- Allison sits back down with the incredibly inspiring women, Dany, Pau and Alé Villarreal, from The Warning. These three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico have been realizing their dreams since they were little girls, paving their own path. They’ve toured with Muse, performed alongside Foo Fighters and Guns N’ Roses and just wrapped a sold-out headline tour in Europe & Japan with US next. They performed at the MTV VMAs last year igniting a new excitement for Rock and have their new album “Keep Me Fed” out this week! They talk about all the exciting updates from the last year, the direction of their new music, how they deal with the stress and sometimes overwhelming parts of their current ascent, their proudest moments, what they’re afraid of most, and if they have time for relationships on the road.

There is an art to pulling off a successful interview with an artist. Allison is simply the very best in her profession. Preparation, authenticity, and a unique ability to establish a genuine connection with the people she is interviewing. Amazing band and an amazing host. Congrats Allison !!
Thomas, I cannot thank you enough for this beautiful compliment. What you addressed is what I have always set out to accomplish in my career, so this means more to me than you realize. Thank you so very much for being part of the show and for taking the time to share this with me. I appreciate you!
@@AllisonHagendorf Thank you Allison for showcasing these incredible sisters who have literally changed people's lives and are leading the resurgence of rock music.
yea but she can bloody waffle
I'll second that 🎯💯
And she knows Rock music! 🎵🎶
✌️💖🎼
Ditto to that. Allison your the best!❤
The Warning sisters “are what’s right in the world “ Absolutely agree Allison
These 3 young woman are leading the future of Rock and Roll with an entire army behind them.
Lol 😅😅😅😅😅 never heard about them and the rest of the world also not ,they are shit
dany is in charge of the crowd, pau is in charge of the show, & ale is in charge of her sister’s ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I love your interviews. You're apparently the only person that can make Ale talk. There were several times that she's talked longer than I've ever heard her, and I've been a fan since 2015. I've seen _all_ of the interviews.
Ale said it herself right at the beginning: When she's comfortable, she forgets to not talk.
Making their guests that comfortable is HUGE praise for any interviewer!
Each member of the rock band "The Warning" possesses distinct qualities that contribute to their collective success on stage and off.
Ale, with her air of mystery and elegance, exudes a subtle yet potent presence that draws others in effortlessly. Her keen sense of observation and adaptability allow her to navigate various situations with precision, Ale quietly achieves her goals, leaving a lasting impression on those around her.
Danny, on the other hand, radiates a regal presence characterized by confidence and natural leadership abilities. Her fearless determination and unwavering loyalty make her a pillar of support for her sisters, while her magnetic charisma captivates audiences, bringing a thrilling energy to every performance.
Pau embodies strength, endurance, and self-assuredness, particularly evident behind the drum kit where she confronts challenges with unwavering confidence. her boldness and determination inspire admiration from her bandmates and fans alike.
Together, these sisters form a formidable team, each bringing their unique strengths to create unforgettable music experiences.
THANK YOU so much for watching. Tune in each week for a new conversation and PLEASE SUBSCRIBE so you don't miss a thing ❤🔥

Omg Allison thank YOUUU! For real, your interviews are my favorite ones! So fresh and uniques! Thank you for listen to us and giving us another Warning interview ! You’re amazing 🥺💞
Great interview of the "Warning" . Now you just need to get "BandMaid" ,"VOB","Liliac" and the "Sixsters" on.
Still down to earth that why i love these 3 sister ❤
Thanks Allison. I became really curious about the songs that as today are still unreleased and the way you hinted at the acoustic bridge or the piano outro. Made me feel jealous. But not for long. Also, if you want to hear a preview of the next evolution you mentioned, The Warning's 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene, has several songs with those eclectic mixtures. They played in 2018 in full at Lunario in Mexico City. The whole show is available on TH-cam. Dany was 18 at the time, and playing the villain role of this concept album. She's singing, playing the instruments (guitar, keyboards) but also acting up her transformation into the "Queen" of the album title
Rick Beato just put out a YT on his channel that relates to the idea of "connecting with fans": that before streaming, a new record release was an EVENT and you had to put effort and resources into it. You're a high schooler bagging groceries, you get your paycheck, you deposit it in the bank, you take out ten dollars cash, you go down to the record store, and you hold that big piece of vinyl. Then when you've played it ten times you take it to a listening party at a friend's house. NOW, you pay eleven bucks a month on Spotify and nearly everything that's ever been recorded, from George Gershwin's piano roll of Rhapsody in Blue to the latest Billie Eilish song, is a couple of swipes away. And if you don't like the first 20 seconds, you just swipe away and get something else. Maybe because they were raised on the bands who did things "the old way" (though Pink Floyd were notoriously reclusive) they understand the two-way commitment and appreciation between artist and listener better than most of their contemporaries.
Ha, you just reminded me of the story that Scott Ian from Anthrax told at Lemmy's funeral. He was talking about the time he went to a record shop and bought an album because it looked cool. As it turns out, it was Motorhead, Ace of Spades. His 15 year old self took that album home, and he played it over and over, in disbelief. He had never heard anything like it. He looked at the album cover and thought, "Who are these 3 Mexicans, and how do they play so fast?!?!?!" 😂
Is YT ghosting Beato? I never get his videos recommended, like ever, and I'm subbed. That's a guy that tells it like it is. Thanks to your comment I looked for that video you speak of, he's got great insight of the industry wonder what his take is on the whole TM/live nation controversy.
@@eduardoescobar1906 That's strange, I have been getting Rick Beato recommendations. Maybe your TH-cam algorithm is out of whack. Go watch Rick's interviews with The Police. That should help!
(And besides, listening to Sting and Stewart Copeland talk about how they love each other but drive each other crazy is always entertaining.)
Yes Rick Beato does tell it like it is except he should Interview "The Warning" for keeping great Rock music alive. The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
The "I don't know where she's hiding" from Pau was the highlight of the interview for me, and I do the exact same thing Pau does with the ASMR videos but with restoring old gadgets
I don't know how Pau talking about missing people and loving people brings tears to my eyes.
Really looking forward to this interview. Your last one was the best for English speaking fans of The Warning.
What a huge compliment! Thank you!
Awards and recognition will come their way ultimately, but really, I feel like they've "arrived", you know? What dragons are there yet to slay?
YES! We talk about all of this!!!! XO
Their superpower is each one of them is, by themselves, they are accomplished musicians. Ale is already one of the top bassists in the world. Dany's stage presence is so charismatic and she plays a mean guitar. I saw a comment that Pau plays the drums like they owe her money - but also with precision. They all can sing. Together? A force. Maybe 'thee' force. The combination of being top musicians AND having that sister connection? Bar none, top band. From Escape the Mind to Keep Me Fed, not a bad song in the bunch. I can't say that about any other band! Couple that with their winning personalities and how they're so grounded and humble? Such a winning combination. We have been properly warned.
The best comment I've seen about Pau is that her drum kit needs a seatbelt. ⚡⚡⚡
My daughter and I love The Warning! So exciting to see good people working hard and having it pay off. Can't wait to see them again in September. Last time we got COVID so, we definitely need to upgrade that memory!
Of course Dany with the comedic relief when talking about their biggest fears 😂
Thank you for having The Warning Back. These girls have inspired me to travel more. I got to see Spain because of their Madrid show. Seeing them in Boston September (never been to Boston). And also gonna plan a trip for their Germany show next year. Who knew that a rock band from Mexico would inspire me to cross off places on my bucket list. They are that inspiring, not only with their music but on who they are. Such great role models. If they announce a show for Argentina or Brazil I am definitely going
I couldn't agree more. They are incredible role models for all of us!
Boston is an awesome city. My wife lived there for 16 years, and I got to visit the city twice before we married and she moved to Sweden. Boston is almost 400 years old, and has a very European feel to it. Make sure to spend a couple days sightseeing.
I am so looking forward to this! Great to see The Warning back on The Allison Hagendorf Show! Your first interview with them was fantastic.
Thank you so, so much!!! I’d like interview them each year!
@@AllisonHagendorf As a nearly-60 something, I can honestly say that The Warning are saving rock music. Best band I've had the pleasure of discovering in over a quarter century. I've seen them live once so far, in London, will see them again in Dublin next month, and I can't wait to see their return to London next April! A true live band!
@@EdwardRLyons I agree. They are so very important in many levels ❤️
@@AllisonHagendorf That would be awesome. Think you can wait a whole year, though? LOL It seems like we all want weekly or monthly recaps. LOL!
@@AllisonHagendorfso are we doing this an annual thing?
They are the greatest, saw them at the troubadour, 2 years ago, and its Awesome seeing Ale talking more, thank you Allison for believing in and interviewing DPA, great interview
TH-cam recommended this video to me- probably because TH-cam always recommends videos featuring one of my most favorite bands. I normally watch the recommended video, maybe leave a comment, then move on. BUT, I very much enjoyed Allison as an interviewer and presenter, so I hit that subscribe button. I'm an older fan at 53, so I've been watching people interview bands since the 80s, but Allison has a unique blend of style, honesty, and friendly warmth that makes me want to watch. Besides, if she can make Ale comfortable enough to talk in an interview, she has a superpower of her own! Came for The Warning, stayed for Allison, and I'm here for the long haul!
These sisters are very musically intelligent, they may be shy but they aren't shy about putting their raw emotions into their art. And that is the primary factor of becoming an amazing artist, put it all out there without fear of criticism.
Great interview Allison, you really connected with them and they opened up to you with real life moments and feelings. This band is going to save rock and I can't think of a better group of people to do it. Viva The Warning!!
These girls are great... Really. It is refreshing... and Ale is speaking 😀. And the interview is so good! Allison 👏👏👏
Amazing interview, Allison! Congrats! I have been following The Warning for years and I have seen them in Barcelona, all the 3 shows they have done! The Warning are the best of the best!
They are going to be the biggest band in the world …look out for The Warning”..folks .

I could easily watch these 4 ladies talk for another couple hours! So good! Thanks Allison and The Warning for a great interview!
Yes! Thanks Allison. First you and then Jimmy Kimmel 😊 hahaha
Hahahahaha. YES!!!!
Yep!!! You so clever🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for creating a fantastic interview with a fantastic band that happens to be my favourite since 2019. This interview cleared up some misgivings some fans are having towards the album but as Paulina mentions, it was all about the less time that they were able to spend on the songs this time around.
Their new album, Keep me Fed, was sold out on the very Day it was Released !! These girls ROCK !!
What an amazing interview, I enjoyed it a lot. The best interviews for The Warning have been in your show, period.
What a great interview. I am very happy for the girls' success and I will continue to do my part to make them better known. They are truly a phenomenon on a musical level and as people.
I really love when you talk With the warning, you are amazing. Congrats
Im 48 years old and I grew up with rock and it was sad to me that hip hop and regarton took over but I raised muy kids listening to rock then my son sent me videos of this girls and I loved them right away . I love Pau specially because I’m a middle kid myself and she reminds me of that independent spirit of the middle child . Ale and Danny. Are also amazing and beautiful and the three together have done so much for rock is unbelievable and I hope rock takes over it’s rightful place in music . The king of music
What a great interview!!! You did an amazing job of balancing talking with each of them individually and as a group, Allison. I was thrilled to see them live at the Whisky last week and the biggest thing I noticed was Dany's showwomanship. For whatever reason, even videos of their live performances don't fully show how connected she is with the audience. But all three are amazingly talented and impressive. I can't wait to see them on your show another time!
Gracias por tan excelente entrevista!
- Pau: Conducts a conversation and pours out his soul about vital things. - Dany: Uh-huh, yes, I'm listening to you girls. - Ale: I've been saving up mana these years and now I'm ready to cast. 😂 Fun time girls. Really good interview. You managed to create a pleasant atmosphere for everyone. Good luck in the future❤😉
MTV push artists that's really cool I got really a nice warm memories from MTV when griowing up, from the 80s all the way to probably early 2000. I think in reality MTV needs them more than they need MTV
Absolutely the best warning interview !! ❤ thanks 🙏🏼👍🏼
Thanks Allison, I was waiting for this!!! Warming up for their show in Italy in July 😊😊😊😊
Dany's super power is that she is the band (and in general) THE automatic sun! She shine all the time.
Pau's is creativity and energy.
Ale's is she is the living embodiment of Cool and Style.
What an amazing interview. Allison is able to produce a comfortable zone in which artists are willing to share a part of their authentic selves. Well done! And of course, DPA are amazing people. Nice ladies you simply want to hang out with. Take off and sail!
So many great moments in this interview. Rudy the Tickling Fiend 🤣😂
Thanks for support the Best Mexican Hard rock band 🤘
Another great interview with the very talented girls from The warning. They are such awesome musicians who write great songs, but they are so humble and grounded and once again Alison you are a great interviewer and how you make them feel so comfortable with you is a real testiment to your skills.
It's good to hear Alé speaking here, I have a similar thing I'm a quiet person if I'm in a situation where I'm uncomfortable. The sisters are getting the recognition they deserve after years of hard work and dedication. One question I would like to ask them as a Maidiac is what was it like working with Band Maid in Japan.
Another fantastic interview. Thanks for keeping it fresh.

Allison I think you'll love this example of their "sister magic". Dany notices Pau is having trouble on Narcisista (I can't hear the problem) and they exchange glances. Ale has come a long way!!! Nice to see her speaking during interviews.
Ale used to speak in their earlier interviews in 2015- 16
@@MrSudeepdas nothing bad about this band. Super talented. Their complex song writing at this age is remarkable.
@@MrSudeepdasit's a girl thing, she has become a beautiful young lady and that extra attention could be overwhelming. As she matures more into a young woman she will open up more. There is a fan-cam concert online where in a silence you can hear a young man fan scream "I love you Ale" 😂, it must be daunting to inflame such passion.
Ale talks more when one of her sisters are missing. Also, she spoke more when they were with Allison last year as well.
Her singing is really something to hear. She has deep voice that is different from Daniela' aggressive and growly voice or Paulina's more classical singing voice. I'd like to hear more of it. But I don't want to hear less of Dany and Pau singing either.
Your first interview is still the go-to recommendation for new fans. Can't wait.

All of that makes it easier for your guests to open up. It’s such a great give-and-take. @@Emanon905 @Eduardoexcobar1906 point is still valid, this interview is much better than anything that can the done on the Kimmel Show. Nothing against late night shows, they are mainly sound bite makers, this was a very honest conversation about a band and an album we love and are looking forwards to hearing.
Thanks for this intelligent and interesting interview. IMHO The Warning’s superpower is how down to earth and relatable they are! You can’t help to pull for them! They are the best ambassadors for their culture. What a wonderful family!

Talking about Pau's scream, it actually has a healing power 😊 My life was full of tragedies and sadness this past 1 year. I watch TW and Band-Maid Special Show in Tokyo (the 1st time I saw both bands live). When Pau screamed in the interlude of "Evolve", I screamed my heart out together with her, all my sadness and depression I screamed it all out. I cried afterwards and my soul was healed❤ I was kinda confused though if I want to cry first or headbanging with Dany first 😂 It was THE show of my life.
Oh my goodness, your comment!
I have recently found TW, during a very challenging time in my life- moving to another place, where I know no one, to help my elderly parents. It's been quite the adventure, and The Warning has become the soundtrack. I will be seeing TW live for the first time this fall. I am going to try your technique and scream my lungs out with Pau's Scream of Destruction. 🙏🏻
Amazing comment, beautifully said!
I'm going to be 60 later in the year and I haven't been to a live rock concert in over 20 years and the young ladies have blown me away. I'm hoping to see them in late September as an early birthday present to myself 🤞🤞.
Also you did a great job interviewing them. Keep up the great work.
I am 53, and I was like you, I haven't been in a concert for a long long time. Last year I saw them twice: San Diego and Tijuana, and it was great! hoping to see them soon again.
59 here. Haven't worked my way to the front of stage floor since Van Halen, 1983. I am literally in training to be able to stand in front of their stage this fall. What a great interview! What great motivation for my training! 💪🏻🏃🏼♀️
I'm 80, have all their CDs and just plain love them! Such an amazing vibe from them while creating the most moving music!
Sadly finances haven't worked out so I won't be able to see them this year. Next year 🤞
The super power of all three of them is their authenticity. To be able to reveal that part of themselves as much as they do is remarkable and is the glue which holds The Warning Army together. They are worth the devotion - not just because they are musical geniuses, but because they are real, caring, self-aware and insightful.
Without a doubt, hands down.... the best The Warning interview ever! ALLISON BINGO!

Dany is an “Automatic Sun” ☀️
Dany's is so beautiful of a person, she is beautiful inside and out, she looks so much like her Mother especially in her eyes.... All 3 of them are.
The Warning are fire 🔥🔥🔥
Ale is so humble and is underrated….. Dany is the heart, Pau is the fire and Ale is the foundation!
Love her Natural extended Partizipation in this one, seems she feels comfortable with Allison.
Underrated? Show me anyone who does not respect Her for who She is.
@@elah1023 When you watch almost all of the reactions to their live performances the first things that get mentioned is Pau drumming and singing along with Dany’s singing. It takes awhile for them to notice the absolute talent Ale has. The Warning is so talented and Ale is willing for her 2 sisters to take the lead and that’s the humble part. I love them!
@@ChadHuisinga First of all: I would not call that "underrated". It`s just what they get as first impression. Second thing: after KMF no one will ever think like that. This album has Ale`s stamps of quality all over the place. :)
@@elah1023 She is a talent that I think few can approach…. We are both agreeing on the same thing…. We are just not agreeing on Ale being underrated… The fans and reactors gravitate to Dany and Pau first and miss Ale’s brilliance at first… which is wrong.
I cracked up at Dany's comment about the risk of airplane chicken 🤣
then Ale's comment about chicken in Mexico City 😂
And the Pau chimed in with, but Mexico City has really good hospitals. 😂
This interview highlighted their distinct personalities and demonstrated the strength and uniqueness they bring to the band. Their mutual support and camaraderie are evident, making them a formidable team.
This interview should become a tradition. Every year it should be made like a kind of photo album. 2x in a row I think this is the best interview.
And I haven't seen Ale like this for a long time, if at all. That means she really feels comfortable and familiar, as introverts love it. By the way, being an introvert is not a disease. Why extroverts always have to feel the compulsion to address this as something special remains a mystery to me. It's not a splin, and it's not a weird quirk. Introverts should rule the world, then maybe something good will come out of it. Because their priorities lie elsewhere than the extroverts.
And a little advice to Allison. Never make this directly the topic to that person in an interview if you want the introvert to continue talking. That's a killer, because the reason she's talking is that she doesn't feel like she's the center of attention, until she is, by addressing the fact that she's an introvert and that she is now suddenly speaking. This is how you tear the introvert out of its comfort zone. Extroverts welcome something like that, introverts then close down again. They love the sidelines and they want to stay there at least in feeling.
If it hasn't already become a tradition, it should become one, namely that there should be at least one Spanish song on every new album. I say this as a German who doesn't understand a single word of Spanish.
Allison is one of the best Interviewers ever ⚡️
They brought rock back and they do it their own way. I'm 61 years old and throughout my whole life, I've never liked so many songs from one band as I have The Warning, there isn't a better band out there today that is as good they are, and I have a feeling that they will be around for a very long time. Thank you, Allison, for the interview and thank you, Dany, Pau, and Ale, keep it going!!!
68 here; agreed.
59 here, and I quite concur.
