wanted to let you guys know some of those babies are not normals, they’re motleys! a tessera has to have a complete or almost complete stripe to be a tessera, so some of the babies that have mostly spots but a little bit of stripes are motleys. I’d recommend looking up the difference so you can see! They’re all beautiful though! Moonstone is definitely a keeper 😁
Came here to say this! Mom definitely looks like a motley rather than a tessera. Another key indicator of a motley is the plain white belly with no checkers. Tesseras can sometimes have plain bellies, but not always. Motley never has checkers, only a patternless belly. Tesseras also have more pattern on their sides usually. Still a great clutch! Edit: Also, I'm thinking there's a good chance the anery baby is what's called a pinstripe motley. Motley is a bit of a weird gene that varies a lot in expression.
I love how caring Emily is with animals and the way she tried her best to save the wasp was so wholesome 😭😭 (As someone who is deathly afraid of wasps, I approve)

Hi Emily, and Ed So many comments say yes to keep Moonstone, and all of her beautiful babies. And I agree, she is so pretty. And breed the babies, when they are old enough.❤🐍Cindy
Definitely keep Moonstone a couple of her babies. It makes the hatching videos even more fun & exciting to see such variety. Also, a lot of people get their first snake because they watch your videos. Hognose & ball pythons can be tough sometimes for beginners because they don't always eat well. Bull snakes don't always have the greatest personalities for beginners. Corn snakes though are usually good eaters with nice personalities and easy care, so they make great reptiles for beginners.
Ya'll should definitely keep Moonstone for future breeding. She's a gorgeous snake and I think she just proved she can produce some equally gorgeous babies. Very impressive clutch, considering you don't know who Dad is.
This summer is apparently the summer of the most beautiful corn snakes hatching lol. My girl laid eggs in May and they hatched in mid July. 4 albinos, 3 browns with really nice orange stripes. My boys are also around 10 so it's kinda funny seeing 2 of them be dads now 😂
Amazing how emily has changed my life. Everytime i make breakfast, i tapped my eggs on the counter, about to crack it open, i heard her voice:" yup, the goop is clear" and immediatelly i'm so excited to crack eggs. My day starts so energic only by cracking eggs! Thank you emily ❤
As far as Moonstone, I'd love to see her stay, maybe breed her for a just a couple of seasons bc of her age, and then the babies with all of her genetics can be raised up for the future! Plus she seems very calm and handlable and a good size to be a great ambassador!
Oh my gosh I can’t wait for more baby snakes this year🎉🎉🎉🎉 THEY ARE SO FLIPPING CUTE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Edit:Oh my gosh tysm this is the most likes I’ve ever gotten
Please keep Moonstone and several of her babies; they are so diverse and beautiful! I love the one with just the strip and the albinos and the gray one (can't spell the correct name 😂) and the snow and the normals are pretty too! What a great surprise clutch. This will probably be my favorite hatching video with all the surprises. I can't wait to see more of the babies
I watched this video while my two baby cornsnake girls where chilling out with me. You guys were the reason i got into reptiles, and here i am with 2 snakes, beardies, crested gecko a madagascan giant day gecko, and a few leopardgeckos! Even if i live faaaar away from you (in austria 😊) you had a hugeeee influence in my life! Thank you!
The anery tessera is stunning, I'm not usually a fan of grayscale snakes, but that one's gorgeous... perfect snake to name something like Quicksilver or Mercury, hahaha. Moonstone seems like a keeper to me!
Aww, Emily saving that wasp/hornet was sweet. Also I agree with everyone hoping you'll keep Moonstone and/or some of her babies! The genetics are so interesting.
Oh please please please keep Moonstone! Cornsnakes are one of my favorites and one of THE best snakes for beginners! I think on top of being a genetic powerhouse cornsnakes are usually amazingly calm as adults and could be amazing for programs too ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
This channel helped me get over my fear of snakes, and I am totally in love with corn snakes. I am waiting to have room and funds and a big enough enclosure for one. This is the clutch I was the most excited for.
I'm so glad you discovered them then, I never understood fear or aggression towards animals but I understand an accept that it's perfectly normal, I just love to see people come to see the beauty in life (sorry I'm a bit of a hippy being a pagan and all, specifically I'm a druid (among other traditions) but I'm sure anyone with a knowledge of pagan faiths would guess that with the whole connection to nature part)
Yeah, but I imagine a sting would hurt more. A bite from a baby snake rarely breaks the skin, and if it does only barely. The only pain comes from the teeth being sharp, the snakes they breed don't have any venom. Whereas a sting is specially designed to hurt and cause inflammation.
100% vote to keep Moonstone! 💜💜💜 I'm loving those racer-stripes on the babies! The one with the ribbon pattern was cute, but the one sitting in the dish was my favorite! SO ADORABLE!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love the stripey ones. I'm normally not into corn morphs, but moonstone did make some beautiful bbs. Also my fave thing is the random person in the parking lot as Emily's throwing out the wasp. The egg theme was cereal, i.e. the colored dots were fruity pebbles, the square ish one with lines cinnamon toast crunch. And ok but like...A snek playground sounds so cute.
Hey Emily. Mom is a motley pattern. The motley or stripe morph removes belly checkers while tessera corns have black belly checkers. Babies should be motleys! Congrats!
My own Corn is also a tessera. If you plan to breed them, you should be aware that for whatever reason having two copies of the tessera gene causes the embryo to not develop properly so if you pair two tesseras then on average 25 % of the eggs won't hatch.
They are all so cute. It is super hard to choose a favorite. But, I really like the blood red looking one. Great video, y'all. I am glad Moonstone found a new permanent home at Snake Discovery.
That was a wild variety of babies to pop out! Moonstone would be a nice addition but I'm also wondering if you'll be keeping some of her babies, there are some gorgeous ones in the clutch.
Obviously it’s up to you guys to make the decision and I trust that you’ll make the right call, but wow, please keep Moonstone if you can! This was such a beautiful, exciting clutch.
There's a breeder at one of the local expos who mostly does corn snake ans rat snake breeding who talks about how corn snakes are always a surprise to breed because they've been so popular for so long and have so many morphs, that, unless the snake is wild caught which he does not recommend, it's almost certainly het for a half a dozen traits.
Moonstone made such beautiful mystery babies! I think she'd really thrive with both of you. All of the babies were gorgeous but the anery is my favourite.

those were some VERY pretty babies! I hope you keep moonstone, outstanding work from her on those healthy eggs, it is a sad thing that one didn't make it, but that's just how the cookie crumbled. I hope to see how they grow up!
Omg. My very first reptile was an albino corn. He is 4 yrs old now. I lucked out and got a baby snow last year. Corns are my fav. I now have 2 ball python, 2 crested geckos, 1 beardy and a tortoise. Thanks snake discovery. I have been watching and learning off your vids. I love going to reptile shows. My daughter has a blue tongue skink and he has been a lot of fun. I honestly SCREAMED when i saw you hatched an anery! Anery is my favourite corn snake morph and i would LOVE to have one. But overall all the babies are super gorgeous and cute and i hope you will keep the mom!
(Friendly) I think you have a typo, I make that one all the time since I'm dyslexic and just use positioning to type instead of actually looking at the letters to avoid a headache. But yeah that's the mark of a true animal lover. Wasps get a pass from me if they are outside or easily captured (they are vital for the ecosystem, I wish they weren't but yeah) but even if I do unfortunately have to kill one I'm at least smart enough to stand at arms length with gloves on and use an implement to do it they can keep the 2-pentanol, 3-methyl-1-butanol, and 1-methylbutyl 3-methylbutanoate to themselves
@ConstantChaos1 I've been one to very carefully trap and release a bee, wasp, etc outside. I'll use a cup and a piece of paper. I'll wait for it to land on a flat surface, and slowly place the cup over it, then slide the paper under, and carefully carry it outside and let it go!
I absolutely love the anery corn snake morph. It looks gorgeous 😍 And I didn't realize until you pulled out the adult snow corn, but if the snow baby grows to look like him then I might change my opinion. It was a really fun clutch of eggs to watch hatch. I personally love the variety you got in this clutch. I'm excited about the variable snake hatching video as well. I want to see the difference in their patterns when they come out of the egg.
Moonstone is definitely a motley het snow and probably has more hidden genes. Tessera’s have more a ripped up side pattern and a thinner dorsal stripe. Definitely keep her for future breeding.

Ya'll should definitely keep Moonstone for future breeding. She's a gorgeous snake and I think she just proved she can produce some equally gorgeous babies. Very impressive clutch, considering you don't know who Dad is.
I have been watching Snake discovery for 3+ years and these are by far thee BEST eggs I have ever seen. Def keep Moonstone. 👌🐍
Starting a petition on here for you to keep the corns so you can breed them when they're ready 😂 🐍
I agree to this petition! Adding my name! 😃
I'll donate a Palmetto when I hatch some in a few years for this endeavor.

Moonstone is absolutely gorgeous. I think you should keep her. I love her colors.
they are all so pretty. the snow, the annery and the reds are my faves. I think you should definitely keep Moonstone.
This summer is apparently the summer of the most beautiful corn snakes hatching lol. My girl laid eggs in May and they hatched in mid July. 4 albinos, 3 browns with really nice orange stripes. My boys are also around 10 so it's kinda funny seeing 2 of them be dads now 😂
Happy for you my guy
Thats nice
Coooool
Could it be the heatwave? Maybe the extra warmth is making them extra gorgeous?
Congrats on the bebbeh noodles!
Hilarious! Goop for breakfast!
I love Emily cheerfully introducing the first baby snake to all of its siblings, especially the dead sibling
Moonstone has amazing morphs. You gotta keep her. This was soooo fun because we didn't know what to expect.🐍 Omg I love baby hatching videos!!!💜
As far as Moonstone, I'd love to see her stay, maybe breed her for a just a couple of seasons bc of her age, and then the babies with all of her genetics can be raised up for the future!
Plus she seems very calm and handlable and a good size to be a great ambassador!
“THERE’S NO TIME TO GO TO THE SHELF!” Is my favorite line ever 😂
Oh my gosh I can’t wait for more baby snakes this year🎉🎉🎉🎉 THEY ARE SO FLIPPING CUTE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Edit:Oh my gosh tysm this is the most likes I’ve ever gotten
SAME!
i want to hold the babies
Please keep Moonstone and several of her babies; they are so diverse and beautiful! I love the one with just the strip and the albinos and the gray one (can't spell the correct name 😂) and the snow and the normals are pretty too! What a great surprise clutch. This will probably be my favorite hatching video with all the surprises. I can't wait to see more of the babies
I love how excited you get. It's clear you really love them!
My favorite is ALL OF THEM!! I want one so badly. My vote is keep Moonstone. She gave you beautiful babies and deserves a forever home.❤❤
Aww, Emily saving that wasp/hornet was sweet. Also I agree with everyone hoping you'll keep Moonstone and/or some of her babies! The genetics are so interesting.
As a corn snake owner I loved this!!! Hope you keep Moonstone and maybe some of her babies 🥰
You said what I was thinking.
Shoutout to all the corn snake owners
10:04 “that might be a dead sibling😃😃😃” lol
Well it was true
I know this is about the adorable cornsnakes but I can't get over how absolutely cute the hognose baby is, bleping out of the box. 💖
Oh please please please keep Moonstone! Cornsnakes are one of my favorites and one of THE best snakes for beginners! I think on top of being a genetic powerhouse cornsnakes are usually amazingly calm as adults and could be amazing for programs too ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Back here again to rewatch since the babies are amazingly gorgeous!
Ed is such a mood 😭 “sting her! Sting her!” “And now he’s just dead on the ground out there” looolll 😭
Yup!
Ohhh what a incredible surprise this clutch was! This mom is an amazing snake with all these morphs, a great addition indeed.
these are my favorite kind of videos because no matter what the baby snakes look like they will always be adorable.
This channel helped me get over my fear of snakes, and I am totally in love with corn snakes.
I am waiting to have room and funds and a big enough enclosure for one.
This is the clutch I was the most excited for.
I'm so glad you discovered them then, I never understood fear or aggression towards animals but I understand an accept that it's perfectly normal, I just love to see people come to see the beauty in life (sorry I'm a bit of a hippy being a pagan and all, specifically I'm a druid (among other traditions) but I'm sure anyone with a knowledge of pagan faiths would guess that with the whole connection to nature part)
okie dokie.@@ConstantChaos1
Please keep moonstone, she deserves a lovely home after all the pretty babies she made
Cool video from 6 years ago
@@IWasNeverRealStuipid um, what? It's clearly recorded in the zoo which didn't exist that long ago.
@@Bonniethebunnythey could be talking about a video from the commenters channel
10:05 “so that might be a dead sibling” lol
Emily: is scared of being stung
Also Emily: laughs at being bitten by snakes on a daily basis😂
-
Also this was the cereal clutch i believe
Right? She's so sweet!!! I love her so much!!!
Milksnakes too
@@conlon4332what about the baby milk snakes 🐍
@@danalee5363 What about them?
100% vote to keep Moonstone! 💜💜💜
I'm loving those racer-stripes on the babies! The one with the ribbon pattern was cute, but the one sitting in the dish was my favorite! SO ADORABLE!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love how pink the lil snow baby is. The anaray is so pretty to!
all the babies are gorgeous!! You should totally keep Moonstone and give her the title "single mom of the year" 🤣🤣
I love the stripey ones.
Fun Fact: Wasps are the major pollinators for fig trees. They alsoo pollinate other trees as well, but are known particularly for figs.
Hey Emily. Mom is a motley pattern. The motley or stripe morph removes belly checkers while tessera corns have black belly checkers. Babies should be motleys! Congrats!
Moonstone could have easily been sold to the original owners or stated as a tessera on the surrender sheet
Can we appreciate the editors putting the small text? Its so funny and adorable at the same time😭
💍 💒 🎊 CONGRATULATIONS MICHEL AND WIFE 🎊 💒 💍!!!
That was such a cool surprise clutch. Loved every minute of it!!!
My own Corn is also a tessera. If you plan to breed them, you should be aware that for whatever reason having two copies of the tessera gene causes the embryo to not develop properly so if you pair two tesseras then on average 25 % of the eggs won't hatch.
So like how super spider ball pythons never make it out of the egg alive?
I wonder if that's what happened with the one egg they dissected.
Bump this! This is important information.
Oh, so it's lethal codominant instead of dominant.
Bump lol
I just love you guys. Emily just buzzes ❤ for those little snakes, so much energy! Look forward to watching mote videos. X
KEEP MOONSTONE! cornsnake babies in your store will be brilliant as they are the ideal first pet. especially all of the different morphs!
Obviously it’s up to you guys to make the decision and I trust that you’ll make the right call, but wow, please keep Moonstone if you can! This was such a beautiful, exciting clutch.
I hope you keep Moonstone! She's such a beauty, and I'd love to see her future clutches!
1:00 ,,DoNt HuRt mE CoMe hEre“😂😂😂
There's a breeder at one of the local expos who mostly does corn snake ans rat snake breeding who talks about how corn snakes are always a surprise to breed because they've been so popular for so long and have so many morphs, that, unless the snake is wild caught which he does not recommend, it's almost certainly het for a half a dozen traits.
Moonstone made such beautiful mystery babies! I think she'd really thrive with both of you. All of the babies were gorgeous but the anery is my favourite.
15:50 mention of variable king snakes. Ohhhh I can’t wait to see their hatch video. I love baby season. I’m going through all of the hatching videos again now and this is the first time I caught the reference to the variable kings. Yayyyy!
YES! Keep Moonstone! She's so adorable plus has amazing genetics!
those were some VERY pretty babies! I hope you keep moonstone, outstanding work from her on those healthy eggs, it is a sad thing that one didn't make it, but that's just how the cookie crumbled. I hope to see how they grow up!
Mazel tov to Michael!
Thank you for saving the wasp, Emily.
Also, my favorite was the first hatched - the feisty "normal". 😅
I am so excited to see baby corn snakes on your channel. Gotta be my favorite, well, until I find my first hog nose! ❤
So many beautiful and healthy babies, with so much variety! Definitely keep Moonstone! She is gorgeous!
one thing i love about the snake discovery channel is that nobody is cussing so my mom lets me watch it i love their channel and its so fun to watch all the little baby's come out and see what breeds they are thank you for these qualities also beautiful breeds🤪😄
Keep her! Moonstone needs to stay, she's beautiful and should be bred at least one more time!
I think it would be great to have some more corns on this channel, as they are one of the more type of snake, and owning a Noodle myself, I would love to keep an eye on how the cornsnakes do!
they should have some morph exercices before breeding more cornsnakes xD
@@clemencequillet1068they should what?
Yes you absolutely keep Moonstone. She is gorgeous!
I honestly SCREAMED when i saw you hatched an anery! Anery is my favourite corn snake morph and i would LOVE to have one. But overall all the babies are super gorgeous and cute and i hope you will keep the mom!
Thanks Emily for saving the wasp that obviously disnt want to be in there in the first place❤
Please keep us updated as you “feed up” Moonstone! She is gorgeous!
I’m so excited for the snake hatches this year, they are so cute!
I absolutely love the anery corn snake morph. It looks gorgeous 😍
And I didn't realize until you pulled out the adult snow corn, but if the snow baby grows to look like him then I might change my opinion.
It was a really fun clutch of eggs to watch hatch. I personally love the variety you got in this clutch. I'm excited about the variable snake hatching video as well. I want to see the difference in their patterns when they come out of the egg.
0:07 the wasp was like "I MUST PROTECT"
YESSS MORE BABIESSS! Im so happy its time for babies to hatch again 😭
I love the snow! I think you should keep them and breed in the future for sure! loved the many colors and morphs from Moon stone! 💜🐍
Especially if the snow is a female - you have the snow male to breed her to, unless there's a reason not to breed snow to snow
This is my favorite video. All those colors! I watch it every time it comes up on my watch this list! So cute😊
Moonstone is definitely a motley het snow and probably has more hidden genes. Tessera’s have more a ripped up side pattern and a thinner dorsal stripe. Definitely keep her for future breeding.
The fact that this video was posted 6 mi;utes ago and already 1500 views means you guys are doing a great job!
