Hi Kevin , just wondering if your rear tires are weighted ?

About 250# water in each rear tire. I would run more if I did not trailer it.

I understand that big downed tree might have been heavier than what it looks, but I agree you can rev your tractor more. Plus it helps with the Regen cycle.
And yes, get a real chainsaw, the vegie-saw is more for cutting limbs and small saplings.

Yes on the rpm’s, but the vegie-saw stays lol.

I will be replacing the 80volt Kobalt with the Milwaukee M18 chain saw when this one wears out.

      @@KevinGreer good luck with that.
Why not just get a real chainsaw?
I tried the stihl cordless and made the mistake of buying the Ego 18"
They both are nice buy no comparison against a decent gas powered one.

I have had “real chainsaws” tired of poor performance and endless repairs. For no more than I use them battery power tools and saws work fine for me. Never going back to gas. I have changed over to all battery tools with the exception of my air tools in my shop.

Hello, I just bought an MX5400 and am looking for a grapple. I am looking for a good dual clamp root rake style like you have. Can you tell me what you have and whether you like it or if you have a recommendation for something you think would be a better buy? I like the one you have here because it looks like you can roll it back enough that it rests on the grapple itself and you aren't having to rely totally on the power of the clamps to hold the log.
    Thanks!

Roger, This is the link to the one I have. It is 650 pounds, great root grapple but you give up a lot of lifting power because of the weight. Make sure you have an adequate amount of ballast if you go with a heavy unit.

Buy the grapple from Everything Attachment. Better material, lower weight allows you to lift more.

Land pride makes a good one and very lightweight but still durable. Doesn't take away from the left capacity so much

I think your tractor is not reving high enough to do grapple work. And sir get a real chainsaw. Big diesel and battery chainsaw lol awkward combo. Tks for the video and please more mx6000 video with tractor sound✌️
