beautiful job...... thanks a lot......... just wanna stress ont point....... in my opinion the most important thing to have in a dynamic mission, is the capacity of enemy Ai to do exactly what you can do, evolve money and gear, and attack your bases.... this is exactly what makes antistasi unique ...... dont know if you implemented it..... but still you did a great job

@@sRecollet i figured it out. make sure you subscribe to it on steam workshop through the link and afterwards head to ...multiplayer> server browser> host server> direct action: dynamic missions|altis> it should be at the bottom of a long list of missions there should be like over 20 names and at the bottom you’ll see this mission. hope this helps my man.
As someone that plays solo and is looking for a Ghost Recon Breakpoint alternative, this looks phenomenal!
I also love playing solo but hate the ai sometimes.

Very late to this but just saw your video and downloaded the scenario. I just played for a couple hours solo, trying to take down a nearby base from the airfield, and the scenario was fun as hell. Really looking forward to trying this with my small group. Thank you!

Thanks man! Yeah, you'd be surprised how much new stuff is still being released. Most of the big faction mod teams are still active and releasing updates. That's what's keeping it alive I think.

OK so subscribed to direct action and started playing it with friends and OMG I'm loving this. The freedom to choose mission. Pick my squadron and the tactical part of the missions is amazing. Amazing job

Yeah that's kind of why I designed this. You can use Zeus in this, but it's not required.

Hi, I played your mod. Your's truly amazing, I pretty much play Arma 3 because of your mods. Is a bit buggy here and there but is more of Amra 3's inherent flaws than your mods. I just playing infinitely repayable missions using all the factions and is like roleplaying, it felt great.
This sounds incredible, looks like you've thought about anything the player might need

This is very, very impressive.
I have the same problem with not finishing some of my missions, I kinda had the same idea of making a whole map-wide mission made up of smaller missions that could take a looong time to complete.

This modification is great, I can play it alone or with the 2 friends with whom I usually play ArmA 3. The truth is what complaints I do not have, since the shit that usually works the AI is a matter of the game and not the MOD. I am very grateful to people like you who take the time to share such fun scenarios.

I just started Arma 3 and i really love games like Ghost Recon or Farcry, so i think this is a good way to start with Arma. The progress system sou build in also makes it better for new players to learn all different type of stuff. Also i like single-player more because 1.my pc is not the strongest and 2.im kinda shy hahaha. So a big thank you, i will definitely try this mod the next days
The vindicta mod is pretty good
Looks great but when I tried it at first it's a little confusing in the beginning. It's not as straightforward as the other dynamic Ops however it seems to really set itself apart from the other 2 or 3 good ones which is awesome btw. It's cool to see how each other these is so different.

This sounds amazing bro, I'll definitely check it out for single player. Is it compatible with other mods like the star wars mod? Imagine being an elite Imperial unit infiltrating a rebel planet, or republic infiltrating cis. Or even a WW2 campaign!!

Are running any mods? Have you tried lowering view distance? 1200m terrain / 800m object as infantry. You can press CTRL+\ set up view distance presets for vehicles, aircraft and on foot.
@@BillyEatWorld I’m running a handful of QOL mods (Achilles, earplugs, vtol controller) but no big total conversions or anything.
Hey! This is so fantastic, however we've run in to a problem. The server we use doesn't save the progress of our sandbox which is a massive shame. Is there any proper way to incorporate a save system or is there already one in place we don't know about?
is there an end goal of this mission like destroy all enemies or certain % of the enemy to win

No end goal. It's just a big open ended sandbox mission with a ton of stuff to do.
So I see on your steam page that ACE medical breaks some aspects, but is that the only portion that causes issues or does ACE have other problems as well?
As a player with a small group that likes to play together. This looks like an awesome follow up to our Antistasi game that is almost completed at this point. Unfortunately, we're pretty much dedicated ACE players at this point. Just adds too much that's useful to not have it.

Had a few go on the mission. Really well made. Me, who is a fan of dynamic mission and with progression system, this mission is perfect. Only thing is that when I host a server with my friends, the progression doesn't save.
This mission was never actually designed with persistence in mind (because it's inspired by invade and annex), but so many people have requested, it's actually just been added.
We're testing MP persistence on the new Vietnam version of Direct Action and it'll hopefully be added to Tanoa and Altis later this week.

He should become a part of your squad and you should be able to order him around like your other members

Quick question, I’m playing this with a buddy and whenever he goes to save the scroll bar and presses the save menu he doesn’t have the option to save, just to close it. Any fixes or idea?
3:10 - How did you make that? I'm trying to create something... sorta similar to your gamemode in Eden, and I could really use a feature where you can recruit squadmates or even buy vehicles for yourself.
Probably the biggest but of advice I can give you is the editor modules are nearly always not going to be good enough to do what you want them to do.
90% of what you can see here is done entirely outside of 3den. 3den is only used in Direct action to position where the objectives should be etc. everything else is done with scripts.
You’ll need to learn to script in .sqf (ARMA 3 launguage). As a hint the two main commands you’re looking for are addaction and createUnit.

I managed to make a very simple currency system using "rating" (reputation basically), using createUnit and some RadioAlpha n other kinda triggers I was able to recruit riflemen for 50 rating point each. The core of what I wanted done is literally achieved. Finally! Time to put "addTask" into the mix in some way, then it'll be perfect; I guess it will remove the limitation coming from the amount of "Radio Alpha, Bravo, Charlie..." triggers available, so that I can buy basically anything. Radio Alpha stuff will be refined into requesting TacEvac teams from remote locations or something. Awesome what I could achieve with this basic amount of scripting I know. Thanks again.

Dynamic Universal War System is still the best for every map.
Was hoping this would include a persistent scenario, but you have to restart the scenario after every play. Wish we could see saving in it.

Looks very promising. Does this work with ACE or is there any known problem when used with ACE?
Ace isn't officially supported. Unfortunately because ACE is a super bloated all in one mod it's impossible to test and support compatibility with ACE 100%. The time I'd spend patching stuff for ACE is much better spent on adding new maps etc :).
With that being said... there's nothing preventing ACE from being used, but you'll just need to disable modules if and when they break the mission.

In my unit we play with ACE all the time. It's really hard to go back to vanilla you are used to that. But I'll definitely try it out.
We sometimes play DROs or DSOs when only a few people are around and they don't work particularly well with ACE either (medical for examples with you limping around when ACE says you are perfectly fine). Direct Action could be a very cool alternative to that with random encounters and a persistent "story".
Is there any specific feature of ACE that is known to cause issues and that should be turned off by default when using DA? (you can't turn off medical though in ace, can you?)
I installed indibi2 and the game tells me when it autosaves, but where do I go to load that autosave? Help would be appreciated please! Thanks!
