Great videos!! I have the same combination o my 2021 GLI. An IE Downpipe with a Neuspeed Cat-back. Love the sound!!!!!. Loud when accelerating and tamed when cruising. The only problem is the CEL is on. What kind of spacer should i install to make sure it doesn't throw CEL?
Still loving the exhaust setup? I'm running Neuspeed cat-back and about to go IS38. On the fence about downpipe. I would enjoy the louder exhaust, but I'm concerned about drone. Have you found it is something you've gotten used to and naturally tune out, or is it something you notice but live with? Thanks!
Hey mate I just bought a MK6 GTI it had a downpipe cables full exhaust on it, completely stock other than rims. A little obnoxious I'm mow 46y.o not 21... anyway no drone at all drive normally it's quiet. Even my dad who is 74 made the same comment and he tunes cars the last 20 years and has always had modified cars my whole life. As an Aussie there's been no euro cars ever in our family. I have the first. Dad has a 78 Mazda 808 with an FJ20, my younger brother has a Holden Monaro 2001 (GTO) in the US big turbo fully self built both cars by my brother and dad. I'm lazy I'm 15.4k in so far I need an intercooler and tune and I'm hoping I can get near dads 808.. and I've spent nowhere near him. My brothers car is another story I'd really have to spend to get mean him.. still think I can get there quicker and cheaper
hey, have you ever experienced any fluttering on acceleration around 3k rpm? i just got the ie intake and inlet installed on my car w a jb1. noticed the fluttering on acceleration and seems to be something that others have experienced as well and idk if its nothing to worry abt or if its an issue
@@Chris-lo6mn yes, I did find a video of the promotion of this intake and in that video it almost makes a fluttering noise as well so I think it’s in the design of it

Will i be able to remove the old downpipe and install new one if I'm only using jackstand to lift the car?
Also, did you do intercooler and clutch too? Wasn’t sure if maybe I skipped over some parts of the vid and missed it or not.
No I’m still running oem on both of them, intercooler will be next then clutch at some point

Hey man I have a catless downpipe I put in about 4 months ago and I used the euro tuning O2 sensor and haven't had an issue! Hope that helps
@@tallkid226 is yours tuned?? Ppl say that it’s bad for your car and it runs bad. I plan to get ie dp but no tune yet because well,shits expensive!!
