Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, the trio of sisters - Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal - erupt with mind-blowing riffs, unpredictable, stadium-filling rhythms and infectious vocals. "So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don’t even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that’s what Disciple is about. I saw a lot of people confused with the video, like “why are you the system and you’re telling people to kill the system?”, well we’re not the system, we (the military characters in the music video) are someone who is buying your opinion without you even knowing about it. So Disciple was a whole process to write about, but I’m so happy with the song and it’s a topic I’m really passionate about, so go stream Disciple, go check it out, the video was so much fun to record and it’s a good song, it’s so much fun to play, I find it really funny that I’m saying that it’s a good song, it’s my song, but it was really one of my favorite songs to write, I put a lot of thought into it and Daniela and I worked relentlessly to get everything across, so glad people are enjoying it."

Take some time with the lyrics. This song is a warning, as their song often are, thus their name! lol Dany is playing a manipulator and Pau is playing her disciple. Dany starts, "the sun is YOUR enemy.." and Pau responds, "the sun is MY enemy.." Encouraging the listener to shut themselves off from the world and become insular, focused on a warped message and feeding on their frustrations and anger. A warning to media manipulation and getting absorbed in these cult-like communities on line. Don't make the sun your enemy, let in the light, stay open and loving! lol
A great song is "Black Holes".....a song about addiction written by Pau about a family friend. It's unbelievable that she wrote that song before she even hit her teens!!
Yes Ale is playing a 5-string Custom Spector Bass only for her ...she's the youngest Spector embassador signed as for now she was signed when she was 13yo and now she's 17 (December she's turning 18) Dany is a PRS Artist and Paulina is a Symbal artist too

I think you need to re-listen- Dany is singing the sun is YOUR enemy today and Pau is singing the sun is MY enemy today. They are singing both sides of the subject- Sick of the system. Sick of the politics. Sick of the ridiculous rules. They write all their music these days (since 2017). They are just singing what they feel and it is so refreshing!

It isn't so much that they're singing both sides of the issue. They're singing the same side, but the lyrics are theatrical, with Dany and Pau both playing different roles. The overall message of the song is a warning and commentary about certain people using social media to influence the thoughts and beliefs of people who are willing to let social media dictate their thoughts. In the song, Dany portrays the main villain who is spreading the message, "The Sun is your enemy today" (the sun represents knowledge, science, truth, exposure to differing viewpoints, as well as literally talking about going out in public and not shutting yourself in). Pau is portraying the obedient disciple who is taking Dany's words to heart and passing the same message onward, becoming just another cog in that same misinformation system. Where "both sides" may come into play is that they aren't necessarily aiming at one side of the political aisle, but rather at all of the people who are using social media to manipulate and pass on false information, conspiracy theories, etc., whether it is right wing or left.

Just saw them in back to back live shows. In person they are Stunning and a wall of sound. Interesting you made the Beatles reference...I've been telling people to prepare for the Mexican Invasion. The amount of music they have written (40+ songs) at this age is prodigious. Go see them at one of their own shows where they can get a proper sound check preferably over the festival setting. My mind was blown
Having seen them Friday in Portland I was astounded at how perfect their sound was in that room, kudos to the tech crew, it let their genius and supernova energy come right out unfiltered and blast us all.

Music and performing is in their DNA. They also work hard and practice hard. Their latest release is "Money". They premiered the song March 15 in Mexico City where they supported the Foo Fighters, 9 days prior to releasing the song publicly, and of course prior to Taylor Hawkins death. This song was written by Pau after a personal relationship went bad.
You don't need to wait and see what they do to be amazed but should look into what they have done. I am going to recommend a song and performance that no one else is going to. It is a song written by Pau. It is not from personal experience but from an article she read about a person caught up in addiction. The song is called "Black Holes" and performed live in their hometown, Monterrey, MX. Paulina sings lead vocals and plays keyboard.

She does this song at other venues, but this is the best. It also shows a different facet to their music writing. It is not a hard rock song but it hits hard. This song is from their XXI Century Blood full studio album released in 2017. Alejandra was 12, Paulina 15, Daniela 17.

The song was written before the pandemic. They are deep thinkers. Look a little deeper than anti authority themes. U might look at the xxi century blood video for a forerunner.

Its fun, Dany and Pau each have their own songs they sing lead in and Ale steps in when either one has an issue when singing lead. Hopefully they don't have issues but on such a long tour she might end up stepping in. When she does it gives the song a whole different angle.

It's really hard to believe how accomplished they are, but if you know their history, they've been at at since they were children, literally. They've worked really hard, and their family support is unbelievable. They pretty much consider their parents to be part of the band, because that's how integral they are.
All of their songs are very deep, and are really meant for you to think and draw out your feelings.
The three of you should do a Track by Track review of their second record, Queen Of The Murder Scene. It is a concept record. Trust me, it is quite deep, and macabre. Very dark. And it was released in 2018. They were, 18, 16 & 13, respectively!! 🤯🤯 For the most impact, you should review it from their debut live performance, that coincided with the record release.

“I did some research and found out they wrote that song.” They’ve written ALL their songs since their first album, except for the 2021 cover of Enter Sandman. Anyone who thinks this band appeared out of nowhere yesterday needs to go back and watch videos like XXI Century Blood or the Survive video from TedX at the University of Nevada, when Ale was still really a tiny bassist instead of a towering supermodel bassist.
They took the original and stripped it down then rebuilt it. Much more a reimagination rather than a simple cover.

"Disciple" isn't their most recent video. That was released last October. (I happen to think it's their best video to date.) But they just released a LIVE video shot in front of 55,,000 fans when they were opening for the Foo Fighters - just days before Taylor Hawkins died. That song is called, "Money" and it's a banger.

I've seen so many reactions to this power house rock band. I have to say you guys are one of the best reaction channels I've seen. It's very genuine and honest. Alejandra is playing her official usa Spector Artist Alejandra Villarreal model 5 string bass... with The Warning inlay on the fretboard and custom finish that she helped them come up with. Apparently we will be able to buy this model of bass eventually!
Pau has always written songs as stories. Queen of the Murder Scene was written, according to Pau, as a "concept album". The woman is always bringing bigger and bigger ideas to the band. Dany is a raging, rocking guitar goddess -- her voice is just amazing. Ale has good a serious case of the Muse and Tool in her bass playing -- she needs a five-string bass for her massive sound. Where will The Warning be a four years? Another Muse? I think they could evolve into a nice successor to Pink Floyd. And honestly, they are three stunning beautiful women.
Ale is playing a 5-string signature Spector base, she´s the queen of thunder. She was endorsed by them at 13 years of age. They are all endorsed Dany by PSR guitars and Pau by Symbian.

One reactor posted a warning - g - to his followers that he wouldn't be doing that many reactions to TW, since while they were a really great and really cool band - which they are - but there were a lot of other great bands he wanted to react to.

Cool reaction video. I think the key to understanding The Warning's video it is that in they are portraying the bad guys, the militaristic authoritarians leading their army of ignorant disciples. Evil never looked nor sounded better.
