Purchased my Bass Raider 10e a week ago… your video is absolutely what I was looking for! Thank you for the clear and concise instructions. Once I have a nice day I’m going to do this project myself!
You’re a genius. So simple but perfect. I wanted to build an all out casting deck but didn’t want to lose space saw your comment on another guys video and checked it out glad I did too thanks!
Great video, measurements are always a plus! I went a different route and just made a full sized deck in the front…but appreciate watching others ideas. Really smart!
Thanks! I have two decks I made this one and full front deck as well, it’s in one of my first videos. I like it but it’s a bit heavy so I made this one for lighter carry. I also like that I can easily convert this to a floor.
Just wondering why you didn't go the extra and put a rubber mat down before the floor to keep it from moving forward and back I have found that doing this the wood floor can also be cut a little wider as to fit a little bit tighter not that you did anything wrong I can appreciate your work and sharing the video just wanted to add something for you to think about later on I've seen floors that move a little and have wore holes in the boat
Thanks for your input. When I added the carpet to the wood it made it a tight fit so there’s no moving back and forth. If you try the mat let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching.
MaxCast Fishing Thanks Charlie! I did it so I can have more space to take my kids out. Now I think I can fit two of them with me and I’ll still have a casting deck!
Thanks for watching, I’m not sure if it would warp over time being on its side bud but academy has them stored like that and I haven’t seen any issues.
The exact upgrade Im planning on starting on this week. Im probably gonna go with the marine carpet unless I can find another color other than green. I'll definitely use those measurements you saved me a lot of it.e with this one
Arjectrick Waters Thanks for watching, I appreciate it! Good luck with the build let me know how it turns out. I found different color indoor outdoor carpet at Lowe’s, I just like the green so I got it lol.
I had. Thought in mind but not so much for a casting deck but as a place for another Seat ,would be simple enough to out a pedestal mount on that piece ,if you had two people who were Fishin with you just pull it out the front out ya pedestal in with the seat and boom, I have two grandsons ,that would definitely be a option if both Wanted To Rip some lips ,if only one just leave the floor piece in place , you could even use it to put a higher level pedestal on it ,hmmm 🤔,, Good job again ,you got the wheels turning,, Let's see some arroyo Flounder smashing from the Raider ,that would make a great video ,,,, , I like the Flounder Myself, one of the reasons I got the Raider , I have some Small Beach front canals that the Raider will be perfect for, can't get anything Else in them , Keep Ya Line Tight 🎣
Thanks Donnie, I'm sure you can put a pedestal on it but you'd need some bracing to make sure it doesn't brake. I have a full casting deck in one of my other videos and I love it but I wanted something suitable to take my kids out with me. The casting deck doesn't allow space for more than 2 people so I built this to take advantage of the whole 10 ft. I actually took my 3 kids out to Progreso lakes just to break in my 2.5hp Suzuki outboard. I took one chair and they sat on the floor, the bass raider did great, I love my new motor. Are you from the Valley? If so we should go out some time, my buddy also has a bass raider we've just been so busy with work lately I haven't been able to post videos or even go fishing much.
I haven't taken the bass raider out to arroyo because the areas to fish are 4 miles away from the boat ramp but I went to holly beach a month ago, got one bite but didn't get him on the boat.

Does the casting deck support your weight without flexing? I plan on making mine a foot longer since I don't need it to convert. Was unsure if I should add support below. Nice setup and thank you.
Thank you so much for the exact measurements...going to save me a lot of time! Can you tell me what type of glue you used for the carpet and how you applied it, do you feel like the glue is necessary?
Thanks for watching! I used carpet glue from Lowe’s don’t recall the brand but you apply it evenly to the plywood with a scraper. I used glue because if you don’t then the carpet bubbles up and it could be a tripping hazard. It wasn’t that much extra work and it was about $10.
How many sheets of 3/4 inch do you need to build this? Also with this build could you make a second cut for the back to have a second person stand on the back one?
Thanks for watching! I used one sheet. I cut the back floor on the 8 ft “longer side” of the board and cut the front floor on the 4 ft “shorter side” of the board. This allows you to use only one sheet. I’m sure you can do the same with the back but the middle floor will probably move around unless you put some Velcro to hold it in place.
I just purchased this little boat and your video with measurements was just what i needed.Thank for tutorial , quick and to the point.
Thanks for watching! Congratulations on your new boat!

Great video. Good job on breaking down the measurements for everyone. 🏆💙🏆 thanks for sharing.
No problem thanks for watching!
This floor is the best lay out Thanks
Glad you like it!
I was wondering why the 3/4" plywood... then BAM! That is a genius idea to make the front convert like that.
Thanks bud I appreciate you watching!
Could you make a deck all the way down on top of boat
BADD @$$ With The Floor To Deck Idea 🔥👏

It looks better with carpet, but I would prefer to paint the plywood black as it would be easier to keep clean.
Very clever! Great modification option for the bass Raider!

That turned out good man , I like the versatility, easy pop out in
Fishing_With_BIG-D Thanks bro! Yeah I can’t wait to try it out, I love that it converts so easily.
Got no where to store boat. You think I could store it on its side ?
Thanks for watching, I’m not sure if it would warp over time being on its side bud but academy has them stored like that and I haven’t seen any issues.
Question can I use a EverStart Lead Acid Marine Starting Battery, Group Size 24MS 12 Volt, 1000 MCA for my 62 trust trolling motor?
Nicely done
Thank you, I appreciate you watching!
Have you thought about getting a Bimini top?
I’ve seen them but I think it’ll get in the way of my casting.

RustyHook Thanks bro! I appreciate you watching! Did you get your kayak seat problem fixed?
I just put a foam seat cushion
Where tape of motor hp power you have?!?!
I have a 2.5 hp Suzuki outboard and a 45 lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor.

Two Passions Fishing thanks for watching bro!

@@dgalvan529 Np bro✌🏼
Adding the additional weight makes the boat less stable or more stable?
You’re definitely more stable on the floor than the deck but it’s not much weight added about 30lbs
Link for the carpet would appreciate it nice build

How much carpet should I buy ?
Hey thanks for watching! I bought 2.5 ft by 12 ft at Lowe’s they cut it for you.
Thank man.
Very nice build !!
