This sounds perfect for me. It has a nice deep growl when it starts up, keeps a gurgling idle, sounds quiet enough on the interior for a long drive, sounds clean even at high throttle and sounds mean but ALL without making my truck sound like it's taking a huge shit :D!

Roush has by-far the best exhaust for these F-150s. All my buddies have either flowmasters, thrush mufflers, or just run them straight piped but these Roush systems have the best tone and sound in my opinion. I currently have a 2008 F150 with the 4.6 with the offroad catback system from Roush. Best exhaust i've had so far and i've tried magnaflow, flowmaster, and straight piped. Great products.
I have the 'Stang version of these on my '11 Cali Special. same motor the 302/5.0 Coyote. sound is unbeatable. I desperately want a 11-14 f150 with the same pipes so can always be rockin the Roush sound Spring summer Autumn and winter (Stang is stored Nov-May). but double car payments just won't fly. nice Truck awsome sound!
I love this year and model F150. Currently have a 19 but I am about to go back to a 14. It just looks and feels like a truck and it was extremely durable. I had the 6.2 non raptor and mine. This 3.5 ecoboost can fly But in all honesty the 5.0 isn't far behind.

Can't wait!! I also just ordered the Roush level one performance pack with the cold air intake and chip. Gonna have the dealer install that along with the exhaust :D

Ive been torn between Roush and Borla S-Type for a long time cuz they seem to be very similar in sound/ tone but theres just something about the Roush exhaust that seems to have more of a quality sound, also its considerable more affordable than Borla lol.
Nice video man. I have the 6.2L and I'm getting heavy drone between 1600-1900 RPM. The daily cruise RPM range is 1500-2500 which means most of the time the drone is in your ears. Do you have the same thing ?

If you dont have money for the roush just delete the muffler and resonator and have a dump on it. I have a 2011 5.0 its really quiet at idle. Cold starts are a little loud but not over bearing. Hardly any drone at all. If you put your foot in it it roars to life and can definitely let other people know where you're at. Not recommended for people with a lead foot however i get 20-22mpg city and 24-25 highway stock with shit in the bed

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding exactly what you're asking if you look at my channel you can see a video of the exhaust after the truck is super charged as well maybe that would answer your question? but I have heard a few 40 series flowmaster and I would say that this is definitely louder

yeah I do like the mufflers they are the most aggressive Flowmaster but this roush and the ATAK are nice too man awsome sound!
