Imagine your an insurgent in say Afghanistan for example, your just sitting in a chair in a remote mountain valley guarding an emerald mine and in your 2 months that you have been in the Taliban you have never experienced combat. Then all the sudden you hear a drone with a giant speaker say "Obama out," only to then fire a missile directly at your location where you are obliterated instantly.

I will agree that the weirdest and somehow the best feeling I've ever had in ArmA is knowing somehow that something isn't right, and a few seconds later either a shot snaps past or I/someone else spots something, it just feels like you're actually getting...'immersed'.
When he said Armed Assault 3 I realized that's what ARMA meant all along...
I know, I always thought it was named after "weapon" in Spanish, as that's also Arma, but Armed Assault makes more sense.

Exile = Sniper simulator or cheeky third person pre peek simulator. Can't remember a single AI mission in Exile that wasn't dead boring.

I remember saving up WEEKS to get a nice Attack Helo, flew to the first Mission and got one taped from some random AI Dude with his Makarov WHILE FLYING 300kmh over the Mission.

the best kill ive ever gotten in arma i got in king of the hill. we were taking sniper fire from a tower. so i got in to the tower and killed the sniper.
i then saw a SUV driving along at break neck speeds så i took a potshot at it. and imagine my suprise when i got the ENEMY KILLED HEADSHOT promt as the car spiraled out of control
reminds me of a time when i killed a guy in a helicopter in another game with a sniper rifle while he was moving very fast accidentally
This exact scene was my favorite moment in my Far Cry 2 playthrough in the parts where you take those shady call from the cell towers and kill those dudes in the fancy cars, I should've recorded it though!
I just deleted arma for other games

ARMA 3 was one of those games where I bought it for the multiplayer experience but I keep coming back to it for the great single player campaign.

Something I love about ArmA is how much freedom it gives me in the editor, Literally convinced me to play it 99% of the time I use arma. I can use DLC guns, Unis, Anything and the game is just cool with it.

@@26.raihanadharahman63 I'd start with the steam forms. I'd recommend the looking for a group section, as recruiters will come to you, rather than the other way around. They have quotas to fill and to do so they have to get there fast to give their info, so it could wind up being fast replies. Hope this helps
I don’t play any of these games but I could watch you talk about them all day! Love the ads. World of tanks on the bf4 tier list killed me and hooked me. If the ads are that good, how good is the content? Yeah I was well impressed mate! The thighs on fire got me again, had me loling at 3am. And the use of the Who Killed Captain Alex sample “drop de bomb man”… top stuff man. Coming from someone who doesn’t watch TH-cam or follow people I don’t know… not some 7 year old but a stubborn almost 30yr old guy who doesn’t waste much time online but you’re very entertaining, so thank you!

I find another game that gets you paranoid of eyes watching you is War Thunder, in realistic battles. Estimating when enemy vehicles will be in particular positions, figuring out what path to take to minimise the lines of sight to those positions, taking into account the turret traverse speed of the enemy in order to pop out and shoot before he’s likely to have you in his sights, that kinda stuff. It can get pretty spooky, but as the maps are pretty tiny you never really get that slow creeping dread. Same for sim battles, implying anyone plays those.
