Your ecu flash for my 23 Z900 has been epic to ride! Even without the pops n bangs option, the exhaust is plenty of hooligan on decel. Can tell how much you played with the throttle plates by the traction light flashing at me non-stop... The shifting and backroading is improved by how it runs as well. Worth every penny!
I tuned one of these last year and got the exact same results. Before that, it was on the dyno with the completely stock exhaust and it made 101hp.... The Cat on this bike is extremely restrictive and should be removed or replaced with a better exhaust altogether. I forgot how low of power it made, but man they're a fun bike to ride around and super comfortable.
Ive ridden almost every bike known to man and these new Z900s are comfortable, powerful down low and CONSTANTLY gets conpliments. I have my GSXR750, but its always a pleasure to ride these Z900s.
Nice flames, I prefer to remain under the radar. I stuck a Z900 motor in my cafe. Also changed head gasket to a cometic 18 thou (0.46mm). Ended up with longer gearing in 1st. The comp ratio up from 10.8:1 to 12.2:1. Rev limiter out to 11200rpm. Happy with my dyno'd 130.2bhp and 76ftbs with the full exhaust and forced air mod. Had to order a steering damper though. More info, search "Z900 head gasket thickness?" Z900 forum. Proper sleeper now.
Installed the flash yesterday with a full Akropovik exhaust. I was seriously considering trading it in before this. Your tune with this exhaust has changed the entire motorcycle for the better. It is an absolute monster now. Can't thank you enough. A little suspension work and it will be perfect
Awesome bike and great gains. Pops and bangs! I love it! I’m almost 50 but have ridden zx10’s RSV4s, Gixx1000’s on trackdays and club racing. I personally like that sound. It reminds me of the hard braking zones after a long fast straight!
Holy Jeebus the BACKFIRES with pops and bangs...talk about BOOM on the streets with the Yoshimura og AMA Superbike race exhaust...the bike woke tf up, and the noises!
@@stratolestele7611 The Z900 produces over 100 horsepower rw stock, but the RS is tuned for a smoother, more accessible power delivery and produces less horsepower.
Love the pops and bangs, when i get a new bike om gonna have Moore Mafia flash my ecu and im gonna have them make it as loud as possible with as much pops and bangs as the bike can produce
I don't know when this whole 'I wanna be as loud and as obnoxious as I possibly can' attitude came along, but I can guarantee you that the street racers in Los Angeles in the 80's and 90's who loved their bikes sounding good and healthy every bit as much as we do today, never made it a goal (ask me how I know) to "make it as loud as possible with as much pops and bangs as the bike can produce" which will ultimately just lead to laws outlawing loud and/or aftermarket exhausts altogether.... and while you're at it, "get off my lawn!" LOL
I'm curious how this tune would work on factory exhaust. I love the sound of the OEM system on my 24, but I am definitely interested in flashing the ECU.
Yes the bike didn't make big gains. But the over all increase was a lot smooth running bike. With more rev power at the very top. Making it a win, win situation 😊😊
Guess I would be classed as, the older gang, at 58 but, I love a loud, obnoxious bike, rice burners only. Look, I'm as American as they come but, a V-twin, anything, appeals to my ears, very little. I owned a 77kz 1000. Gutted, 4 into1 ,Kerker. Beat that sound and, I wanna hear it!!
I picked my 2020 z900rs cafe used with 15k a few months ago, overall I love the bike, but ive had an issue with it struggling through the rpm it happens at random times. I've done a breadbox delete and that didn't change anything. I'm hoped a moore mafia flash tune will fix it. I've had 2 shops check fuel, compression and check it over and no help........Love the videos
My Ninja 1000sx has been tuned and a full akrapovic system installed. New velocity stacks and air filter. Every once in a while I will get a upshift pop in 3rd gear. Surprised the hell outta me the first time I heard it. Would that be something to be expected after the work done to it?
I need you to do my K7. Orange/black very very low mileage. Would make a good video for ya. Run it like it is now and then put your tune in it so I can show the people in Biloxi that our local tuner isn’t worth going to

So this detuned z900 engine, can we run revs to 11,250 or so? I'll be sending mine in soon. All I got is a yoshimura superbike system so the ultimate pops and bangs and fire will also lend to the obnoxious OG 1978/79 AMA superbike style I am going for. My end goal is 180mph, and 150hp(crank) so maybe around 125hp at the wheel
Hey question Moore Mafia I've seen a airbox mod done on forums & and online, etc has anyone seen the benefits of it? Somebody trimmed down parts of the plastic center wall too but my main concern is the 8 total holes they've drilled into the airborne I've done this on a car before but I gather it won't be a rigidity issue for Kawis?

If i threw the Big bore kit on my 2005 buell xb12r. Going from a 1200cubic inch to 1320cubic inch bigger cam better flowing heads, would you be able to tune it?

Those mirrors are whack. I had one of these tuned by Dale Walker… it was a really quick street bike. Great 0-120 but it would fall out because 6th gear was an overdrive. It sounded awesome though. One of my gripes was that the suspension was too soft. I ride very very aggressively. Mine was a 2020 it was a sweet bike
M4 just doesn't seem like the right exhaust for this at all. Needs an old school Kerker or V&H sidewinder drag pipe. Shame nobody makes one of those for it.
There’s a guy at my local bike shop that has the black and gold version of this bike, and he had to have a bit of fabrication done but he has the Brock’s Alien Head (I think it’s the Alien Head, the original round muffler version, not the oval shape) on his bike. He recently showed me a picture and it looks nice. He didn’t have it there at the time so I didn’t hear it. He said it sounds good, not overly loud. That part kind of surprised me because I have the Alien Head 2 on my 1000R and it’s definitely not quiet. Two different animals though.
