I like how pretty it is for sure. I would have that thing pretty much covered in dirt, blood and weeds in about two trips. I didn't go with the wood floor due to weight issues for me loading and unloading but I imagine, it is super study and even more comfortable when standing to fish than mine. I hadn't seen this video prior to my other comment. Enjoy the Pelican and have a great season. Fish on Tackle Junky.
Awesome job, Jim! Been looking forward to this video. I've been apprehensive on using plywood for my Bassraider too. I will definitely go your route on the floor....looks darn tidy! Thanks!
Love my Olights and will definitely be getting the Baton 4. Just got the Warrior 3S in the Regal Blue color. This baby maxes at 2300 lumens and has a throw of 984ft!! Diggin’ the Pelican floor. You guys did an outstanding job!! Looking forward to a video showing you guys out on the water with the new floor.
Been trying to catch up on your videos. Sorry for falling behind, been busy and last track lol. Been wondering if you could do a review video on those Olights. Been thinking about buying a few.
I don’t know Jim, I keep thinking if I had the tin rig I’d just use that everywhere. Probably does skinny water well. I get the adventure but there’s a radical difference for me. All good stuff though!
I'd rather be in my Crestliner as well, but it would be very difficult to get in and out of the ponds. Last time I put my Tracker in those ponds I had to get a bobcat to get me out! Lol
I went that route but don’t like it. Every time I go to a particular local lake with a steep ramp where I load/unload the boat at a steep angle, the mat just slides all over the place.
Looks good now but what about keeping it clean from fish blood, and if you have mud on your shoes etc ? I live in South Carolina and we have red clay so it really shows up. If you get caught in the rain the water might warp it as well. Just speaking from experience otherwise you did a good job.
I expect it to get dirty...not to worried about that. As long as I don't use a pressure washer on it I'm thinking I'll be good. Appreciate you watching! 👊

The wood definitely added a bit more weight. Appreciate you and I hope you have a great season as well! 👊

Good video Jim good to see big Mike there with you🤛
Thank you brother! 👊
1/4 plywood is all you need. I used coroplast and EVA foam, 100% waterproof no sealing of wood.
That came out really nice. I’m going to have to do that on mine.👊👍💪🔥

Oh,ok!
Harbor Freight has some interlocking foam. Cut it to size and I was good. Cheap too
Right on! 👊
