That Steiger is a thing of beauty.... We call that a "Safari Cab"...Give it a bath and take it tractor pulling... The ST-325 has a 14.6 litre Caterpillar 3406 DIT turbocharged engine with 325 horsepower. This video was worth it just for that green goddess 💯❤
The Steiger brings back some great memories of sitting in the car park queue for the Royal Show at Stoneleigh Park ( around 81 / 82 as I was still at school) and Steiger had 3 tractors working in a field alongside the main road, what a great promotion stunt 👍👍😎
When on harvest in America in late 90’s the farm we cut on had a Steiger Tiger, the following year he traded it for a quad track . Hope you had a good evening
The Steiger is Euclid Green..Same as the Earthmover gear.. Douglass Steiger thought that bright color would make their tractor distinctive from other farm equipment.
More buildings and bridges are being made of steel that is unprotected. Once the rust forms it's then protective to the steel beneath. So they calculate what the strength / width etc. needs to be after the rust forms then it needs no further maintenance in its life. It's the same reason you will see more bridges etc. that aren't painted, it's a lower cost and more eco solution.
Wow the Stiger tractor is sooo cool!! There’s a rebuilt Ford FW60 still earning her keep in 🇮🇪 it’s mint!! So that Stiger needs get out and about Olly 🤔🤔
Hi olly nice update just for stieger hope one day we see it in the field was Norfolk he had no orange light flashing Lol been out with the sprayer today, feeling 90%
What a beast is, that Steiger I’ll bet in it’s day. It would be a , serious piece of kit you can tell. The Quadtrac is an exact copy I remember when the bigger Case Tractor had Steiger on the bonnet Hope you have a good night at the FW awards night and I seriously ,hope you get a mention for all the work you do for British Agriculture Going to London will be a nice break for you all hope you have a great time feeling 86% today and Olly brilliant video
Start of your video is how I feel at the moment being at home with a broken leg. Thought it was Wednesday. 😂 I remember co-op farms here in East Yorkshire with some Steiger tractors. We would stand with open mouths at the school playground as one drove by. 70% today. Aiming for 80% tomorrow
100% dropping to 90% as mother demanded the living room was overheated! Sunny intervals and dry. 2 yellow cars, one purple, a Battenburg and an orange lorry.
Ensors & mortons where the first to get artics in the UK both farmed in Warwickshire. Ensors went out to Canada in the early 70s and brought one for there farm in Warwickshire. There is a lot of Artic tractors in Warwickshire .The last artic tractor Ensors had was 600 hp . Also forsyth farms. Near David jones in Warwickshire had ford FW 60 . I have seen it working . He had 10 ford 7810s . You be surprised how many big tractors in Warwickshire here is. .
Great to see the Steiger Olly, drove an FW60 back in 1990 down in Shifnal. Was only for a week but it made a lasting impression. Where is that Stieger based, would love to see it working 😊 Hope it goes well tonight 😊
What I’d like to know is what percentage of Steiger tractors that were sold are still around our family Tiger is still earning it’s keep I think it’s K series engine will definitely see me out and my kids
i don't understand those machinery dealers having such a large stock of machines all standing out in the rain ........be getting rusty time they sell them all
Can’t understand how the British farmers rate the Richard western trailers so highly. Any of them I’ve ever pulled have been horrible. Real wobbly with poor axles. Stewart trailers are ten times the trailer.
You have a beautiful family. Cherish your lovely wife and let her know how you truly care for her, she will remember long after.

Enjoy your time in London, have a nice time at the awards, gives the ladies a chance to dress up and shine.
I thought the Steiger was the fore runner to the Ford FW30.
Have a good time at the awards evening.
FW20- 30 - 40 - 60 were Ford badged Steigers... painted blue
FW 20 = Bearcat FW 30 = Cougar FW 40 = Cougar Fw 60 = Panther
Olly loves looking at equipment yards and fields.
Enjoy the big smoke Olly, Charlotte and Martin
Excellent blog again Olly, that Steiger would look great standing alongside your MTrac. Have a lovely evening in London!😊
Watching this from my hospital bed once more thank you for keeping me entertained ❤
They were the tractor of choice on the big farms in west aus could see them every where
When on harvest in America in late 90’s the farm we cut on had a Steiger Tiger, the following year he traded it for a quad track . Hope you had a good evening
Got a picture of me stood by a new stieger panther at the Wisconsin farm progress show 1982

Kind of funny as I live near highway 403 in Ontario🇨🇦

Great video Olly, I've never seen a Setiger before (What a weapon). I hope you all enjoy the evening at the Grosvenor. 👍.
Takes me back… in 1987 I drove a Steiger Panther 1000 in Australia for a season drilling wheat..
Proper tractor .next farm over fro us had that for land work and the Ford FW with 12 furrows ploughing, And I was running a 6610 Ford at that time 😂
PS: James looks so much like you. None of my sons did so you're fortunate.
Reminds me of when I did two season’s on some ford versatiles. Up in Northumberland
Start of your video is how I feel at the moment being at home with a broken leg. Thought it was Wednesday. 😂

70% today. Aiming for 80% tomorrow
The rusty looking steel is probably a special grade called cor-ten. It gets a light coat of rust and stays like it.
PS like the Steiger😊😊
Great video Olly enjoy your self at the awards
You look tired Olly, enjoy that big London. Stieger looks proper.
Wow the Steiger is a proper beast.
100% dropping to 90% as mother demanded the living room was overheated!
Sunny intervals and dry.
2 yellow cars, one purple, a Battenburg and an orange lorry.
Would have loved to hear a cold start on the Steiger.
I'm sad I know.😂

Need to get that Steiger in the field!
Didn’t Case International buy Steiger and use their designs? 🤔 I think the big Case Tractors even had Steiger badges for a while 👍😎
A train and you got a seat wonders will never cease.
Mortons ran Offchurch Tractors that imported and supplied Steiger tractors the cab was called the Safari cab.
Call in at the new Stockport bus Station and look at the spiral and Bridge that leads to Stockport station
Great to see the Steiger Olly, drove an FW60 back in 1990 down in Shifnal. Was only for a week but it made a lasting impression.
Where is that Stieger based, would love to see it working 😊
Hope it goes well tonight 😊
Think you need to try an get that Steiger at a tractor pull sometime, looks awesome. 87%
Wish Tom P would wash the windows on the handler, i could not work like it. 😆
17:14 great content again
That Steiger reminds me the Big buds.
Rubber changes are hard work and dirty no matter how long you wash them
What I’d like to know is what percentage of Steiger tractors that were sold are still around our family Tiger is still earning it’s keep I think it’s K series engine will definitely see me out and my kids
Graham Edwards catle trailers. Made 2 miles from me at full Sutton.. york
You not a fan of " Core-ten " steel then.
Love the Stieger. Welker farms often refer to the Case Quadtacs as Stiegers.😊
Enjoy the Big Smoke.😊
Hello!
Loved the steiger
I wonder if toms filming the fast and farmerish.
Hope you all have a great night..
There is one of those Stiger “rotting” away in a field near Market Harborough or is it “stored”?
Core10 steel. The rust is the protection
Ford FW is the Steiger in disguise
Morgan wanted to miss the traffic in Preston with the early start?
Tractor looks a bit like walkers big bud
St Martins college, also the place the Sex Pistols played their first gig. ( your older audience have probably heard of them 😂)
i don't understand those machinery dealers having such a large stock of machines all standing out in the rain ........be getting rusty time they sell them all
Is it Frank Cooper at Newton that Olly? 6:01
Yes 👍
@@janicecooper5161 legendary men, Frank and Bob…. First person ever to let me driven a 6900 JD, probably c. 2003/4 😍 Forever grateful
Good video 👍 80% what a trailer 24 ton.
The Quadtrac would look like a Steiger, Case bought Steiger 🤦♂️.
The Steiger needs to be in your yard and used properly 👍🏽
Can’t understand how the British farmers rate the Richard western trailers so highly. Any of them I’ve ever pulled have been horrible. Real wobbly with poor axles. Stewart trailers are ten times the trailer.
👀🙄🐾👍
Sorry Martin it's not the camera😂
We're not Italian ! 😊
Go get yourself over to welker farms inc Ollie BOG BUD TRACTORS
