I'm just waiting Arma to be released in console, I'm already a good player in DayZ and (and at least my friends say) I'm an absurdly competent sniper, but I'm desperate for vehicle combat (especially air to air) since there's no such thing as combat helis or planes in Console's DayZ
Issues I have with rag doll mods are that Arma’s rag dolls are already pretty realistic, and most of these mods dramatize the deaths rather than improve them. A real human corpse, immediately upon death, tends to simply drop straight down like a bag of rocks, or falls immediately in place during motion. There is no slow drop or attempt to stand, or even a force pushing them back. They simply drop where they stand, becoming limp at the immediate moment of death
It depends on how close they get hit w a round, and what kind of round. I don’t think they can code distance for it or the kind of round, so they put in some generic catch all
4:53 - Tactical Urination, Lol!!! I was already starting to get interested in this mod, but I saw that there is no urine flow animation there! It's a pity. It would be nice to create a stealth mission where the sentries leave to pee and at that moment they could be killed

Unsung Redux is compatible with the creators DLC S.O.G. Prairie Fire. We maintain Unsung Redux and Unsung in parallel, so players have a choice to use Unsung with or without the DLC. Loved that Starfighter landing attempt! I hope I can backport the arresting wire system from CVA-31 to the Nimitz eventually.
Finally got into arma3 mainly solo play. Really enjoyed your advice and made good use of it. I'm constantly trying to make arma look better (don't are about fps much) so appreciate all graphics mods
It is because of you that I have most of the mods showcased here, and I am in the process of making a mod myself in conjunction with a friend. And while it does require CUP and a few others, I'm hoping that we can deliver a fun experience that will bring not just a bunch of nostalgia but a lot of variety as well. Thank you, Viper! Dude thank god Anthrax is in this list, he's such an underrated developer and he is extremely skilled in what he does, I closely follow all of his creations and I'm satisfied with every single mod he puts out, totally worth it!

Really need a graphics optimisation video for new and returning players. Can include info on ryzen chips (core parameter tweak) and also newer gpus etc.
Honestly, I don't know enough about Ryzen and how ArmA 3 does on that chipset to give an informative opinion. Plus plenty of others have done comparisons that are much more in depth than I could hope to go. :)
to know that someone with a graphics card that is just 20 numbers above mine I got a 1060 and I run bad on arma 3 laggy and you have a 1080 and run great somehow, I need to get a NEW COMPUTER, or upgrade it with the help of someone, my CPU also needs an upgrade, nice content man, gonna love having 2 frames a second with these mods

Please could you make a video about how you play Arma, and what you think is the best way to begin with when you are a beginner. Like what kind of servers and gamemodes you prefer. Because at the moment it seems like I just make scenarios in the eden editor and its kinda boring somtimes because you know how the mission is and I want something unexpected things to happen. I have tried some official servers like some Zeus Moderator gamemode, it was kinda fun but the bad things is that you can only use vanilla. I would like to know how you play the game because after watching these TOP mods videos with cool looking scenes in the background it seems like you have it real fun and I want to know how you play Arma for it to be it like that. Keep up the good work! I love your videos!♥
For all my cinematic scenes, I use the editor to make it that way. I really only have other players for the aerial shots since I don’t do a lot of ground ops. To use mods on a server, you’d need to join a unit that uses the mods! :) best way to play with those mods instead of just vanilla.

I run the only Droid/CIS unit and it's awesome to see people like Webknight pick up support for us B1s. It makes our gameplay 1000% better once you add in some voice changers so we sound like droids lol.

With the russian escalation redux mod, I'm hoping someone can create a scenario whereas the US Army and Russians perform a joint operation together fighting off CSAT or some other faction.
You seem to know your mods pretty well. Hopefully you dont mind me asking this; How do you replace the vanilla weapons, outfits and loadouts with a loadout you create in CUP for example? My friends and I like playing escape missions such as Escape from Tanoa. And we always start with the base game vanilla outfits and weapons and must use mods such as MCC to access the arsenal to choose a realistic loadout. And we have to keep doing that every time we die. Is there a way to replace the vanilla so we dont have to keep doing this?
You would have to use a .SQF file and use a script that runs at the beginning of the mission and upon respawn to tell the game what loadouts you want to keep. Virtual Arsenal allows you to save loadouts and export them to be used in this way. Also, mods like this steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=704347231&searchtext=save+loadouts should help, but you won't be able to use it on official servers.

Basically me free time when not doing dad or spouse duties is arma and dcs. 2,900 hrs and 5,500 hrs respectively already own the dcs Apache just waiting for it to drop. As much as I like the viper iv always had a thing for the flanker the look of that jet encompasses the tomcat eagle and viper all in one ☝️

I downloaded Continent in arms and the requirements but can not find the mod to load and play. Did some digging around to find a dependency not listed (map or some such) and its a no go. Any advice to find this as a selection and play it? Thanks again.

Have you seen Crow's Electronic Warfare mod? It adds a load of EW mechanics, like tracking signals, jamming of TFAR, EMPs, and jamming of UAV/UGVs.

Hey thanks! It was a short public release of lmao's F-117. He has since taken it off the workshop until it's ready for full release.
