump its load. The extra compaction for no more than a further minutes driving would be very beneficial. Fascinating to see the actual logistics of creating a pond dam. As always Massive Respect from Aotearoa, New Zealand 😀👍💙💛
Love the equipment lineup.... looking good. Defo think you should have a chat with DP on the truck didn't look like 6 wheel lock was working. Pond is looking good and defo looks to be holding water. Have a good one!

Great video Chris! Enjoy watching you guys work. "A man with a plan" keeping to your slogan there, it's so nice to have your explanation of what you're doing and your vision of what the plan is. Pretty big project that is coming together. Remember several years back you did a large pond dam like this. Thanks for sharing, makes my day.....
Typically, under 10 acres is a pond but it’s all in the eyes of who owns it …really. A man that is “all hat, and no cattle” might call his 2 acre pond a lake.

Awesome job as usual Chris ! Looks like you,ve found a great guy in Robert. He obviously knows what and how you expect from him to do. A rarity in these days ! Cheers !

Just love watching this transformation take place,I am aware of what you are capable of ,can’t wait to see the finish pond but I absolutely love seeing the pond take shape one dirt load at a time.thank you for sharing 👍🏾
I would love to know how you price a job like this is it a sliding scale or just hours when it’s all over. It blows my mind how much something like this must cost in my area you would probably be in the six figures
Looks like the rear locker isn't working. Mike at Dirt Perfect has just rebuilt his, and you may want to make a fuse cover for the roller, just an old plastic container fixed over the top. You are a wizard on the excavator, liking the video's a lot, from a wet and miserable Western Australian winters day.
Chris . Thank You for the video's. Starting to see how the pound will set, were the dam set's and how you are building this MEGA pond 5 acres is good sized pond. Please Take Care of your self and be careful around all equipment as it can put the hurt on you. 😁👍😎

Looks just like my homesite when I cleared it. Lots a white oaks, red oaks, loblolly pine, hickory and sweet gum trees. Same with the dirt, too. About a foot to two feet of topsoil, about eight to ten feet of that red clay, then a gravel layer. Thanks for taking us along. Hello from Northeast Texas!
Be careful Chris I heard the equipment talking to each other yesterday. They might be planning something. Might explain why the Volvo and Komatsu broke down at the same time.
Lots of dirt to be moved. Clay to hold the dam, and topsoil to grow grass. It is beginning to come together. A 5 acre pond is a large and expensive project.
What would be cool is an Aerial shot with an overlay of the shape of the pond so us novices can see your vision. Great work Chris
