    Use high density spray foam to fill in between the ribs on the floor of the boat, shave level with the ribs using a knife.

    Hello sir
    I have a Raider too and did the floor like yours but without anything underneath the mats it was too squishy for my liking. I went to Lowe’s and got a sheet of that green styrofoam insulation looking stuff and cut that out and used it underneath the mats for a solid floor with no added weight. Just a thought and not telling anybody how to do it but just that it worked for me.
    Loved the wood ruler I was a pipe fitter for 15 plus years and we used to use them.

      Thnx. I may discover the same thing. If I do, your idea is a nice easy to cut, lightweight solution.

    You can't talk about an embarrassing boat flip and not show it. I didn't know it when I started watching but that's what I was watching floor. Is there any b-roll?
    Great video. I was worried about the squeeze out on the silicone, but it looks like it worked out on the face side. I'm passionately anti-silicone.
    Where's the dragon head going?

    Hi! You should take that black trim off and seal all the tacks! then put it back on!

      I thought of doing that but I saw one guy who did and had a devil of a time getting it back on. Seems the thing shrank. He had to leave in on the driveway in the sun to even begin to get it back on. So... not thinking I needed that kind of pain I opted not to do it. It is a good idea though, Just don't have the guts to see if he was right!

    Dan … You are really an inspiration!!! Later this spring, I see a boat of this type “coming on”!!! I can already see that I will be duplicating a lot of the things you are doing on your boat. Thanks for sharing!!! Please send Joyce my warmest regards!!! Until your next video and beyond, happy trails, best wishes, take care, be safe, and God bless!!! Right off the bat, no no and no. There is definitely adhesive between the two pieces... That piece of sudo rub rail is just covering where the two pieces come together.

      @CraftsmanontheLake  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I'm aware of that. Now the rub rail is also sealed. I wouldn't have taken apart the two halves to seal them on a new boat, but the seal isn't that great in many people's boats. Hence one area of filling up if left outdoors that people experience. I looked at mine and there was actually a gap where the seal didn't meet at the ends near the rear.

    GREAT JOB. IF I WAS YOU. I'D GET A THIN PVC SHEET AND LAY YOUR WHOLE FLOOR ON IT AND CUT OUT. THEN GLUE THEM TOGETHER AND PLACE IT ON THE FLOOR PVC DOWN. IT'S VERY LOTE AND REMOVES EASILY

      Good idea might be an option at some point. I’ll try this out first and see how it goes from there.
