13 months for me and it`s sheer craziness. I have never cared about live shows, I have never been aware of albums` premieres and this year because of these three adorable witches I was at my first rock concert, first rock festival and I counted days for KMF premiere (my copy was imported from overseas)... What They have done to me is a little bit scary, but I`ve never been happier when it comes to music. TW rules. :)
There were 8000 of us at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City (CDMX aka Cuidad de Mexico is often used as an abbreviation for Mexico City) to see this show. Since this is your first time with The Warning let me extend The Warning Army's welcome to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With four studio albums, several live concert videos, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. They were independent for the first two albums (Kickstarter and crowd-funded), but are now signed to Lava/Republic records. This three-piece is: Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar) Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums) Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass) All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as many of us fans, their musical maturity is exceptionally high. Need another suggestion? From The Warning’s TH-cam page you might choose from: - Hell You Call a Dream, Z, Dust to Dust/Dull Knives, or Choke or anything else from their 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance - MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs - S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel - The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish) - The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD - SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk There are really no bad choices. They are something special live-I think it is their super power. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown >20k miles all over North America, Mexico, and just got home from three shows in the UK and Ireland. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled for like this in more than 45 years of concert going was Rush.
Thank you for reacting to The Warning, after looking at some of your other reactions I would like to recommend "REVENANT" Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022. Revenant is another side of these ever so talented sisters. New sub here and waiting for your next reaction to The Warning!
I completely agree "Revenant" is an excellent recommendation, this trio of Sisters are a box of surprises, they have a very high range of styles for everyone. Quality, professionalism and talent are your personal seal. ⚡The Warning⚡. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽🤠
@@JesusRamirez-cg5khI wouldn't describe it as boring; however, I understand your perspective. The Revenant might be more appreciated by demonstrating their musical range after first having listen to some of The Warning's harder-sounding tracks.
You found the best rabbit hole, ever. You could start from their beginning or from their present album, views, or someone's favorite song in votes. Best ride ever.
Thank you for reacting to The Warning. Not only are these three sister talented in the extreme, but they are wonderful people too. They are so open, honest, humble and respectful yet they blow us all over with their hard hitting rock sound. You will no doubt be inundated with suggestions for future reactions, so here's mine. Dust to Dust/Dull Knives also from the Pepsi center and also their re-imagined version of Enter Sandman also at the Pepsi center. There will be many other suggestions but I'll leave them to the rest of The Warning Army to request. Many of us have followed these young women since they were barely into their teens, their talent, skill and passion for what they do was so evident back then we knew they would go a long way; and that they would make a real mark on the music scene one day, those days are here and now and will continue into the future.
Great reaction, these young ladies do not write bad songs. They simply kick major A*s and being a 3 piece makes it that much more incredible...Dust To Dust/Dull Knives, or Hell You Call A Dream. (Pepsi Center) Shows even more of how incredible that truly are...
Best group I've stumbled across in a long, long time. Absolute powerhouses of performance skill, stage presence and charisma on stage. And none of them is yet 25 :)
Welcome to The Warning rabbit hole. As a 8 yr fan and veteran of 3 TW shows, glad you got to experience them. I’m sure you have seen that The Warning Army has descended upon your channel with encouragement and suggestions for more reactions. Hope you enjoy the journey of decide to partake
So many reactors know nothing about The Warning, or have gotten wrong information about these ladies so this is a brief history of the band… and remember, The Warning is almost always better live than a music video or studio recording. You cannot get the passion and stage presence of a live performance from a music video. There are some exceptions but this is the general rule. The Warning is made up of 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villerreal Velez. • They started early. Their parents loved all types of rock music and there was always music, or concert videos playing. They would spend Saturday evenings watching performances by Queen, AC/DC, Elton John, and many, many other bands. • In 2005 when Daniela was 5 years old and Paulina was 3, they were enrolled in music initiation classes- they loved it. Alejandra was only around 1 year old so she had to wait for her time but went through the same classes. • They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. • In 2007 when Daniela was 7 years old their dad bought them the video game “Rock Band” and they completely fell in love with playing it. Dany played the guitar, Paulina was 5 and playing the drums, and Alejandra (being only 3 at the time) stood next to them and clapped along. They loved the aspect of performing on stage and dreamed of doing that. • In 2008 their dad asked Daniela if she wanted to learn another instrument (along with the piano). She chose the guitar. Around the same time Paulina chose the drums (she was 6). At that time Ale’ was still too young but when she turned 6, she wanted to play the bass but had to wait until she was 7 to be big enough to hold and play it. They then realized they could play those 3 instruments together and they began playing as a band. • In 2014 they were playing in their basement studio that their dad made (selling his Harley Davidson motorcycle to afford it) and decided to make a video for their grandparents to see how far they had progressed. The file was too big to just email so dad uploaded the video onto TH-cam and sent the grandparents the link. The video went viral and was seen by millions (well over 25 million to date) include Metallica. Kurt Hammet shouted out Paulina on the drums. Here is the 2014 Metallica Enter Sandman cover from their basement studio affectionately called “The Warning Cave”. They were 14, 12, and 9 years old: th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html • Another person who saw that video was Ellen DeGeneres and in 2015 the girls made their US debut on the Ellen show. The girls wanted to go to the prestigious Burklee College of Music to learn musical theory and more and were trying to raise the money to do so. Ellen heard this and when they were on the show, she (and Target) presented each of the girls with a check for $10,000 so they could attend. • Because Alejandra was only 10 years (well below the minimum age to attend) they sent in an audition tape to show she was capable of handling the music and classes. Here is that audition tape of them playing Muse’s Hysteria at a school “end of school year party”. This is a bass intense song. I think it was pretty clear she was more than capable. 2015 performances of Muse’s Hysteria (10-year-old Ale´ steals the show on bass): th-cam.com/video/fU26wmlF3yg/w-d-xo.html • Here is the Ellen show visit, and a diary of their time at the Burlee College of Music, along with a visit to Harmonix Studios (the creators of the Rock Band video game) with a surprise at the end: th-cam.com/video/3eV1VGel4lE/w-d-xo.html • Here is a 2016 Ted X performance from The Warning: th-cam.com/video/dyJlh0tNK6Y/w-d-xo.html • Here is a 2017 Ted X performance from The Warning: th-cam.com/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/w-d-xo.html • Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing. • They have all given master classes on their instruments, and song writing, and performing (even at as young as 18 years old). • In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different genres as they sorted out their musical style. • They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). • They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, several Independent Music awards in 2019. • In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Here is the official music video: th-cam.com/video/9tKQgesCcTc/w-d-xo.html and here is the live concert version with Alessia Cara’s background vocals: th-cam.com/video/vg9vNE7gm0I/w-d-xo.html • In 2020, after 7 months of negotiations they signed with Lava/Republic records and went straight into the studio to record an album. • In 2022 they released their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error and is amazing! It was done in 2020 but sat because they could not release or tour with it because of Covid. • While touring in 2022 they opened for The Pretty Wreckless and Hailstorm. Lzzy Hale was so taken by the band and in particular Daniela that she presented Dany with a special Gibson Explorer guitar on stage mid-concert. There are videos out there of this and Lzzy does not shy away from telling this story. • Here is a 2022 professionally shot concert to give you an idea of their skills, their power, their stage presence, and their writing abilities. The Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert was their most important concert to date, as they were playing in Mexico’s most prestigious theater, and they were the only act. The 2-night event was sold out and they just killed it! The actual concert starts at around the 2:00 minute mark and it is timestamped so you can see each song title. Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert: th-cam.com/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/w-d-xo.html • In 2023 they opened 4 shows for their absolute idols Muse in Mexico City in front of 60,000 fans. Muse was so taken by The Warning’s performances that they asked them after the 4th show to go to Europe and do 5 more shows with them! Matt Bellamy was so taken with Daniela that he presented her with a one-of-a-kind Manson guitar. • In 2023 they were invited to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. They were the only band to perform that was not up for some type of award. Only about 6 people in the crowd even knew who they were but as you can see from the 2 songs the audience quickly fell in love with them- o More: th-cam.com/video/cZWSDsDsbZU/w-d-xo.html o Evolve: th-cam.com/video/97Pxe9KTgJc/w-d-xo.html • In 2024 they released their fourth album Keep Me Fed which ushered in a new and more sophisticated sound. Here are some songs from the new album- o Automatic Sun: th-cam.com/video/PDFH9AcPpyA/w-d-xo.html o Burnout: th-cam.com/video/HfLRHEuvOT4/w-d-xo.html o Six Feet Deep: th-cam.com/video/j13uxB6fDvk/w-d-xo.html o Sick: th-cam.com/video/5IS53CZjT6o/w-d-xo.html o Hell You Call a Dream: th-cam.com/video/s6b_FgQnXL8/w-d-xo.html o Que Mas Quieres (co-directed by Paulina): th-cam.com/video/1lfb-280MhU/w-d-xo.html • In August of 2024 they played the Poland Rock festival at midnight in front of nearly 300,000 people and just rocked the house. The audience and show MC fell in love with them and sang a special song of appreciation back to them at the end. • There is so much more about they ladies to learn but this will get you started • As they say “You Have Been Warned”!
You just missed the opening acts... They have opened shows for The Killers, Def Leppard, Stryper, Foo Fighters,Guns N' Roses, Mamooth WVH, Samy Haggar, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Godsmack, Muse, Halestorm, The pretty Wreckles, Eruca Sativa (Argentina), Three Days Grace, Royal Blood.
Best Gen Z hard rock power trio on the scene today. Drummer won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year, bassist is a Spector Bass featured artist, and the guitarist has been personally gifted guitars by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and Matt Belamy of Muse, both acts they've toured with. In fact the yellow guitar Dany was playing in this video is that very Manson guitar she was gifted when they were touring with Muse.
60 originals 4 albums, some covers, they have been playing for 11 years now. their music ranges from ballads to heavy metal and not a bad song among them. Enter Sandman in 2014 is where it starts
Welcome to The Warning rock band, comprised of the three Villarreal sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Subscribing to join you on your The Warning journey!
We all thought Rock was dead.." it's not, it just moved to Mexico" "Maggotkin" knows what's up.. These young ladies are a gift to this world, that's all there is to it.. Brilliant on so many levels. Dust to Dust/Dull Knives (cut better) LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX this entire show is absolutely perfect, amazing, brilliant. "You've been Warned" 💥🤯💥🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈
Yeah... I think "Dust to Dust / Dull Knives (Cut Better)" live at that Pepsi Center show is my favorite piece of that concert. Those two songs really snap together perfectly... and they do a really nice transition from song to song. Also Ale's bass just seems pumped up at that concert... which really makes those songs THUMP! Sounds amazing!
Who thought Rock was dead? Rock didn't go anywhere, it's been chugging along just fine for decades. Or are you just an American who thinks just because it isn't ruling the Billboard top 100 and mainstream radio it must be dead? There are plenty of other Countries in the World where Rock has thrived for decades.
JACKPOT.. You may have just found your new favorite band. These sisters are brilliant. 19,22,24yrs old..English is their second language. LIVE performance is their superpower. Try Dust to Dust/Dull Knives (cut better) Live at the Pepsi Center cdmx or Evolve live at the MTV VMA'S 2023.. "YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED" 🌎✌️(world peace)
The entire show from the Pepsi Centre is fire. I have a playlist on my TH-cam channel with all the performances from this show, in the setlist order. So just go down the list, react to those, 23 songs, 23 bangers, can't miss.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!! The Future Of ROCK from Monterrey Mexico, The Villarreal Vélez sisters: Daniela "Dany" (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano) The Lightning riff maker. Paulina "Pau" (drums, lead and backing vocals, piano, and also songwriter for the band) Drum Bombardment from the heavens (Huge Pau Fan here). Pau won the Drumeo 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award. The hosts said that she "dominated" the voting of "a hard category to win". AND, she was nominated in this year to. Alejandra "Ale" (bass guitar, piano, backing vocals) Thunder Goddess. She plays a signature Spector 5 string that she helped design, it's called Ale's Inferno. She also has a blue signature Spector 5-string (as you can see here)...fire and ice. Ale's been playing Spector since age 13, and signed with Spector at 15. The Villarreal Vélez sisters were raised in Monterrey, and all received training on various instruments at an early age. At some point in their childhood, Daniela and Paulina had selected guitar and drums as their primary instruments, respectively. When the youngest of the three, Alejandra, selected bass guitar as her primary instrument at about age 7, the sisters decided to form a rock power trio in 2013. They learned to play rock songs, often via the Rock Band video game series, and posted videos of their performances to TH-cam. In 2014, 12-year-old Paulina was profiled in the women's drumming publication Tom Tom Magazine. The band first gained widespread notice later in 2014 when, at ages 9 through 14, their TH-cam video in which they performed Metallica's "Enter Sandman" went viral among rock music fans, eventually earning more than 20 million views. The video received attention from Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who offered particular praise for Paulina, saying, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" PS: This Band is exceptional in Live setting, The Energy is through the roof !!!! ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan 🤘😎🤘.

You've been Warned
One of the things that blows my mind about them most is that English is their second language. But when they write Spanish songs, they are as equally badass and beautiful (although it's not my No. 1 favorite, I consider Martirio their best song).
Hola amigo. Bienvenido al Multiverso de The Warning. Has sido advertido. Espero que disfrutes del vieje de este poderoso Power Trío de hermanas mexicanas. Saludos desde la Patagonia Argentina. The Warning nos une.
Thanks for your reaction The warning is a Mexican rock band that is made up of 3 sisters. They have 4 albums and they are under 24 years old. I recommend you listen to their cover of enter sandman by metalica, from 2014 when they were: Daniela - Guitar - 14 yrs old. Paulina - Drums - 12 yrs old. Alejandra - Bass Guitar - 9 yrs old. kirk hammett said that the little drummer was a beast when he heard the cover. th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html You should also listen to their songs in their live performances evolve from MTV2023 th-cam.com/video/97Pxe9KTgJc/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUKZXZvbHZlIG10dg%3D%3D dust to dust th-cam.com/video/EzA3SWkeYd8/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUYdGhlIHdhcm5pbmcgZHVzdCB0byBkdXN0 Thanks.
Great reaction. Be prepared The Warning Army is coming to fill your comment section. Guaranteed. You are going to have a blast going down this rabbit hole. These ladies are about to conquer the rock world. You got here juat in time. They play load, old school, kick ass, rock n roll. No gimmicks, no short skirts, heavy makeup, no cursing or abusive behavior. Just pure rock. They are good Catholic girls who have no problem kicking your teeth in and taking no prisoners. You will be amazed how just 3 people can give you a polished wall of sound. I suggest your next reaction should be Evolve from MTV VMAs. Strap in and don;t forget to turn it up. As all Warning fans say, "You hve been Warned!"
As noted they are generally listed as a hard rock band that is more than capable of melting faces. They are all skilled musicians but especially the bass player. Unlike many brands this bass player actually plays the bass and often sets the tempo of their songs. A couple of dangers with these women. The guitar player sometimes pulls out an acoustic guitar and plays with the crowds emotions. However, the really dangerous one is the drummer. What she does with a piano should be classed as an assault. She is more than capable of reducing entire venues to tears. There are two examples of that in this concert when she played Black Holes and then followed it immediately with Breatthe. The Pepsi Center in Mexico City is an 8000 seat venue and there were very few dry eyes when she was done.
Warning Army Indianapolis Division reporting for duty. You're going to love this band. They're one of the fastest rising bands on the planet right now. First off who doesn't love a classic power trio? Then you've got their sound which is good hard-driving rock with some things like metal, alt-rock and punk thrown into the mix. You've got a guitar player (Daniela aka Dany) who sings lead about 65% of the time, a drummer (Paulina aka Pau) who sings harmonies and lead the other 35% of the time and a bass player (Alejandra aka Ale) who also sings harmonies. Plus they all play the piano. At this time they've already been playing together and performing for 10 years, since the bass player, Ale was 9 years old. That fact and what they call "sibling magic" are why they're so tight as a band. IMO the future of rock is looking better than I thought it was going to be thanks to bands like The Warning and a few others. You have been warned! P.S. Their cover of Enter Sandman (which they did with Alessia Cara) is the first song you hear when you play Metallica's The Black List album which is their 30 year anniversary celebration of the release of The Black Album.
You’re about to get a lot of views and comments from The Warning Army, the passionate online fandom for The Warning. TWA has a simple battle cry: “You Have Been Warned!” (Often followed by ⚡️, since the band has used a lightning bolt logo almost since their beginning.) Don’t worry about copyright hits from anything off their official channel; they turn it off deliberately. Some comments have already included their names and ages, I’ll add a few more tidbits: You’re bound to notice the 2014 cover of “Enter Sandman” on their channel; they recorded it purely for family, but after they uploaded it to TH-cam it went viral, and the attention they got was what made them realize that this band they had could really *be* something. Eight years later, Metallica invited them to collaborate with Canadian singer Alessia Cara to be on the Blacklist album; they responded with a true reimagining of “Enter Sandman,” which even a few Metallica fans have guiltily admitted that they prefer to the original at this point. Pau might not quite be the “primary songwriter,” but many of the band’s songs start with her composing on the piano, then bringing what she has to the other two for the full composition and arrangements. Also, Pau shares the lead vocals on this song, but you haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen her belt a full song while beating those drums like naughty stepchildren. “Dust to Dust” is one of her showcases, and also happens to be the lead track from their second album, _Queen of the Murder Scene_ , which is a full-blown rock opera: the tale of a woman whose obsessive love leads to murder and madness. Pau admits that she was going through an emo phase at the time it was written (and you can’t blame her; she was maybe 14 or 15 at the time!) and there are a lot of emo and punk influences on the album. For a long time, the recommendation that every new member of TWA got was to go watch the 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan. But in the past two months, every individual song from the Pepsi Center concert has been released (although we have yet to see a single video of the whole two hour show), and general consensus is moving towards recognizing that as the gold standard. But you honestly can’t go wrong with either one.
I had a friend tell me about The Warning almost 2 years ago. I was hooked immediately!! I have seen them LIVE and met them twice since then and going to another show next week. My wife and kids think I'm crazy!!!!!!! ( my 3 daughters are about the same age )
Amazing concert! (Blu-ray!) Every version of Disciple is amazing. I didn't think it could get better, but everything is better at Pepsi Center CDMX 2023 (D2D/DK, Martirio, Choke, Survive, HYCAD, etc., and the ballads; Dark Holes, Breathe, When I'm Alone). These 3 sisters are amazing. I was a huge Rock fan but gave up on "new" Rock bands until The Warning. Personal opinion: there hadn't been a great "new" Rock band in over 20 years; by the time I was an adult it was older Rock bands still performing, or Pop and Mumble-Rap. Dany's guitar/ vocals are stellar; Pau's a force of nature, a brilliant drummer/ vocalist; all 3 sisters are brilliant songwriters. The biggest change is Ale's remarkable Bass and rich Contralto vocals are finally forward in the mix. Ale is a Contralto; Dany, an Alto with a crazy range who can hit high Mezzo notes; Pau, a Mezzo, can sound like a Soprano. However, it's Ale who gives The Warning much of its remarkable 80's vibe; no surprise as Ale is a world-class Jazz bassist playing Rock. Ale, who has perfect timing and pitch, is doing so much while seeming as if she's not doing very much; she's vital the band. Ale only recently spoke about what a huge influence Jaco Pastorius has had on her music; makes perfect sense because Jaco is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential bassists of all time. It's a big part of where The Warning's Wall of Sound and the gorgeous 70's and 80's vibe comes from. I saw The Warning live again a month ago and they were remarkable. These 3 sisters complement each other perfectly: Pau, Fiery Passion; Dany, Incredibly Charismatic; Ale, the Queen of Cool, (some call her the "Goddess of Thunder"). I was on the balcony right next to their manager Rudy, who is incredibly nice; Ale's subharmonics are so insane the whole building was shaking, as were my teeth, bones, and blood. Until The Warning came along I'd basically given up on any new Rock; if I wanted to listen to new music I'd listen to Country - Bluegrass (I'm a huge fan of singers like Alison Krauss), or Metal, but I'm really only into Symphonic Metal. The Warnings remarkable reimagining of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" at Pepsi Center CDMX, with a classical string section, becomes 3 sisters singing a haunting lullaby, and a cross between Hard Rock and Symphonic Metal. The Warning is reviving Rock; a miracle considering they're a band of only 3 sisters from Mexico. DAP has inspired me to start listening to other young Rock bands too. Thanks for the reaction!
Welcome man , i highly recommend that you react to their songs called " Dust to dust " which leads straight in to the song " Dull knives " , as a double reaction , at the Pepsi centre ,with some sort of analysis imput from you afterwards would be great , cheers fella !
Neat reaction. Very glad you enjoyed it. You mentioned it was a good crowd. The venue's capacity is 8,000 and it was the largest crowd TW had performed to, as headliners, and it was in their home country for their 10th anniversary as a band. All TW's live shows have an a special energy to them, but I gather this was one occasion where they really pushed the boat out. Btw, if you should ever get the opportunity to check out TW live, I highly recommend you do so.
Welcome to the warning! Some recomendations: - Hell you call a dream (live at pepsi center) -evolve (live at mtv vms) -automatic sun (mtv push or vevo studios) You have been warned!! ⚡⚡⚡
Their superpower is live... they are one of those rare bands that is BETTER live. Their talent and energy just shine live. Freaky talented sisters who have been a band for over 10 years already and they are only 24, 22, and 19. Yeah... you do the math! ;-) Phenoms! I recommend checking out their live performance of "Evolve" at the MTV VMAs in 2023. The drummer has a real standout moment in that song... I won't spoil it for you. ;-) That performance also garnered them a LOT of new fans. Even the VMA's producer said, "HOLY SHIT! I'm a fan!" to them after they got offstage. lol Super-energetic performance... I am not guiding you wrong! ;-) Also... they are very friendly to reactors... so they never block anything you view from their TH-cam channel.
*a concise history* *_The Warning_* are Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra, three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico... you'll see their names and band name abbreviated as DPA or DPA/TW... each goes by a nickname taken from the first part of their names... Dany for Daniela, Pau (like POW!) for Paulina, and Ale (like Ah Leh) for Alejandra... you'll also see "TWA" which is The Warning Army, their highly enthusiastic fan base 😜 DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 4 and 6 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar) when they started learning and playing classical piano... Ale (bass) was still pretty much a newborn... they all learned and played classical piano first... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau, at age 6, gravitated to the drums and Dany, at age 8, took up the guitar... Ale was 7 or had just turned 8 when she chose the bass... a few months after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are today... if you want to see where they started, the first link in this list will take you there... watch them in this order: 2014 viral start : th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html OMV reimagined of above w/ Alessia Cara : th-cam.com/video/9tKQgesCcTc/w-d-xo.html live of reimagined at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX - Aug 2022 : th-cam.com/video/vg9vNE7gm0I/w-d-xo.html live of reimagined with 10-piece string section at Pepsi Center CDMX - Oct 2023 : th-cam.com/video/-stoqv5W8RM/w-d-xo.html TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Welcome to the best rabbit hole in rock music! Their videos range from their break out viral video of Enter Sandman when they were 9, 12, and 14 years old to today, at 19, 22, and 24 years old. They refuse to be pigeon holed into one strict genre but hard rock is the core. Be Warned, the Warning Army is coming to blow up your channel with passion like you rarely see.
You have stepped up to the edge of The Warning rabbit hole. You will not be disappointed if you leap in. That Pepsi Center concert is a great beginning.
A footnote to this performance from October 2023. THE WARNING -- MUSE -- A GUITAR -- SONGWRITING One of The Warning's musical idols is Muse (they're both rock power trios). One of their earliest covers to appear on TH-cam is their 2015 take on Muse's Hysteria (th-cam.com/video/fU26wmlF3yg/w-d-xo.html -- performed at the school Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra {aka Dany, Pau & Ale} attended when the three were 15, 13, and 10 respectively)... which got the attention of Muse's Matt Bellamy around 2016 or 2017. In January 2023 -- The Warning's manager surprised the band's members by telling them Muse chose them to open 4 of their shows in Mexico in February 2023 (their reaction to the surprise here: th-cam.com/video/KTMHR-K8Gm8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xAMgJROf5tkttEXA). Backstage after one of those Mexico shows, Muse invited them to tour Europe with them in the spring of 2023 (their answer: an immediate Yes) and asked Dany what her favorite color was (her answer: yellow). Matt Bellamy bought a majority of the British company Manson Guitar Works in 2019. Before a show together in the UK on that 2023 tour, Bellamy gifted Dany the yellow Manson guitar with the inverted headstock you saw in this performance. The regular Muse trio tours with a fourth bandmate, keyboard player Dan Lancaster, who co-wrote some songs with The Warning appearing on their 2024 album Keep Me Fed.
Yeeeeaaaaahhhh. Welcome to your new addiction. All 23 songs from Live at the Pepsi Center (Tenth Anniversary of The Warning show) are on their TH-cam channel now. The entire concert is on their Patreon page. That said, if you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. The girls grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV. The kids all learned classical piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they rarely do covers anymore. They are as good as, or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch. Their first two albums were crowd-funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense. These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24. They sold out their Spring tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're also back from Japan and a stint in L.A. for the launch of their new album, on to Europe for festivals, and headed on to Canada, the USA, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for two dates next February. Their fourth album, Keep Me Fed, arrived June 28, and they performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before. They were on MTV Push during July. They played Pol'and'Rock and Wacken Open Air festivals in Europe before many tens of thousands of fans.Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity. Welcome to a deep, deep, 11-year-old rabbit hole.
This is how a new reaction should be done - study the video without interruptions, and then say your opinions. Asking for more info was the cherry on the sundae, well done..
Just so you know, you will never have copyright issues when reacting to any videos off of The Warning's official TH-cam Channel. Welcome to The Warning.
Awesome! Thank you reacting to them so quickly! Looking forward to more in the future and I give you another albeit late welcome from TWA! I see you've gotten loads of suggestions already but if you continue the journey on your own my suggestions would be "Hell You Call A Dream", "Choke", "Z", "Dust to Dust/Dull Knives" all from from Pepsi Center CDMX). Another great one is "The Warning - EVOLVE (Live on The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards)". Some people go back to the beginning when the Warning went viral with Enter Sandman cover at 9, 12 and 14 then do the Enter Sandman from Pepsi Center to see the progression.
They have well thought out entertaining videos, but live is their super power. They project their enthusiasm for the music right off the stage and over the audience.
The yellow Mustard guitar was gifted to her from Muse. She was also gifted another white guitar from Izzy Hale from Halestorm. Both in the last 2 years
Welcome to the fandom! ♥ these chikas! I suggest these TW songs: Automatic Sun, Money, Sick & Dust To Dust (live Teatro) I also suggest another all female rock band from Japan: Band Maid. I suggest these BM songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners & Bubble Both bands are big fans of each other. They also released a song collab a few months back called Show Them
The Warning Army in 3...2...1...
GO!
We're here!
I’m 63 years old and I fell into this rabbit hole one year ago, and these ladies are the REAL DEAL! The Warning Army welcomes you
62 here and same
Ditto - at 70
13 months for me and it`s sheer craziness. TW rules. :)
A mis 67 años roçkeando con the warning😂😂😂
68 here; same. The Warning has the “it” factor.
This three-piece is:
Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar)
Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums)
Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass)
All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano.
From The Warning’s TH-cam page you might choose from:
- Hell You Call a Dream, Z, Dust to Dust/Dull Knives, or Choke or anything else from their 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance
- MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs
- S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel
- The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish)
- The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD
- SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk
There are really no bad choices.
Thank you for this and for the suggestions!
💯
Well said, yeni.
Ale, the bassist was a Spector Bass signature artist at 14. As an "old guy" bass player that's amazing.
I subbed for more The Warning let's goooo!!!
Revenant usually is boring for some first time reactors. I think he should react to some other songs first.
You have been WARNED!!! ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘
We all have! :-D What a ride!
They were 14, 12, and 9 years old: th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html
• Another person who saw that video was Ellen DeGeneres and in 2015 the girls made their US debut on the Ellen show.
2015 performances of Muse’s Hysteria (10-year-old Ale´ steals the show on bass): th-cam.com/video/fU26wmlF3yg/w-d-xo.html
• Here is the Ellen show visit, and a diary of their time at the Burlee College of Music, along with a visit to Harmonix Studios (the creators of the Rock Band video game) with a surprise at the end: th-cam.com/video/3eV1VGel4lE/w-d-xo.html
• Here is a 2016 Ted X performance from The Warning: th-cam.com/video/dyJlh0tNK6Y/w-d-xo.html
• Here is a 2017 Ted X performance from The Warning: th-cam.com/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/w-d-xo.html
• Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs.
Here is the official music video: th-cam.com/video/9tKQgesCcTc/w-d-xo.html and here is the live concert version with Alessia Cara’s background vocals: th-cam.com/video/vg9vNE7gm0I/w-d-xo.html
• In 2020, after 7 months of negotiations they signed with Lava/Republic records and went straight into the studio to record an album.
Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert: th-cam.com/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/w-d-xo.html
• In 2023 they opened 4 shows for their absolute idols Muse in Mexico City in front of 60,000 fans.
Only about 6 people in the crowd even knew who they were but as you can see from the 2 songs the audience quickly fell in love with them-
o More: th-cam.com/video/cZWSDsDsbZU/w-d-xo.html
o Evolve: th-cam.com/video/97Pxe9KTgJc/w-d-xo.html
• In 2024 they released their fourth album Keep Me Fed which ushered in a new and more sophisticated sound. Here are some songs from the new album-
o Automatic Sun: th-cam.com/video/PDFH9AcPpyA/w-d-xo.html
o Burnout: th-cam.com/video/HfLRHEuvOT4/w-d-xo.html

• In August of 2024 they played the Poland Rock festival at midnight in front of nearly 300,000 people and just rocked the house. The audience and show MC fell in love with them and sang a special song of appreciation back to them at the end.
• There is so much more about they ladies to learn but this will get you started
• As they say “You Have Been Warned”!

WELCOME our new The Warning fan...... yes, because you will be a fan, that's for sure! 😘
60 originals 4 albums, some covers, they have been playing for 11 years now. their music ranges from ballads to heavy metal and not a bad song among them. Enter Sandman in 2014 is where it starts
Hello everyone this the warning army reporting from Texas.
Rock has always been around and alive. TW just elevates it 🤘
You will love them like a proud uncle.
Trust me.
Legion of PAU: Protective Adopted Uncles
Or a proud granpa like me.

The Future Of ROCK from Monterrey Mexico, The Villarreal Vélez sisters:
Daniela "Dany" (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano) The Lightning riff maker.
The video received attention from Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who offered particular praise for Paulina, saying, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!"
PS: This Band is exceptional in Live setting, The Energy is through the roof !!!!

One of the things that blows my mind about them most is that English is their second language. But when they write Spanish songs, they are as equally badass and beautiful (although it's not my No. 1 favorite, I consider Martirio their best song).
Welcome to The Warning. And enjoy the ride.

The warning is a Mexican rock band that is made up of 3 sisters. They have 4 albums and they are under 24 years old.
I recommend you listen to their cover of enter sandman by metalica, from 2014 when they were: Daniela - Guitar - 14 yrs old. Paulina - Drums - 12 yrs old. Alejandra - Bass Guitar - 9 yrs old. kirk hammett said that the little drummer was a beast when he heard the cover. th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html
You should also listen to their songs in their live performances

This was their 10th anniversary show, a year ago, when they were 18,21 and 23. 60 published songs. None are skippers, all good songs.
🤘 Welcome brother! You've been Warned! ⚡
Here for The Warning! Welcome to the rabbit hole! It's an amazing trip! 🤘😎⚡
The Warning is the real deal 💯%🔥🔥🔥&⚡⚡⚡
WELCOME !!! Tidal Rising, Tedx Talks 2016,2017. THANK YOU !
TWA is kindly coming for you....
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!
Agreed. They are all very talented musicians. Ale is a prodigy - nearly 5 years younger than Dany.

Go to the next song in this concert, "Z".
TWA has a simple battle cry: “You Have Been Warned!” (Often followed by ⚡️, since the band has used a lightning bolt logo almost since their beginning.)
Don’t worry about copyright hits from anything off their official channel; they turn it off deliberately.
Some comments have already included their names and ages, I’ll add a few more tidbits:
You’re bound to notice the 2014 cover of “Enter Sandman” on their channel; they recorded it purely for family, but after they uploaded it to TH-cam it went viral, and the attention they got was what made them realize that this band they had could really *be* something.
My favorite band of all time Love The Warning ❤❤... THANKS for reacting...👍👍👍
JUST A FAN...💛💙❤️🇨🇴
Bienvenido a la madriguera THE WARNING, saludos desde Ciudad de México TWA CDMX. Has sido Advertido.🤘🔥⚡
Pau has more energy than the Energizer Bunny and her smile lights the stage!
Friend, you have been warned. 😊😊😊
Check out live versions of Dust to Dust, Dull Knives Cut Better and Hell You Call a Dream. Also them performing on the 2023 MTV Music awards. Cheers.
Some recomendations:
- Hell you call a dream (live at pepsi center)
-evolve (live at mtv vms)
-automatic sun (mtv push or vevo studios)
You have been warned!!
I am not guiding you wrong! ;-)
Also... they are very friendly to reactors... so they never block anything you view from their TH-cam channel.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
*a concise history*
*_The Warning_* are Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra, three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico... you'll see their names and band name abbreviated as DPA or DPA/TW... each goes by a nickname taken from the first part of their names... Dany for Daniela, Pau (like POW!) for Paulina, and Ale (like Ah Leh) for Alejandra... you'll also see "TWA" which is The Warning Army, their highly enthusiastic fan base 😜
DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 4 and 6 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar) when they started learning and playing classical piano... Ale was 7 or had just turned 8 when she chose the bass... a few months after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are today...
if you want to see where they started, the first link in this list will take you there... watch them in this order:

Thank you
Welcome to the best rabbit hole in rock music!
Welcome to the real music army after dark, your channel and your reaction was great. Thankyou.
You have stepped up to the edge of The Warning rabbit hole. You will not be disappointed if you leap in. That Pepsi Center concert is a great beginning.
You are in for one hell of a ride if you start following The Warning! These sisters really know how to rock!!
Three sisters from Monterrey Mexico who love to rock just like we do! 🤘

Welcome to The Warning...best all female /sister rock band ever...I should know because I'm 63''...
My favorite song from them. Got to see them a couple or weeks ago in Los Angeles. Excellent.
A footnote to this performance from October 2023.
THE WARNING -- MUSE -- A GUITAR -- SONGWRITING
One of The Warning's musical idols is Muse (they're both rock power trios).
DPA and TWA 👍👍
The Warning!! 🔥 🤘
Welcome to TWA (The Warning Army) You have been WARNED
Lookout, the Warning Army will be coming for you 😂
Yeeeeaaaaahhhh.
Awesome reaction
Thanks for the reaction - better late than never - now you're in for a treat! Have subscribed and given a thumbs up for more!
Welcome to the warning, enjoy your journey!
The yellow guitar that Danny was playing was given to her by Matt Bellamy of MUSE in thanks for their support on their 2023 Tour.
gracias por todos los buenos comentarios hacia mis paisanas, orgullo mexicano , yo tengo 64 las sigo y las escucho al menos por internert !
❤
They have well thought out entertaining videos, but live is their super power. They project their enthusiasm for the music right off the stage and over the audience.
THE WARNING de lo mejor del ROCK de la actualidad🤘🤘
Enjoyed your reaction. Subbed for more of The Warning.
🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
The yellow Mustard guitar was gifted to her from Muse. She was also gifted another white guitar from Izzy Hale from Halestorm. Both in the last 2 years

Welcome to your new addiction you have been Warned 🤟
Welcome to The Warning. Subscribed
Welcome to the fandom! ♥ these chikas! I suggest these TW songs: Automatic Sun, Money, Sick & Dust To Dust (live Teatro)
I also suggest another all female rock band from Japan: Band Maid. I suggest these BM songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners & Bubble
Both bands are big fans of each other. They also released a song collab a few months back called Show Them
Try 'Evolve' from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Probably 96% of the crowd had never heard of them, but they walked in and took control!
