Too far north for too long: starting to sail south through the remote Scottish Highlands | Ep 17

We had a great summer in the Scottish highlands and islands, but as we neared the end of August the seasons were definitely turning and it was time to head south. We squeezed in one last castle, whisky distillery and visit to Rona before we started to make our way south from Gairloch. We passed under the Skye bridge, through Kyle Akin and Kyle Rea and down to Sanna beach on Ardnamurchan point, seeing lots of dolphins along the way.

I used to keep Jaffa Cakes in the first aid box for seasickness. I don't know if it is the placebo effect but it seems to work for a lot of people or maybe they just said they were seasick so they could gorge themselves on Jaffa Cakes!
