When poultry eggs are damaged we use unscented white candles to repair them. Just light the candle and wait until wax starts to run down them. Then carefully apply to egg making sure the wax isn't hot. It works, we've saved several hatching eggs.
That sounds like a good idea I think the only difference is poultry eggs are a lot harder then snake eggs so it might not be the best idea but it probably could work.

They're like roasted potatoes, but they're smashed after the first cooking then baked. They are deliciously seasoned with garlic, salt, and whatever floats your boats.

Not sure if that glue would work, but I once saved a broken pigeon egg with medical glue that is used to fix skin cuts, burns, etc. If it's available in your country, it's usueful to have for accidents like this one. Hopefully the egg will survive either way!
I pitch the name Um-numbra for a new name for Umbra. Additionally, in honor of the potato clutch, I'll share a good lil potato salad recipe from a cafe that I no longer work at because it went out of business. Boil your potatoes like you'd normal do until they're fork tender (poking them with a fork, it should give easily), let those cool. You're gonna want to dice up red onion, celery, and red bell peppers, then set that aside. You can do this either while you're waiting on the potatoes to boil, or while waiting for them to cool. Once your potatoes are cooled off, chop them up into bite sized cubes. If you never did this before, I recommend cutting them in half long ways, and then cutting them into inch sized squares from there. Drop all those cubes in a mixing bowl and add your diced veggies. Next you're gonna add a bunch of mayo. I wish I had exact measurements for this, but we mainly eyeballed it. You want enough in there to coat everything. Go light at first and add more if you think you need it. Add a generous squirt of Creamy Italian Dressing. We used the Olive Garden brand, which was super good. Then add a good bit of All Seasoning and Paprika (we mixed a lot of paprika into our all seasoning, so again, I can't give you a good measurement). Mix all that up, add more of anything if you think it needs it, and congrats! You made potato salad! It should keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. If you leave it for a few days, you might need to add a little more mayo and give it a good mix. Enjoy!

Umbra is perfect for her name already. In Elder Scrolls lore, Umbra is a sword commissioned by Clavicus Vile that had part of his power infused into it. Wielders of this sword eventually had their personalities taken over by Umbra, and they identified as the sword (think possessed). I think her name is perfect already.

I've seen another channel where the egg tore when being separated, and they used paper towel, elmas glue and some lotromine powder to patch it. It hatched fine, and apart from a little smaller was perfectly healthy.

In Elder Scrolls lore, Umbra is a sword commissioned by Clavicus Vile that had part of his power infused into it. Wielders of this sword eventually had their personalities taken over by Umbra, and they identified as the sword (think possessed).
I think her name is perfect already.

Saw someones comment calling Umbra Umnumbra and I love it! Also about patching the egg: Saw a TikTok from the Molinary Snake Lab (hope I worte it right) where he patched an ball python egg last year with glue and powder. The baby survived.
When you pointed out reeces wrappers i couldnt stop noticing them and its soo funny how many just appeared on the edges lmao
If that glue baby survives you should name it Elmer, since the Elmer Glue helped

I've seen another channel where the egg tore when being separated, and they used paper towel, elmas glue and some lotromine powder to patch it. It hatched fine, and apart from a little smaller was perfectly healthy.

With chicken eggs, if one becomes cracked, people use candle wax to seal the cracks and the hatch rate is pretty successful with it.
I saw on another channel where he accudentally ripped an egg open, the guy used elmers glue mixed with baby powder and anti fungal powder to make a paste to fix the egg and the egg actually survived :)
