Thanks for reacting to The Warning, they have 445 videos on their TH-cam channel and we will watch every one of them with you. You Have Been Warned! TWA
You are about to discover two truisms when it comes to The Warning: 1) Rock and Roll isn't dead, it just moved to Mexico; and 2) your favorite The Warning song is the last one you heard.
One of the best and most informative reactions I’ve seen on The Warning! I’m also in awe of this amazing Rock band from Mexico. I knew they have something very special about their music arrangements, harmonies, lyrics, etc., etc. But you’ve explained it masterfully…🤟
Yes, they are fluent in English and I believe conversational in French. They write primarily in English but do have 3 Spanish language songs. “Z” is a nice fireplug of an opener but lately they’ve been opening with their newer song S!CK which is currently in the Top 20 of the rock charts.
The drummer, Pau (Paulina) is about 5 feet tall, but there's 10 tons of dynamite packed into that 5 foot package! The guitarist Dani (Daniella) brings a special blend of happy-fun-ferocity! Ale (Alejandra) on bass balances the other two with her smooth, cool, graceful elegance behind her Swiss watch accurate groove machine. Those girls know hard work and have busted their butts to get to where they are! They honestly and righteously earn their audiences. "Talented" just seems an insufficient word to describe them.
AGREED! THE DRUMMER DID HIT ME LIKE A DYNAMITE EXPLOSION, BUT ALL 3 OF THEM ARE INSANELY TALENTED. YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. “TALENTED” IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! 💜🤟🤠
@@PhilZero The best quote I've heard about Pau's drumming is that "she hits her drums like they owe her money." That about sums it up. She also practices singing while running on a treadmill to keep her breath control.
Paulina (Pau-pronounced Pow) was voted best upcoming rock drummer of 2023 by Modern drummer magazine and in the same year received the Drumeo award for best Rock drummer of 2023 She is the main composer with the help of her sisters and she is also the second lead singer. And if you want to hear her sing check out these songs from this same concert, 23, Dust to Dust, Narcisista, Revenant to name a few. You have been warned!
Yes, this is the most IMPORTANT rock band of Gen Z. All 22 songs at this concert are incredibly well recorded, performed, lit, video recorded, mixed, mastered, edited... This is how rock concerts should be filmed. The Warning had been playing for about nine years when this was recorded. They started at 7, 10, and 12, and went viral two years later. That's when they got very serious about it all. This concert was when they were 17, 20, and 22. You will not find any bad songs in their repertoire. Even the stuff they wrote when the bass player was in fourth grade is decent. They have hundreds of videos on their channel. Their first EP came out in early 2015, and you can watch them play it live in June of that year. It's the Live at Luceo de Monterrey concert. That was at their school. It was also an audition to get them into the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, summer program. A year later, they were giving a TEDx Talk at University of Nevada. It went over so well, they did it again a year later, after they cut their first album, *21st Century Blood.* The title track debuted as a video that won several awards. Then they wrote a rock novel concept album! *Queen of the Murder Scene* is presented live at Lunario, November, 2018. It is a tragedy about a girl whose obsession with a person who doesn't really know she exists results in murder and more mayhem. It is an incredible story, told by teenagers. *Error* is the album they were promoting at Teatro Metropolitan, although they played songs from all their albums. *Keep Me Fed* is their next album, coming out on June 28. Five singles from it are already out there. The band is currently touring in Europe and the UK. Watch the live version of *Hell You Call a Dream* from their tenth anniversary show at Pepsi Center, CDMX. Then watch the official video of *Automatic Sun* (live festival video with studio audio overdubbed). Welcome to a very fun, deep DEEP rabbit hole!
Alaska TWA member reporting for duty! These three young ladies are amazing. At this concert Dany is 22 (Guitar), Pau “POW” the drummer is 20, and Ale’ the bass player is 17.
Fantastic 1st-time The Warning reaction Phil! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN". The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #51 original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album). Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. They have recently dropped #3 other brand new singles - - HELL YOU CALL A DREAM (live Pepsi Center) - QUE MA`S QUIERES (Spanish) - AUTOMATIC SUN (live video over studio track) Thank you for sharing your TW discovery with us! 🗣 Subscribed! 🤘☺️❤
@@PhilZero They actually have a song named *More* and if you watch it choose the video *The Warning - MORE (Live on The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards / 2023)*
You haven't even scratched the surface with these ladies. Despite being so young, they've been a band for 10 years, have 3 albums full of great music and they're about to release their 4th one on June 28th. They have lots of amazing music videos and professionally recorded live performances, like the one in this video. If you wanna check out some of their newest material I recommend "Hell you call a dream" live from Pepsi Center or "Automatic sun" from Tecate Pal Norte Festival (studio version). You have been Warned! 🤘⚡
@@PhilZero They currently have 3 Spanish songs. Narcisista. released as a stand-alone single, Martirio from the Error album and Que Mas Quieres from the upcoming Keep Me Fed album, dropping June 28. The first two can be found on this Teatro concert. For Narcisista, Pau steps out from behind the drums and lets her long-time drum instructor Beto Ramos play her kit while she takes lead with just the mic and absolutely COMMANDS the stage. Martirio is a magnificent epic of a song in which Dany dazzles with her immaculate vocals.QMQ is the newest and I don't think there's an official live video of it, yet. but there is an official lyric video on their TH-cam page. There is a live performance of it at a radio station which is really good, but I believe it's a shortened version of the song. Most of the time that they play on live radio they cut a verse out of whatever songs they play. I took two years of Spanish in middle school, barely remember any of it, and I LOVE their Spanish songs! I just found this band back in December, and I haven't gone a day without listening to them since. I have NEVER been this enthralled with a band in my life and I'm 54. I have no explanation other than, they are the best I have ever seen or heard. Their entire history is documented online and they are the most sincere, humble and kindhearted celebrities I have ever seen. I mean, they tour with their parents, FFS! I SAT AND WATCHED AN HOUR LONG VIDEO OF PAU BAKING A CAKE! TWICE!! Send help!
Well, they haven't been doing it for decades, but they have been doing it for a decade. You've popped the cap on a whole kettle of awesome and welcome to a most rewarding journey. Oh, and btw, it's so nice to hear the title of this song pronounced correctly. There's such a vast resource of their own music, live and OMVs, plus early covers from when they were literally children, that it's almost impossible to bring it down to one suggestion. However, I'm not worried about that, I'm sure the rest of The Warning Army (TWA), whom you're about to be inundated with, will provide lots of suggestions. You're ongoing enjoyment will be to follow up on every one of them. Two things - The Warning hasn't written a bad song, and, every song you hear becomes your new favourite song.
@@PhilZero Yeah, I'm in the Great White myself and my joke is always that anytime this gets played on my computer, it automatically become Zed as it crosses the border, virtual or real. Same thing when we had a zed in our Postal Code. In conversation with customer service in the States I would explain that, for anything delivered to us, it would automatically change to a zed at the border.
Yep, potentially 3 lead singers and the harmonies are fantastic. The bassist is just 17 here and already a seasoned pro. They cut their 1st album when she was in the 4th grade.
@@PhilZero Ale is sponsored by Spector basses and has been a featured artist since age 15, the bass she is playing has a finish called Ale's Inferno that she helped design and she has her own line of basses called Ale's inferno. She was also taught jazz by her mentor. All three sisters attended the Berklee school of music summer program when very young and they had to make an exception for Ale because she was 10 years old and also Pau because she was 13 if i remember right.
@@GregPourciau I have read that she has a line of basses and that they are 8K ea I have also read that someone said that she has a line of four string basses, So does she have the Ale's Inferno line? 5 string version I believe that is the one that costs 8K am I correct ? Or does she only has a 4 string bass line? And how much is that one? Thank you
Well sir, I commend you on your excellent reaction and analysis of “Z” by The Warning. You really hit upon some tidbits and morsels of musical knowledge that have not been highlighted or mentioned by previous reactors. Kudos to you sir. We are all biting at the bit as we await your next reaction to this amazing and fantastic band of three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. 🇲🇽 I have subscribed. We’ll see you again real soon! ROCK!! 👍🔥🎼🎶
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!! They are awesome musicians! Besides being rock stars they are smart, humble, funny and the nicest people on earth! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
The drummer (Pau) sings lead on Dust to Dust and Narcisista and other songs and she is incredible. She can drum and sing lead as if it was no big deal. Check out either of those songs and your mind will be blown
PLEASE just stay with this concert and you won’t believe how much talent and fun unfolds. They are mesmerizing! Your reaction was fantastic - very insightful. Here for you!
Oh Phil, dear oh dear, I can see your life, as you know it, is about to change. This song is the opener for this concert and it is one hell of a concert. It would be great to react to all this concert song by song or two at a time as ALL 22 songs in this concert will rock your socks off. If you want to see present day, The Warning then try Hell you call a dream live at the Pepsi centre and also The official live performance with studio audio of Automatic sun. Great reaction and give us more. 🤟
First of all, welcome to the party we call The Warning. The rest of The Warning Army (TWA) will be along soon. Just because Dany does not do guitars solos in to many song does not mean she is not capable of throwing one down. Pau (Pow) sings lead from behind the kit in a handful of songs and that still blows my mind considering the brain power it takes to have the limb independence, then to sing a different melody than you 4 limbs are moving at and not to mention the breath control it takes. Ale (Ah-lay) is the calm cool more reserved thunder groove master and youngest sister. And she is the hidden gem of the trio as she prefers not to sing but she is very capable. Thanks for checking them out.
Dany is mistress of riffs like Keith Richards or Pete Townshend and smooth soloes like David Gilmour. Pau/Ale are like living metronomes and Pau's screams give the rest. This is The Warning! :) Thanks for great reaction
Also relevant to know is how tiny she is. She’s barely 5feet tall and is very petite, yet can pound the drums as hard as someone a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier. All while making it look effortless.
Also worth noting that if you pay close attention to our petite Pau when she is playing and both arms come up at the same time for another big hit, the definition in her shoulders from all the years working the skins and tins. I bet she is much stronger than her small frame leads us to assume.
I predict someday Alejandra will be thrown into the spotlight by circumstances. (Sore throat, illness, whatever). Hopefully she will just start when she has something to share and we look forward to that day. ❤️❤️❤️
At the time of filming, Dany (guitar) was 22, Pau (pronounced POW, drums) was 20, and Ale (pronounced Ah-lay, bass) was 17. They did a 90 minute set with that energy the entire way through at 7300 feet elevation. It blows my mind. Their new album is gonna be fire.
These young ladies are the real deal. They've been arranging their own music since they first learned sonwriting in 2013-14. Along the way they also picked up professional credits for arranging, mixing and producing. They know how keep it simple but venue filling, and they manage to keep the melody chugging along even when one or two instruments are muted.
I have been saying for many years now that these young ladies would one day be known world wide and now I honestly believe The Warning will single-handedly bring rock music back to main stream status. Yes, there are other good rock bands out there, but none of them seem to have that “it” factor of which The Warning obviously have. I have friends who have said they were never really into rock, now listen to and follow The Warning. I also believe they will one day be recognized as the greatest power trio of all time. As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition. It is not just the fact that they are masters of their individual instruments, or the fact that they write their own music and lyrics. They honestly love what they are doing. Yes, they are masters at creating great music, but they live for their on stage interaction with their fans. No band has ever had such a love and appreciation for their followers than do these three young ladies. All three of them sing, and they harmonize like no other rock band ever has. Their vocals are literally what gives them the edge over all other power trios that has ever existed! The Warning are destined to dominate the world of music for as long as they choose to do so. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
So I adore, je t'adore DPA. But some statements are a bit over the top, like "no band has harmonized" like them. Remember Queen? Greatest power trio? How about Rush? That said, all the above is TRUE. Great connection to the audience. GIANT live energy, stage presence, sass, the "my favorite TWB song is the last one I heard", can't live without some Warning in my morning, day, evening... Many try to compare them to some genre or other. Maybe one they loved and miss. But it is evident to me that this is a genre all its own. WARNING MUSIC! THAT IS ALL!
I think Maneskin have something of that 'it' rock-star attitude too, but you are quite right that none of us who have been watching for years will be remotely surprised when these 3 are one of the biggest bands in the world. I'm even prepared to consider the possibility that they could eventually eclipse Rush, Nirvana and Cream. Perhaps 'have as much influence as' would be a better term - no-one can really be 'greatest' - it's too subjective. They certainly have the potential for extraordinary longevity as a band if they don't get fed up of it.
@@tomcanfield705 sorry for the delayed response my friend. I do remember Queen, I have all their albums and have seen them live, what an amazing show it was. Rush…besides Pink Floyd, Rush has been my all time favorite band (I also have all their albums and have seen them live multiple times). I did not say they eclipses Rush now, for they have decades to go before they can come close to building the legacy Rush has built. But The Warning are young, and realistically are just beginning their rise to the top. Rush, Cream, early Grand Funk Railroad, Triumph, the list goes on, and yes, I am well aware that what I say is flamboyant to say the least, but I knew from the very first time I saw them back in mid 2015 that The Warning was something very special. I may be wrong, but at the very least, The Warning will, without any doubt in my mind be added to the list of the greatest influences in music for many decades to come. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
The bassist hasn't even hit her 20s yet! Yes, these sisters really are that good, at everything. They just became the first Mexican band to hit the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart (and break into the top 20) with 'S!CK'. But try another live, like 'Evolve' at the 2023 MTV VMAs or 'Dust to Dust' from Teatro Metropolitan, which features the drummer singing lead while still drumming furiously.
@@PhilZero when in their mid teens they wrote an epic rock opera album Queen of the Murder Scene financed by patreon and kickstarter and it was nominated as indie album of the year. Songs from the album you should check out The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade), Dust to Dust. A more recent would be Choke the official version
Welcome to the world of The Warning...love your analysis and reaction..i think you're a true musician..you can hear and see the flow of the music..you have been warned!!!!! Hope to see more of The Warning.
They wrote and composed two entire albums as teenagers in a second language. Now their fourth album is coming out, with songs like S!CK, Hell You Call a Dream, and Automatic Sun. All different, all amazing, but always better live.
All three sisters are classically trained pianists since they were tiny children. They still play the piano when they compose songs. All three can sing lead while playing their respected instruments. The drummer can sing while playing drums, hard rock or ballads. They sing in English, Spanish, some French and a smidgen of Japanese. (Mukha kang Filipino.)
They have been performing for a decade. They started performing as The Warning in 2014 at the ages of 14, 12 and 9. Check out the latest song Automatic Sun that has only been out a week. To see the drummer sing lead; check out Dust to Dust or 23 from this same concert.
@@PhilZero The video of their full concert at *Teatro Metropolitan* will keep you busy for a while since they simply don't know how to write bad songs.
I believe they took the name in 2013, because they were in a Battle of the Bands, and needed a name for the band. They envisioned their first Album which they were going to call The Warning, figuring they would get a "REAL" name later, but The Warning stuck.
3 choices for your next reaction from The Warning: 1) 23, from the Teatro Metropolitan concert 2) EVOLVE, from the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards 3) Hell You Call A Dream at Pepsi Center CDMX (last year) Since you seem to enjoy Pau (Paulina, the drummer), my vote goes to 23.
I agree. HELL YOU CALL A DREAM is one of the greatest Rock songs I have ever heard! I would suggest “23” to Phil because he will appreciate the complexity, and yes to EVOLVE for the mighty Pau.
@@PhilZero Another reactor made a cool video about them without spoiling your reactions to their songs. th-cam.com/video/VgBmtFAMaOU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=z19qlBsr6FH9cdL5
Man, I just discovered them 2 days ago and I can’t stop. This is not even close to their best song neither their best performance. They are legit. Btw, good analysis, Today I’ve been watching multiple reactions to this band and yours is the best.
Welcome to The Warning! The entire Teatro Metropolitan concert is fantastic, you can't go wrong with any song from the show. I'd suggest checking out their two most recent songs, Hell You Call A Dream (live) & Automatic Sun (live video, studio audio). If you'd like to go back in time, check out their 2017 TedX Talk from the University of Nevada. Buckle up, you're in for a fun ride...You've Been Warned!
Welcome to the rabbit hole. There is so much to explore with these gals. "Evolve" from the 2023 MTV VMA will blow your head off and surprise you at least a couple of times. Better yet, do "More" from 2023 MTV VMA first as an appetizer.
Great reaction thank you that's the way you start a show. TW are the real deal they are honest hardworking musicians and great song writers. Live performances are their superpower they always deliver. The two new songs they released recently are pretty awesome. Hell you call a Dream live at the Pepsi Center is a real banger.
Thank you for this reaction, the breakdowns was something I hadn't seen much of for The Warning. As somebody else said this is one of the best first reactions to The Warning I have seen. 😃 My personal favorite song where Pau, the drummer is lead, is 23 from this same concert. This whole concert is top quality. I really like More and Evolve The Warning did at MTV video music awards.
These women are rock and roll. Check out their two new live videos: Automatic Sun and Hell you call a Dream. Your face will be melted. They are the consummate performers.
Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning! I see that The Warning Army has already info bombed you with all the bio information. Talking about their stage presence, they toured with Halestorm in 2022 and Lzzy has said in numerous interviews that she has never seen a band, let alone one that young, attack an audience they way The Warning does.
@@PhilZero Lzzy Hale also tells a story about how early on the tour, her band went to check out a Warning sound check. She turned to Joe and told him, "We'd better go practice." She was so impressed with them that she had a Gibson Explorer made to Dany's specifications (sneakily working it out with Dany's guitar tech), then while the Warning was playing one of their sets, Lzzy came out between songs and presented the guitar to Dany as a surprise. You can see that on YT. But, it didn't stop there. When DPA (Dani/Pau/Ale) opened for Muse in Mexico, the boys were so impressed they asked DPA to come open for them in Europe. During that tour, Matt Bellamy gifted Dany a custom-made Manson guitar in her favorite color (yellow). I guess when you're that talented, you don't have to actually buy too many instruments. :)
Welcome and be Warned! Their videos start when they were children. Check out Enter Sandman. They were 14, 12, and 9 years old. This video currently has over 25 million views and they got a shout out by Metallica. Then when they were older Metallica asked them to do a remake of the song which appears on their Blacklist album. I'll come back with links. Be prepared. The Warning army will be descending on you.
Welcome to The Warning! They never miss They never disappoint They always deliver Their Voices are extra instuments and their harmonies are made in heaven Viva #TheWarning
They are really good performers and writers, they have been documenting thier work on TH-cam for 10 years so you can watch their performance and composision evolve from when they were 11, 14 and 16 until todayt at 19, 22 and 24. It is an amazing journey, they were really good from the beginning and just kepp scceleratiing upward. They began with covers at 8, 11 and 13 and those are on Yourube as well.
@@PhilZero Their cover of Metallica Enter sandman has 25million and counting on You Tube they were 9, 12, 14 at the time. Since then they have re-imagined the song and made a video with Alessia Cara for the Metallica black list album that commemorates the black album. And now Enter Sandman belongs to the Warning once you see them perform it here on this Metropolitan concert you will understand why.
Great video, Phil. Thanks for commenting during the video, and throwing some knowledge on us. Next up? Gotta watch them perform "Evolve" at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023. Also, I like that one commenter's suggestion of doing the whole Live @ Teatro Metropolitan show in order, 22 songs, especially since you just reacted to the first one of that show. Oh, they have been doing this for a decade. Go check out their 10-year old performance of Enter Sandman that went viral.
If there is a revival of Rock Music (I hope, I Hope), The Warning will be leading the way! They are putting FUN back in Rock! Check out any song from this live show and be AMAZED! Try "Disciple" and see Dany (Guitar) and Pau (drums) trade lead vocals! You've been Warned!
Hey Phil, this was a great first reaction to " The Warning." It sounds like you're going to join us. I welcome you to a rollercoaster of Rocking good times! They just celebrated 10 years as an official recording band. That's right, Ale, the bassist was 9 years old! Long Live DPA, The Warning 🤘⚡️🫶🇲🇽
Yes, all three girls can sing and do lead vocals. The Daniela (guitar) is the main leader singer. Most songs are written for her to sing. Paulina (drums) has taken the lead on songs she specifically writes for herself but can take lead on any song. Alejandra (bass) does not like to take the lead but will if Daniela is sick. Maybe one day, she will be willing to take the lead on her own.
I was late to The Warning party and now I'm borderline obsessed. All three sisters are insanely talented. If you want to hear more of Pau (Paulina, the drummer/backup vocals) singing, checkout Dust to Dust, 23, Narcisista and Revenant at this same concert. She sings lead on all four. She also shares lead with Dany (Daniella, guitarist/lead singer) on Survive and Disciple. They write all of their own music and I think that their original song count is now in the mid or upper 50's. They've released five singles from their upcoming album (their 4th) Keep Me Fed, to be released on June 28th. I've yet to hear one of their songs that I didn't like and my favorite is the last one that I heard. They still perform one cover (more of a reinvention), Enter Sandman by Metallica, and its the 1st track on Metallica's Blacklist album. My favorite rendition is their live performance of it at the Teatro Metropolitan concert. Keep on rocking, you've been warned!
Welcome to the warning! Get ready for what is coming with this rabbit hole, it would be great to keep on with this show, but if you wanna have like a general proof of what they do i'll recommend the next songs: - Evolve, live at MTV VMS - Dust to dust, live at teatro metropólitan - Hell you call a dream, live at pepsi center. You have been warned! ⚡⚡⚡
I love how he pointed out her playing the riff and singing at the same time. I myself commented on a diff live version of this song last month saying I have never seen anyone do that before.
@@PhilZero yea a lot of people forget or don't know that they went to Berklee college of music (in my home state 🙂) as kids, attending classes with adults
I love how almost every reaction to The Warning includes the words "That Drummer!". Paulina (Pau) is so animated and fun to watch as she obliterates those poor drums! And yeah, she's got a fantastic voice and sings lead on several songs. And that Bass player, Alejandra (Ale) is so chill and fun to watch as she lays down those funky bass lines - she's the 19 year old, (today) but younger in this concert. - OK you got me. I subscribed! I want to watch you work your way down the rabbit hold of The Warning! Check out 'Evolve', Live at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Great reaction!
They've put out a concept album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", as well as a very well done "cinematic" style music video, "XXI Century Blood" -- both when they were not only an indie band without a monster label backing them, but also when they were early to mid teens.
They have said that writing in English is _easier_ - mostly because English is "looser" in terms of grammatical structure than Spanish, and there are a lot more easily rhyming synonyms to pick and chose from. However, they currently have several Spanish tunes, and will undoubtedly unveil more as time goes on... and they are all bangers, just as much as their English tunes are. "Narcissista" has been one of my favorites since it was first presented, and "Que mas Queres" is definitely creeping up there (if still slightly behind the hauntingly beautiful "Martireo")
PhilZero, I believe you just gave the best first time reaction to The Warning. Not only were you honest but informative to the level of humbly teaching. The bonus , of couse, is that you were very impressed with these very amazing and talented young ladies ; Dany, Pau, and Ale.
Thank you for the kind words! 💜🤠🤟 really I’m just a music nerd, so I like to listen for cool little moments in the songs. But it makes me happy to know y’all enjoy it!
The Warning have a way to bring a modern approach to familiar sounds, blending classic rock, hard rock, grunge and pop and turning it into something fresh and unique. You will get tons of info in the comments about these ladies. I definitely recommend watching them live and I would suggest "Hell You Call a Dream" from the Pepsi Center as a good follow-up. And “Automatic Sun” (more hard rock/grunge). Both off their upcoming new album to be released in June. By the way, I watch a lot of reaction videos. That was fantastic. You really educated me on a number of things. New sub.
Awesome reaction! I appreciate that you gave Dani props for what she does as lead singer/lead guitar player. A lot of reactors don't recognize it because they're usually blown away by Pau's abilities, and just seem to zone in on her. All 3 ladies are crazy talented. I hardly listen to anything else anymore. Your reaction earned a subscribe from me. I don't usually subscribe until the 3rd or 4th (or at all) reaction. Keep The Warning reaction/analysis coming!
Well….that was one of the most interesting and insightful breakdowns of a The Warning song. Odd choice for a first taste though, possibly the most simple in their repertoire. Try Dust to Dust, Hell You Call a Dream, Enter Sandman, Amour, Ugh, Dull Knives…..hell, everything they have ever recorded, do the official lives, always the best way to go….
Welcome to the Army, they are musicians at core, trained in classical piano since 4 yo, pick 1 of the nearly 60 song (yes, composed and whrote by them), every song is awesome
Welcome to the future of rock. You are going to love going down this rabbit hole. I see The Warning Army has arrived in your comment section. Pick a song. ANY song. Seriously, they don’t have a bad one. As all Warning fans say, “You have been Warned!”
Welcome to The Warning! Absolutely epic breakdown. If you thought this was great, you’re in for a great journey down the rabbit hole! Check out everything. We’ll be here to watch!
And...if you're into their gear setup, search "Gearmasters The Warning" here on YT. As a "Boomer" in their Army, I have to smile whenever I listen to these girls. As you noticed, they've been brought up listening to music from the 80's on. They're staying "in their lane" and keeping their music simple and catchy - if there was "Top 40" music on the radio still, they would be dominant.
The drummer is Pau (Paulina). Here's your introduction to Pau. Evolove Live at the MTV VMAs, and Dust to Dust live at Teatro. You've been Warned. Oh, they don't have a bad song. If you do Enter Sandman only do their live at Teatro performance.
I think you should check out all 3 versions of Enter Sandman. The original cover from 2014 was pretty much a note for note cover performed by children that would beat most adult garage bands. The official studio from Metallica's Blacklist Album (30th anniversary compilation album, celebrating the Black album, featuring multiple artists from different genres covering songs from the Black album, by invitation from Metallica) should not be dismissed. Alessia Cara was invited by Metallica. She asked The Warning to collaborate with her to reimagine "Enter Sandman". Then The Warning reworked it again to play it live on tour. 3 very distinctively different versions. Each worth listening to.
Yes they write their own songs oh About 56 or more great songs They don't know how to write a bad Song. A great way to get to know them is Enter Sandman 2014 about 30 million Views 9-11-14 years old. Then Ted Ex 2017 and then From There the Skys the Limit From there. Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert. There are so many ways to go and none of them are bad!!! Yeah, you've got a DEEP dive if you want to get the full range of what The Warning are capable of. You'll get lots of suggestions for more songs, to be sure. Definitely go for the live performances, especially from the Teatro show and the new songs from the Pepsi Center, and they also did two songs live for the TV VMAs last year, with that version of "Evolve" being a particular banger. For a good sample of Pau (the drummer) singing lead and switching out with Dany (the guitarist) on lead vocals, check out Survive and also Disciple. Ale (the bassist) rarely sings leads (her choice) but she will sometimes fill in for one of her sisters if they need a break. Mostly she does harmonies and backup vocals.
Phil, you have just come across a band that will become a obsession, as others suggest go down the set list of live at Teatro Metropolitan August 2022, a good introduction to a super talented trio with substantial library of great songs, power & passion.
This band is well worth your time to get to know. They have been a band over 10 years, and it's well documented. Start at the re beginning and watch them grow up like many of us have done.

I LOVE watching people discover The Warning for the first time!!!!!!
SEATBELT FASTENED. SNACKS PACKED. IM GOING INNNN!!!🤠💜🤟🚀
I'm gonna go ahead and give them honorary Gen X status.
@@PhilZero be warned there is no escape from that hole and each new single released gets deeper.

💜🤟🤠 MUCH LOVE FROM CANADA!
They have recently dropped #3 other brand new singles -
- HELL YOU CALL A DREAM (live Pepsi Center)
- QUE MA`S QUIERES (Spanish)
- AUTOMATIC SUN (live video over studio track)

OH MY. LOOKS LIKE I HAVE MY WORK CUT OUT. BUT IM SO EXCITED TO SEE MORE FROM THEM!! 🤠🤟💜
THEY FRIGGIN ROCK! 🤠💜🤟
AGREE! YOU CAN DEFINITELY TELL THEY KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. OBVIOUSLY 🤠💜🤟
@@PhilZero Some say it's a natural talent, BS it's thousands of hours of practice and they put in the work as you can see. Can't fake what they do.
Plenty of room for you in The Warning Army! You play 'em and we'll watch 'em.
@@xxwookey agreed my friend.

The drummer can sing while playing drums, hard rock or ballads. They sing in English, Spanish, some French and a smidgen of Japanese. (Mukha kang Filipino.)
HOLY. THESE GIRLS ARE INSANELY TALENTED!
They have been performing for a decade. They started performing as The Warning in 2014 at the ages of 14, 12 and 9. Check out the latest song Automatic Sun that has only been out a week. To see the drummer sing lead; check out Dust to Dust or 23 from this same concert.
THANK YOU! SOUNDS LIKE I HAVE A LOT OF HOMEWORK! 🤠💜🤟
The best kind!
🔥⚡🤘Great react & analysis, makes me sub for more ! Try Evolve live at the VMAs next. You have been Warned !🤘⚡🔥
Great reaction. The army loves reactors that break apart the song and show the hidden gems written by The Warning. You have been warned.⚡️⚡️⚡️
THANK YOU! EXCITED TO CHECK OUT MORE!! 🤠🤟💜
their performance of evolve from the 2023 mtv vmas is one of my favorites to see people react to i definitely recommend!
OH IM DEFINITELY CHECKING THIS OUT 🤟🤠💜
Yes! This one!!!!! ☝️❤️🔥
3 choices for your next reaction from The Warning:
1) 23, from the Teatro Metropolitan concert
2) EVOLVE, from the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards
3) Hell You Call A Dream at Pepsi Center CDMX (last year)
Since you seem to enjoy Pau (Paulina, the drummer), my vote goes to 23.
And Automatic Sun, their last one song!!! 😂
I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO CHECK OUT ALL OF THEM! 😂😂🤠💜
This is an awesome suggestion for 3 more song!
@@PhilZero Well, yes. Obviously. 😉
I agree. HELL YOU CALL A DREAM is one of the greatest Rock songs I have ever heard!
I would suggest “23” to Phil because he will appreciate the complexity, and yes to EVOLVE for the mighty Pau.
Welcome to the best band in the planet in the last 5 years.
THANK YOU! EXCITED TO SEE MORE!!!🤠🤟💜
@Phil Zero. Sir you know your STUFF. 👏………..🤘
THANK YOU!! 💜💜🤠🤟

OMG you should have a million subs! Loved your reaction and analysis of my favourite band of all time The Warning! You have been WARNED!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! THAT MEANS A LOT!! EXCITED TO CHECK OUT MORE FROM THEM! 🤠💜🤟
Man, I just discovered them 2 days ago and I can’t stop. This is not even close to their best song neither their best performance. They are legit. Btw, good analysis, Today I’ve been watching multiple reactions to this band and yours is the best.
THANK YOU! DW APPARENTLY IM SUPER LATE TO THE PARTY TOO 🤣🤟🤠💜
Welcome to The Warning!
THANK YOU! IT SOUNDS LIKE IM IN FOR ONE HELL OF A RIDE! 🤠💜🤟
Good choices, and yes, the two latest releases are hot man!
Welcome to the rabbit hole. There is so much to explore with these gals. "Evolve" from the 2023 MTV VMA will blow your head off and surprise you at least a couple of times. Better yet, do "More" from 2023 MTV VMA first as an appetizer.
IM SO EXCITED. I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN 🤠💜🤟
Great reaction thank you that's the way you start a show. TW are the real deal they are honest hardworking musicians and great song writers. Live performances are their superpower they always deliver. The two new songs they released recently are pretty awesome. Hell you call a Dream live at the Pepsi Center is a real banger.
THANK YOU! IM SO EXCITED TO CHECK OUT MORE FROM THEM 🤠💜🤟
Thank you for this reaction, the breakdowns was something I hadn't seen much of for The Warning. As somebody else said this is one of the best first reactions to The Warning I have seen. 😃
My personal favorite song where Pau, the drummer is lead, is 23 from this same concert. This whole concert is top quality. I really like More and Evolve The Warning did at MTV video music awards.
THANK YOU FOR THE KIND WORDS! YES IM DEFINITELY CHECKING OUT 23!! 💜🤟🤠
These women are rock and roll. Check out their two new live videos: Automatic Sun and Hell you call a Dream. Your face will be melted. They are the consummate performers.
IM SO EXCITED TO CHECK OUT MORE! 💜🤟🤠
Welcome to The Warning! I agree with everything the Army has already told you, and I liked your analysis!!! More please, I liked and subscribed!!!👏😊⚡️
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I’M EXCITED TO WATCH MORE OF THEM 🤟🤠💜
Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning! I see that The Warning Army has already info bombed you with all the bio information. Talking about their stage presence, they toured with Halestorm in 2022 and Lzzy has said in numerous interviews that she has never seen a band, let alone one that young, attack an audience they way The Warning does.
THANK YOU! 100% AGREE!
OH MY. IM READY! ( I THINK 😂) 🤟🤠💜
Welcome to The Warning!
They never miss
They never disappoint
They always deliver
Their Voices are extra instuments and their harmonies are made in heaven
Viva #TheWarning
THANK YOU! CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE 🤟🤠💜
You can check out their FOUR ALBUMS they've produced in the last ten years. Certified Unicorn ROCKSTARS!
OH MAN. LOOKS LIKE I HAVE SOME HOMEWORK TO DO. (THAT I ACTUALLY WANT TO DO FOR ONCE!) 🤠💜🤟😂
AGREED! 🤠💜🤟 THEY’RE SO FRICKIN GOOD
@@PhilZero Their cover of Metallica Enter sandman has 25million and counting on You Tube they were 9, 12, 14 at the time.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’LL DEFS BE CHECKING OUT MORE! 💜🤠🤟
YES I WILL CHECK OUT AAAALLLLL THEIR SONGS! 🤠💜🤟
Hey Phil, this was a great first reaction to " The Warning." It sounds like you're going to join us. I welcome you to a rollercoaster of Rocking good times! They just celebrated 10 years as an official recording band. That's right, Ale, the bassist was 9 years old!
Long Live DPA, The Warning
🤘⚡️🫶🇲🇽
THANK YOU SO MUCH! IM EXCITED TO SEE MORE FROM THEM. INSANELY TALENTED BUNCH 💜🤟🤠
NOT AS LATE AS ME!! 🤣 OH IM SO CHECKING OUT ALL OF THIS 🤠💜🤟
Welcome to the warning!
Get ready for what is coming with this rabbit hole, it would be great to keep on with this show, but if you wanna have like a general proof of what they do i'll recommend the next songs:
- Evolve, live at MTV VMS
- Dust to dust, live at teatro metropólitan
- Hell you call a dream, live at pepsi center.
You have been warned! ⚡⚡⚡
THANK YOU! ILL BE CHECKING OUT ALL OF THIS! 🤠💜🤟
I love how he pointed out her playing the riff and singing at the same time. I myself commented on a diff live version of this song last month saying I have never seen anyone do that before.
THANK YOU! ITS WAY HARDER THAN IT SEEMS. THESE GIRLS ARE INCREDIBLE! 🤠🤟💜
@@PhilZero yea a lot of people forget or don't know that they went to Berklee college of music (in my home state 🙂) as kids, attending classes with adults

SO I’VE BEEN TOLD! 😂🤟🤠💜 HERE. WE. GOOOOOOOOO
Welcome to The Warning! I really hope you continue with this amazing band, they have a very deep catalog with zero bad songs!
This is going to be a rock journey you will not regret these ladies the warning are amazing 🤟
IM SO EXCITED. HERE WE GOOOOO
Take a look at their last song: "Automatic Sun". It is mindblowing!!!!!!
100% WILL CHECK THIS OUT 👾🚀🤟
They've put out a concept album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", as well as a very well done "cinematic" style music video, "XXI Century Blood" -- both when they were not only an indie band without a monster label backing them, but also when they were early to mid teens.
THIS IS NUTS. I HAVE TO CHECK THIS OUT 🤟🤠💜
They have said that writing in English is _easier_ - mostly because English is "looser" in terms of grammatical structure than Spanish, and there are a lot more easily rhyming synonyms to pick and chose from.
THANK YOU! GONNA CHECK OUT ALL OF THIS! 🤟🤠💜
Thank you. Welcome to TW. Subbed for more of The Warning. Anything from this concert will do. Pick one. TWA
THANK YOU! HAPPY TO BE HERE! 🤠💜🤟
They speak better English than most of the reactors I watch.
You are right 😂
The Warning have a way to bring a modern approach to familiar sounds, blending classic rock, hard rock, grunge and pop and turning it into something fresh and unique. New sub.
THANK YOU!!! SO EXCITED TO SEE MORE FROM THEM! 🤠💜🤟
Vocal harmonies ? Energy and stage presence ? You're at the right place with those 3 ladies...
THANK YOU!!!! I can’t wait to do the next video on them! 💜🤟🤠
@@PhilZero hey, your CapsLock CAN get unstuck! 😂
Sorry, great reaction man, it's just that ALL-CAPS is a pet peeve of mine.
Subbed anyway 👍🏼😎
🤣🤣TRY IT! IT’S FUN!! 🤟🤟
Dust to Dust features singing by the drummer and is super fun to hear
Well….that was one of the most interesting and insightful breakdowns of a The Warning song. Odd choice for a first taste though, possibly the most simple in their repertoire. Try Dust to Dust, Hell You Call a Dream, Enter Sandman, Amour, Ugh, Dull Knives…..hell, everything they have ever recorded, do the official lives, always the best way to go….
IM SO EXCITED TO SEE MORE! A VIEWER TOLD ME TO START WITH Z SO I DID! LATE TO THE PARTY BUT HERE WE ARE! 🤟🤠💜

THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🤟🤠💜 HERE WE GOOOOOOOOO
They’ve been doing this since they were a lot younger. They’re professionals :-)
I’LL CHECK THAT OUT! 100% AGREE! 🤟🤠💜
The drummer is Pau (Paulina). Here's your introduction to Pau. Evolove Live at the MTV VMAs, and Dust to Dust live at Teatro. You've been Warned. Oh, they don't have a bad song. If you do Enter Sandman only do their live at Teatro performance.
I WILL CHECK OUT ALL OF THESE 🤟🤠💜
I think you should check out all 3 versions of Enter Sandman.
@@Emanon905 I agee, all three, and in succession gives an enlightening perspective.
100% agree. Talented is an understatement ⚠️💜🤠🤟
They celebrated 10 years in the industry in 2023 and the youngest is just 19! Just watch the whole damn concert to better understand them- you have only seen the tip of the iceberg that is The Warning! Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert (actual concert starts around the 2:00 minute mark). It is time stamped so you know what is being played. You just saw the first song.
OH MAN IM SO EXCITED TO JUMP INTO ALL THIS!! 🤟💜🤠
Phil, you have just come across a band that will become a obsession, as others suggest go down the set list of live at Teatro Metropolitan August 2022, a good introduction to a super talented trio with substantial library of great songs, power & passion.
IM BUCKLED UP AND READY TO DIVE INNNN!!!! 🤠💜🤟
This band is well worth your time to get to know. They have been a band over 10 years, and it's well documented. Start at the re beginning and watch them grow up like many of us have done.
