My hack: when im hungry or when i just get a craving, i drink water AND i try to do something at the same time, so i look at TH-cam, instagram or just read a book but one of my favorite motivation quote is “the snack you’ve been craving for an hour or the body you’ve been craving for years?”
This. I’ve gotten a lot better at controlling my cravings and not giving in, especially with the help of fasting. I remember when I was losing weight in 2020, I kept giving in to these pre-cooked egg sandwiches and I would eat 1 or 2 of them in the middle of the night and it was so frustrating. Fast forward to now, I will salivate while watching random mukbang reels I come across but I will not give in. Character development 😂 anyways, that quote speaks volumes. I will be thinking about that now thanks ❤
1. Staying motivated 2. Portion control 3. Finding alternatives 4. Using a smaller plate 5. High volume foods 6.Water 7. Sharing 8. Sticking to a schedule 9. Don’t eat whilst standing up 10. Working out/ finding something you enjoy doing.
TIPS from my personal weight loss journey (almost 20KG of fat loss in 5 months !) : I came from the same situation : 89KG for 1,73M, very sedentary and ashamed of myself. I started taking things in control in July 2021. So far, in December 2021 I lost 15KG on the scale, plus muscle gain (since a major part of my workout schedule is musculation). I went from 89KG to 74KG in 5 month. The last thing I wanted was to diet and torture myself, because it has never worked for me before. What I did : - doing some fondamental research about nutrition - calling my new diet a "food rebalancing” = I didnt focus on calories. Only on getting all my nutrients AND NOTHING MORE - getting enough SLEEP : I realized that when I am tired, my body craves for junk food and forgets about balance - cutting off most processed food and junk (where you can find a huge amount of useless calories, sugar and toxins) - baking my own treats, choosing my portions and finding healthier alternatives (ex: crushed banana to replace sugar) - finding my personal balance between protein, carbs and fats - listing my favorite food in those three categories and making my meals around these => when my diet got really balanced and healthy, I realized I couldnt even reach my usual amount of calories ! I was always in a deficit BUT was still getting all the nutrients my body needed to feel energized and satiated. - speeding my metabolism : - drinking 2 to 3L of water a day - drinking teas and infusions - lowering coffee to 1 or two per day - first thing in the morning : having a lemon juice cut with water - chia seed with oatmeal and crushed banana (for sweetness) for breakfast - from time to time : ginger in my tea => eating healthy food and adding diuretic tips (lemon, tea, chia, ginger) was a true DETOX for me, and that is crucial : initially, your body makes body fat in order to protect your organs from toxins, its like a shield. SO draining the toxins tells your body he doesnt have to maintain this shield anymore => it can eventually release the fat ! Doing this I lost about 3KG in 15 days. - breaking sedentary lifestyle : - doing 6000 to 1000 step per day - stand up every hour to walk around my apartment, do some chores, make some tea... - planning at least one outing per day - WORKOUT !!!!!! - ask yourself which sport attracts you (me : Ive always loved water so I started to swim and then discovered aquabike, aquaboxing, aquagym etc. ; and I was fascinated by the world of boxing so I started boxing in a club) - dont kill yourself with cardio : it works short term for calorie loss, but musculation will help you lose more calories during AND after the workout (because muscle recovery takes energy to your body) - do a little bit of cardio for STAMINA => the more you have, the longer and harder youll be able to workout !! - make workout a part of your daily planning : dont be like "I know I HAVE to workout today so Ill do it when I have the time - probably at 10p.m.". Me : I decided to register to lessons in a club, so my workouts are proper outings (including socially !) and they are scheduled. - workout three to six times a week, with intensity and activity variations ! Me : I do boxing twice a week, have a dancing class, workout on weight machines with a group of women once a week, and end my week in a pool where I do a bit of aquabike and hydraulic massage !
Hello i just decided to start my journey today and while searching found the video and then your comment. It was really helpful to me cause I also don't want to refrain myself from eating all the great foods that God has gifted us. But i certainly do have my most liked and least liked foods so as you said I'm going to base my meals on them. Thank you~♡
@@donyam7905 taking a moment to list all the healthy food you love the most is key 🌹🌹🌹 It helps you remembering that some good stuff actually give you the same amount of satisfaction as processed food (for me : salmon, avocado, passion fruit etc.), and gives you the feeling that YOU are choosing your diet, instead of somebody telling you that you have to eat brocoli or quinoa or ginger etc. You control and choose what you eat. I know we don’t hear that a lot when it comes to « diet » but I think it’s essential to make you having fun when you eat and not make you feel like you’re punished or restrained or something !!
DISCIPLINE IS KEY. You can get motivated for a week or two, but consistency then becomes a problem, it is short term journey can't lie when we rely on motivation. discipline is the medicine we need to stay consistent
yeah, you can't rely on your motivation all the time to build a habit, and it's a lesson i learned really late. you can 'feel' like you don't want to go out for a run, but it needs to be approached as if it's something as habitual as brushing your teeth. if you can get yourself to get out of bed, brush your teeth and put on your jogging clothes and shoes and take that step out of the house without overthinking it and relying too much on what you feel like doing, that's when your approach changes. because anyone would prefer to stay in bed and not go out, if everyone relied solely on motivation then it would be really hard to form consistent habits. it's another thing if your body is telling you it's sore and tired, i think finding that balance in listening to your body and approaching exercise and other lifestyle changes without relying too heavily on motivation will have you set.
I know alot of people shit on weightloss , but weightloss for me and getting fit gave me the motivation for life again, I was overweight and depressed, I hated how I looked and how I felt. Losing weight gave me a new love for life.
@@minfires7572 take your time! motivation is overrated when it comes to weight loss because I had several fuck it moments during my weight loss too. All I can say is to be consistent when it comes to picking yourself up after bad days. never stop trying to eat better and move more but also remember that its ok to trip up once in a while as long as you pick yourself up by the boot straps and try again tomorrow :) Hope that helps, but so often people give up because they have a 0-100 mentality when life doesn't work that way cause shit happens. **also extra tips but if you live alone or are able to purchase your own groceries , don't keep any triggering binge foods, or if you can find for low calorie healthier options for your trigger foods even better! , at least until you get better at self control, and definitely take progress pictures and have one clothing item that you can use as a measure of progress because the scale is a scam for most people!**
Yes. Don't let the fat acceptence people tell you, losing weight is 'fatfobic' or anything like that. Or that the health problems are only correlations and being fat doesn't actually cause health problems. It does cause them, and imo it's borderline criminal to try to prevent people from losing weight in a healthy sustainable way. Sure, cancel the detox teas, k-pop diets, etcetera. Slow or moderate weightloss by replacing junk food with vegetables, or juices and sodas with sugarfree tea and water isn't a bad thing. It's a great thing, as long as you don't take it to an extreme. No cutting out all carbs or 500-cal diets.
I had someone where I work tell me to stop losing weight cause my face was looking gaunt. I'm still at least 30lbs overweight. I still plan on losing that mucb
I recently lost 23kg, I used to be 77kg but after 6 months of calorie deficit I dropped to 54kg and I couldn't be happier. My relationship with my body and food is so much better, I eat whatever I want but in moderation!
To anyone who's reading this: You are strong. You are beautiful. You are powerful. Remind yourself that working out is not a punishment for what you ate, but a celebration of what your body can do! I hope you have a fantastic day :))
@@erinshepard9093 well, ofcourse when you tell yourself “i have a sixpack” and “I have the body of a bodybuilder” it is not working without putting effort in it... but what she is trying to say is that you ARE strong, you ARE beautiful. Because those are things that happen from the inside, when you believe in it, and not things you have to work towards by saying: WHEN i have a sixpack, i would find myself beautiful, or WHEN I do 10 pushups I would be powerful and strong. No. Those are things from the inside.
I'm glad you're being real with people about how to lose weight sustainably. It took me a year and a half to lose 40 pounds, but I've kept it off and never felt like I was starving.

I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. thank you for your video it's time to make a change.
It’s so funny you said to watch TH-cam for motivation cause that’s literally what I’m doing rn with your video! I’m currently 29lbs down and struggling a little knowing I still have a long way to go so I’m constantly looking for motivation to help me out. Congrats on your weight loss!
Bouchra Guemmi thank you! Of course, i know this isn’t for everyone but I follow slimming world, not 100% I kinda use that for inspiration and do my own thing but I would recommend calorie counting. then I just do a 15-20 ish minute workout from TH-cam, I try to aim for everyday since I only do 15 minutes exercise but I’m not hard on myself and I do miss days sometimes. I usually do cardio or hiit or something full body just cause it makes me sweat more but any will do. Lily Sabri, EMI Wong and Chloe Ting are my main sources. I hope this helps, if you have anymore questions or need anything explaining in depth please ask :)
I am 23 yrs and I've started my journey. I was 77.3 kgs on Jan 14 and today on Feb 6 I measured myself I am 72.6 kgs. I'm so proud of myself and this time I'm gonna make it. The only 3 things I'm doing is Calories count Walking 15000 steps daily Water Water Water. My idle weight is 59 kg I hope I can make it.
The don’t eat while standing up is such a great tip that I’ve never heard of before! It’s so easy for me to do especially when cooking meals. I definitely plan on incorporating this into my life! Thank you! You’ve made amazing progress! Great video :)
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Revelation 3:15-18) you cannot live for this world and not try to stop sinning (being cold) and only believing in God(hot) without turning from sin or sinning and saying God will forgive you after or not read the Bible, pray, worship/obeying God. This is genuinely very heartening because I'm 62 kgs and my arms are very very fat (I cannot wear sleeveless anymore). When I saw ur before pictures and saw ur arms and then I saw ur arms while u were speaking, I was so happy to know that losing arm fat was actually possible!
Started my journey last week.. Currently (24/03/2021) i'm: Height: 159cm Weight: 74kg Will keep updating 💪 Update: It's (08/05/2021) Current weight: 69kg Still a long way to go but let's do it the healthy way 💪
I was 114kg three months ago and 105 now. What helped me is Intermittent fasting with calorie restriction to 1200-1400 calories per day. Goal weight is 70 kg
@@Ad-cv8uv Sure!!! I've lowered my sugar intake a lot - no more sugar in my tea/coffee, no more jam or Nutella on toast, no more fizzy drinks etc.. Drink 2L of water everyday. Take a minimum of 5,000 steps everyday but aim for 10,000 (try to walk everywhere and avoid public transport, driving, or taxis). I do a short yoga session in the evenings to help improve flexibility and strength. I've also started the NHS Couch 2 5K running plan which was super hard at first, but I've definitely felt fitter over the past month or so!
Also, can I just say I love how open you are about loving to eat lmao. So many influencers that give diet and fitness advice like to pretend they never have cravings and being skinny is a breeze for them, so its refreshing to hear someone who successfully lost the weight be honest about it.
Had started on July 11th, Weighed : 90 kilos/198.4 pounds. Just crossed August 11th, Weighing : 85 kilos/ 187.4 pounds. More than 5 kilos is not a sustainable weight loss guys. Slower the weight loss, sustainable it will be. Few tips I followed: 1. Completely cut off on white sugar. 2. Increased water intake. 3. Dinner before 8 PM. 4. Do not skip meals. 5. Only go for healthy options. Remember - Healthy is tasty too. 6. Go for a walk for an hour or so if you do not have time for gym or any other sort of exercise. My goal weight is : 55 kilos. Let's see where it goes. Thanks :)
A few years ago i walked for 30 minutes every day for 5 months and lost 16,7 Kg. No candy, Coca cola etc. or snacks(Popcorn etc.) :) P.S. No fast foods ofcourse.
In 2020 I lost about 12kg without diet i was eating very well and didn’t release I was losing weight I think it was cuz of fast food because what i was eating wasnt much but it was high calories when everything stopped in covid i lost the weight without trying i was so happy also the slower you lose is better cuz I lost tge wight in 8 months and still didn’t gain my goal is to lose 4-6 kg to be in the way I want and to feel better pray for me cuz I always struggle with losing so much
I identified myself so much, I’ve always been the tall and big girl (I’m 1,69cm) so I never bothered about my weight until recently, when my self esteem was at the bottom in the quarantine. I went to 80 kg!! So I decided to change healthily, changing my diet (smaller portions, doing exercises). I started in june with 80kg, now in February I’m 68,5kg, my waist and abdominal circumference are much much smaller. I also use videos on TH-cam as motivation, just like yours! Seeing other people loose weight healthily is the best
I'm 170cm and I went up to 77kg this year but I gained in my lower body, I got a looot of compliments that I look better. My normal bw ~ 66-67kgs and now I'm trying to lose body fat and tone my lower body. You can do it! I lost 2kg already it's been a month 💪🏾
i’ve been doing keto + intermittent fasting since the start of 2021 and i’ve lost 10lbs this month!! low carb is saving my life, it has completely helped me get out the constant snack cycle and i don’t constantly think about food since my blood sugar isn’t all over the place. i’m so excited and encouraged to keep going, you all can do it! so far i haven’t done much exercise other than my step goal everyday (7700 w/ my smart watch) and drinking water w/ lemon throughout the day. weighing everything you eat is so important and helps you track the exact calories, i got a cute pink kitchen scale and i use it everyday! consistency is so key, just keep your mind on the goal even if you fall off the wagon 😊
update 2/3 - i started a 24 day long pilates challenge w/ vids from lottie murphy! i'm on day 3 now and it feels good! i'm planning to add some other workouts in, maybe chloe ting since i hear good thing about her stuff!
Commenting to try and stay motivated! Been going for a few months now, it’s slow but I can definitely see progress. Start: 130 lbs / 59 kg 3 months in: 118 lbs / 53,5 kg Goal: 108 lbs / 50 kg Heyy it’s been six months I hit my goal in case anyone cares 👍
Hi guys! I'll keep coming back here every month to update my weightloss progress: Goal weight: 55 kgs Starting weight: 86 kgs - October 2022: I lost 3 kgs!!! I am now 83 kgs - after that I was depressed and put it all back and was back at 85 kgs again, on 22 march 2023 I started again and now on 22 may I am 78 kgs, I'll be updating monthly until I reach 55 kgs -update: 12 august 2023: I am now 73.5 kgs!
I just want to congratulate you on your weight loss journey. STARTING is hard enough, but to put it on youtube for the WORLD to see? INSPIRING. I'm also documenting my journey on my channel & seeing this MOTIVATES ME.
January 2018 is when i took my weight/health seriously too, and it all started when i randomly happened to look down on the scale and see the numbers - and I'm glad i did! Good for you too!
I’m always soooo sceptical with all weight loss, exercise, what I eat in a week videos because 90% of them are extremely unrealistic, use pictures of their bodies that are clearly photoshopped and show a lifestyle that isn’t true. But with this video it felt really genuine and honest. I actually feel more motivated now! Tysm for being realistic yet positive ❤️
You said it all! I lost 30 kg but gained about 3kg back (Christmas and New Years food) trying to get all the motivation I can to lose it and I found it!! Thank you. Will update you guys soon❤️
You go girl! That is incredible❤️!! &hahaha same, but holiday food is SO worth it😆. Once your back on track it does go though so DONT WORRY! Looking forward to your update!!!❤️🥰
I was 80kg in January 2020 and now I'm 86 kg February 2021 :/ (dealing with ED's for some time now and my weight goes up and downs so much since many years) just for telling you that slow weight loss is always the best in the end ! Losing 10kg in a year might seems too slow for you but I promise you that it is the best to prevent weight gain or disordered eating behaviors to develop ! Stay strong
I nearly bought a Dominoes tonight, but I used EVERYTHING in me to fight the temptation. I managed to cook myself something healthy instead of getting a Friday night takeaway, but because this was such a new decision for me, I actually have anxiety because Im not doing what feels familiar. Can anyone relate?
I used to be around 44-45kg, when quarantine came around, I gained a lot of weight and I am now 52.8kg. I keep regretting not working out and overeating during quarantine and I feel absolutely horrible about my body right now. Last week, I decided to start doing something about it. Since I’m still in school, I don’t have that much time to workout. I’m aiming to do at least ten minutes of cardio a day (and since I walk to school, I’ll have around 5-10k steps as well). I’m also going to start snacking less and replacing snacks with healthier options. It’s not much, but I am making an effort to get in better shape. I’ll record my weight here and I hope everyone can also follow along with my journey! Height: 160cm Weight: 52.8kg Goal: 47kg (starting off with a more attainable goal ^-^) Day 1: 52.8kg Day 2: 52.5kg Day 3: 52.5kg Day 4: off day, studying for finals Day 5: (walked 13.5k steps) Day 6: 52.5kg (went out so ate a bunch haha) Day 7: I forgot to weigh myself, but I did a ten min workout Day 8: 52.25kg (I got braces!) Day 9: gosh I ate a bunch of ice cream, the braces *hurt* Days 10-11: school finals, i worked out at least tens mins each day, but i just didnt weigh myself Day 12: 51.6kg (weighed in the morning so there might be a difference) Day 13-14: finals, I skipped these days cus ive been so tired Day 15: 51.25kg (weird it went down, but my guess is that I haven’t been eating anything cus braces) Instead of recording this day by day, I think I’m going to record it weekly instead! It just makes it easier to record even though I will still try to workout everyday. Week 1 (starting from where I left off): 51.5 makes sense bc as I started getting used to my braces, I was able to eat again. Week 2: next week :D
Good luck 🍀🍀🍀 I know this is an older video but I noticed this is a brand new comment. 14 hours ago. I'm 68kgs 5ft 6, but Im pregnant so I can't do anything right now except get some ideas 🍀🙏🤔😅 But best of luck to you though ❤️
@@spideyceo I think most of the time, it’s not that much about weight. I have really thick thighs which I hate, and weight is just a easy way to keep track of progress! I also used to be a synchronised swimmer and I’m looking to get back in shape before training starts again (the pandemic sucks). Thank you so much for the advice though, I get what you mean
I'm still on my weight loss journey and I like to watch video like this one to stay motivated by other's achievements and mainly because of their advices. Thank you for your video! it cleared my mind and gave me confidence as I'm on the right path, it was really useful!
Im glad you found it helpful!! Thats why I made the video and hearing this makes me so so happy!!!❤️😊 you have got this and keep me updated on your journey!!🥰
Some tips from my weight loss journey: -Snack on nuts, seeds (like chia seeds), fruit and yogurt. Make berry smoothies! Berries are low sugar/carb, low calorie. Can be expensive though so I prefer making frozen berry smoothies. Sometimes I add steel cut oats or quinoa or brown/purple rice to my smoothies as well as other veg, it helps to bulk them up. -Must drink 64oz water by 6pm, before dinner! so fills you up before dinner. And try to avoid eating/snacking after 9pm. -Snack on canned tuna or sardines or salmon etc in water or extra virgin olive oil. It has all the good fats (omega 3s) too! -Eat miracle noodles / konjac noodles / miracle tofu noodles or find another pasta alternative that’s low calorie like chickpea pasta (Banza) or quinoa and brown rice pasta (Ancient Harvest - my personal fav), kelp noodles (love), heart of palm noodles, tofu strip noodles! Note: These can be more expensive than regular pasta/rice though but you can find them cheaper if you buy in bulk! -Eat tons of tofu. Not the fried kind. But there’s so many yummy ways to eat tofu! -Canned beans are great. -Fermented foods like kimchi, ojingeojeot (fermented squid/octopus), pao cai, natto are amazing for you! Pickled daikon too. -If eating rice, always eat brown or purple rice (shell on) or sprouted rice. Quinoa is good too. -Steamed or roasted sweet potato / yam / ube! I eat this without additional oil but it’s up to you. -Make bone broth or homemade chicken stock, especially from chicken paws to make it extra gelatinous (more collagen). Drink often (almost as often as water). Drinking collagen peptides powder helps too but personally chicken stock just tastes better and is even better for you. -Workout classes to keep you accountable (if you need external accountability like I do 👍🏻) or a personal trainer are worth it. Can be expensive, but you CAN find deals. Like my gym membership is literally $6/mo in a super high cost of living city in California, I can attend unlimited workout classes, and there are often deals on personal training sessions, like 2 hours of personal training for $40-$50, especially around the holidays. Shop around and/or call different gyms on Black Friday or New Years to see what discounts they have, or have a friend/fam refer you. -Drink chia seed water or chia seed milk, it really really fills you up! Chia seeds can hold up to 27x their weight in water (make sure it’s soaked for maybe 20 min). But make sure to drink lots of water and don’t eat too much chia seeds bc they can also dehydrate you! But they bulk up as soluble fiber inside you and make you fuller, so a small amt is good especially if you need more fiber in your diet. -Challenge: For dessert, only eat dark chocolate and acai bowls. This may be hard for the sweet tooths but I only like dark chocolate so it’s easier for me.
Best weight loss video I have seen! Very realistic! My nutritionist told me healthy weight loss is about 2kg a month and had also suggested 3 meals, 2 snacks and to keep carbs IN because they keep you satiated! So you basically did it the right way 😁 so proud of you. You have inspired me 💪🏾 looking forward to your other videos
Thank you!🥰 hahaha makes me feel better hearing that my tips weren’t far off from a nutritionist’ ! Love that I could inspire you, you have got this!! x
Three meals and 2 snacks that's increasing insulin levels that's not correct most nutrients even after getting degrees are blind or trained to keep us coming back watch Dr Breg and Thomas Deluer on youtube good luck
thank u so much for the 2kg a month thing. i think im gonna follow that as a realistic goal cuz all i see are people loosing 10 kg in one sitting and i dont understand how its so fast for them. im going slow and steady and that seems like a really realistic goal
That sounds like a really healthy but also dedicated approach! I'm happy to hear a story where you didn't start by starving yourself but kept in mind that change takes time and a sustainable lifestyle! good for you!
this is probably the most honest weight lost video out there, also amazing advice i will def reccommend this video. also im in the motivation stage of the weight loss

Your voice is relaxing and i like that you dont rush your words. ive started my weightloss journey and i do agree with checking calorie consumption it does work.
I started my journey to a healthier lifestyle just 3 days ago. Everything you stated in this video is literally 100% accurate to my thoughts. This video is so helpful! I’m glad I’m not alone. Im excited to see where I am in 6 months ❤️ & a lifetime of change!!!
Hey Ecem, thank you so much for the advice. I was hoping you could do a more in-depth video on how you managed to tone and slim down your body (what exercises you done, did you calories count, did you have takeaways every once in a while etc). You look amazing, you’re body goals for me xxx
As a guy who lost 35kg in a year while gymming (now worked out for 2 years and completely transformed) and eating less per day, no sugar, more healthy this video is spot on! Well done!!!
I love the way you are promoting a healthy approach to weight loss! A lot of good tips in this video. I struggled with dairy/milkshake cravings. For me, the banana almond milk mixed with the unsweetened cashew milk was a game changer. It's filling and creamy and satisfied my craving while still being very low in calories and sugar.
This is literally what i wanted to hear oh my lordd i luv you for making this video !! - i lost 12 kgs last year and i tried my best to maintain it by exercising regularly and keeping track of what i eat and what so not and i did it till January 2022 but then academic pressure came along i had exams every month then regular tests so it all went gone i just sat all day long would eat sleep and duh literally no physical activities and boi now I've gained 4 kgs back which is making me feel more and more like sh!t I've been blaming myself for not staying on track and that leads me to binge eating like I'd not eat much during the day but at midnight I'll break down and will cry about that all day ! - I wonder why i never clicked on this video before seriously we still have 5 months until this year flies by so I'll be trying my best to achieve my goal !!! - i was 72 kgs in 2020 and i had been working on myself since august 2020 and i was 60 kgs in april 2021 everyone started appreciating me which was quite amazing but then i started feeling weired cause people will only like you if you fit in the set standards of beauty ? Oh man i felt like shit like i had never felt that bad in my life !!! But now i really wanna lose it for myself I can't sit this way i wanna fit in clothes i like i really wanna be free I'm tired of listening to everyone's bullsh!t I've been a punching bag for them for so so long it's been 3 frekin years I've been called names till this day i lost my confidence i couldn't go out and don't even take pictures anymore it's been hell and it all comes from my own family members that make me way sad ! Okayy now I'll definitely update after 3 months i know it's at least gonna take me 6 months cause i still have academic pressure but I'll try my best to chage my lifestyle lets not rush thing's instead of 3 I'll go for 6 moths ahhhh I'll do it thas ittt i hope i just don't die in the meantime 😭 🔪 - I'm 64kgs 5'2 - goal is to lose 15 kgs ( 50kgs ) Let's hope for 3-5 kgs reduction every month 😭 You all good luck as well ! ✨
Hey, don't worry about it. You will lose that 15 kg! I'm in the same situation. I'm 4'9 and used to weigh 67kg. I was so embarrassed and never felt like going outside bcos of how my clothes fit. I started my diet and workout but i would get lost at times and stopped diets and workouts in middle. Finally after two months I lost 8kg. Currently I'm 59. And i have a long journey to go. I wanna lose 13kgs more. 46-47 is my dream. Let's work hard on this together! Right now I'm not following any diets, but I'm controlling food intake and working out. I hope I'll be able to lose 13kg by October. And even if i won't be able to,i will keep going!!
I really dont want to go on a diet bcoz i know i cant be on a diet for lifetime🥲🥲🥲 ,,,,so I just want to ask that if I am eating homemade regular foods and doing workout for 1hr will be enough for me or not🤔 ??? i am 70kgs now and my goal is 50kg in 6 months😄😄 ,,,,,Can u give me some advice ??😊😊
@@piyu6770 Yes,you can lose weight without being on a diet. What you have to do is cut amount of food. LIke eat lesser than what you usually eat. And don't eat anything after 7pm. If possible try to eat fruits at night(before 7pm) and avoid SUGAR at all costs. Dont take in sugar. You can keep a cheat day in once in a month. Workout for 1-1 and half hours. And gradually when you will start to see results you will increase workout time. And also, don't do workout on specific areas. For eg only arm or leg workout. Do cardio/hiit for atleast 30minutes with workout for specific body areas. This will work. I lost some weight like this. So you will be able to do it! Don't give up and work hard!!
i keep coming back to this video to stay motivated, some of your tips have helped me immensly, from 85 kilos, i weigh now at 81 and i hope to reach my goal of 60 kilos soon!
Congrats to you and thank you for sharing. I’m 28 days into my weight loss journey and I’ve officially lost 10 lbs with a new program I found ❤️ more importantly, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a VERY long time☺️ feeling proud of myself.
Thank you for this video. I have watched so many weight loss videos and really felt so defeated. I like that you’re realistic in your goals which really make me feel motivated!
Ive been trying to lose weight for quite some time now but has been stunted at my current weight for a while without making much progress despite my effort. Im only 10kgs away from my goal, and seeing your video really helped with motivating me! Especially since I recognised that we come from a similar background of always having been the overweight friend, even starting my weightloss journey at 79kgs... Thank you so much for posting this! It was sososo useful!!
last time i watched this video was about a year ago and i was 63 kg and now im 54 kg it still far from my weight goal but this was the reason why i stayed motivated. thank you
Thank you for being so real. This video keeps me motivated. I lost nearly 20 kg in 7 months and still have 10 kg to go. I can relate to you so much. Thank you ☆☆☆Update it's now been 12 months and I lost 6 more kg and have not a lot to go anymore, but the weight lose is getting slower
Thank you for such kind words!! It means so much to me and Im glad I could be of some use! 😊❤️ & You have done AMAZING! Keep me updated on your journey! You’ve got this!!! X
I wish I would have seen this video before I started my weight loss journey. Thank you for all of the tips. I've definitely found that calorie counting and doing some exercise is the best way to lose weight. I wish I knew this before. I was addicted to junk food but feel happy knowing that healthier options out there taste good. :)
started my weight loss journey after watching this last week (recommended by my aunt who’s lost 18kg so far) and I’ve never felt so motived because this video is so real and doesn’t try to exploit unhealthy habits 😘
I started my weight loss journey back in July 2020, it is not easy and as im also disabled and cant move around a lot its taking ages. I do have support and now doing weight loss shakes on my channel and one meal a day but still im only loosing on average 1llb a week, I have tried every diet going but its so hard, you have done amazing. loved your video lots of advice and tips, x
Hi! I have the same goal as you and I was wondering if you wanted to be accountability buddies? Basically just check in on one another, motivate one another, updates etc. Let me know! x
I feel you and understand what your saving honestly I did something very similar to you! I started off at 79kg and my goal was 60kg and it took about a year and now 2ish years later I’m even at 56kg (I female and 170cm) I’m super happy I feel so much healthier. What really helped me was I increased my protein intake so I wasn’t as hungry and just making a meal That was pretty to eat with my eyes. And with certain foods making sure you have a lot of nice textures!
Yall my weight is over 70++kg watching this makes me feel motivated… I will do all this routine and will be back in 3 months for an update.. wish me luck guys😭❤️

I cannot stress enough how true your tip about finding alternatives is. Last year I lost 50 lbs and I attribute it almost entirely to that method. I actually started off trying to do keto but eventually just moulded it into my own personalised diet (because counting macros and measuring my ketones got tedious and annoying.) BUT, even though I didn't stick strictly to keto, discovering keto in the first place led me to discover sugar-free and low carb substitutes for nearly everything I crave. It allowed me to still have toast, chocolates and tea in the afternoon, Mexican food, burgers, ice cream, and all the foods that I love. The only difference was I bought different brands, but I could still eat those delicious foods. So once I got into the routine of it I barely even felt like I was on a diet. In contrast, whenever I tried to count calories before, I had no idea what to do besides cut out anything that was "unhealthy" or high calorie. So I ended up just cutting out everything I like and eating salads all the time (which gets old very quickly and is 100% not sustainable.)
The fact that I today stepped on a scale and found out I’m 79kg and I wanted to change and be healthy, so I started searching and you popped up. If you can do it, I can too.

TIPS from my personal weight loss journey (almost 20KG of fat loss in 5 months !) :
I came from the same situation : 89KG for 1,73M, very sedentary and ashamed of myself.
What I did :
- doing some fondamental research about nutrition
- calling my new diet a "food rebalancing” = I didnt focus on calories. Only on getting all my nutrients AND NOTHING MORE
- getting enough SLEEP : I realized that when I am tired, my body craves for junk food and forgets about balance
- cutting off most processed food and junk (where you can find a huge amount of useless calories, sugar and toxins)
- baking my own treats, choosing my portions and finding healthier alternatives (ex: crushed banana to replace sugar)
- finding my personal balance between protein, carbs and fats
- listing my favorite food in those three categories and making my meals around these
=> when my diet got really balanced and healthy, I realized I couldnt even reach my usual amount of calories ! I was always in a deficit BUT was still getting all the nutrients my body needed to feel energized and satiated.
- speeding my metabolism :
- drinking 2 to 3L of water a day
- drinking teas and infusions
- lowering coffee to 1 or two per day
- first thing in the morning : having a lemon juice cut with water
- chia seed with oatmeal and crushed banana (for sweetness) for breakfast
- from time to time : ginger in my tea
=> eating healthy food and adding diuretic tips (lemon, tea, chia, ginger) was a true DETOX for me, and that is crucial : initially, your body makes body fat in order to protect your organs from toxins, its like a shield. SO draining the toxins tells your body he doesnt have to maintain this shield anymore => it can eventually release the fat ! Doing this I lost about 3KG in 15 days.
- breaking sedentary lifestyle :
- doing 6000 to 1000 step per day
- stand up every hour to walk around my apartment, do some chores, make some tea...
- planning at least one outing per day
- WORKOUT !!!!!!
- ask yourself which sport attracts you (me : Ive always loved water so I started to swim and then discovered aquabike, aquaboxing, aquagym etc. ; and I was fascinated by the world of boxing so I started boxing in a club)
- dont kill yourself with cardio : it works short term for calorie loss, but musculation will help you lose more calories during AND after the workout (because muscle recovery takes energy to your body)
- do a little bit of cardio for STAMINA => the more you have, the longer and harder youll be able to workout !!
Hang in there! I will follow suit!
this is awesome! thanks for the tips:)
Read the whole thing. Thanks so much for sharing your tips.
I‘ll keep coming here to get motivation and keep y’all updated:

DISCIPLINE IS KEY. You can get motivated for a week or two, but consistency then becomes a problem, it is short term journey can't lie when we rely on motivation. discipline is the medicine we need to stay consistent
So true
Completely agree, ultimately your body will take you to the gym when you don't even want to. Discipline is key.
yeah, you can't rely on your motivation all the time to build a habit, and it's a lesson i learned really late. you can 'feel' like you don't want to go out for a run, but it needs to be approached as if it's something as habitual as brushing your teeth. if you can get yourself to get out of bed, brush your teeth and put on your jogging clothes and shoes and take that step out of the house without overthinking it and relying too much on what you feel like doing, that's when your approach changes. because anyone would prefer to stay in bed and not go out, if everyone relied solely on motivation then it would be really hard to form consistent habits. it's another thing if your body is telling you it's sore and tired, i think finding that balance in listening to your body and approaching exercise and other lifestyle changes without relying too heavily on motivation will have you set.
I know alot of people shit on weightloss , but weightloss for me and getting fit gave me the motivation for life again, I was overweight and depressed, I hated how I looked and how I felt.
Losing weight gave me a new love for life.
I felt the same!
I want to experience that! T_T Do u have any tips to stay motivated?

I’ve around the same stats could you tell me how you reduced those 7 kgs?
@@jess82384 Omg thank you! And I hope you reach your goal weight! ❤️
Also, can I just say I love how open you are about loving to eat lmao. So many influencers that give diet and fitness advice like to pretend they never have cravings and being skinny is a breeze for them, so its refreshing to hear someone who successfully lost the weight be honest about it.
Yes its really inspiring.
Few tips I followed:
In 2020 I lost about 12kg without diet i was eating very well and didn’t release I was losing weight I think it was cuz of fast food because what i was eating wasnt much but it was high calories when everything stopped in covid i lost the weight without trying i was so happy also the slower you lose is better cuz I lost tge wight in 8 months and still didn’t gain my goal is to lose 4-6 kg to be in the way I want and to feel better pray for me cuz I always struggle with losing so much
i love that you gave trigger warnings in the beggining
Wow nice 👍
update 2/3 - i started a 24 day long pilates challenge w/ vids from lottie murphy! i'm on day 3 now and it feels good! i'm planning to add some other workouts in, maybe chloe ting since i hear good thing about her stuff!

thats so good. As for me, I started my diet just this january 27,2022 and for 1week I already loss 2.7 kg. 💕 Keep doing great. 💖🥰

Go to abbie sharp . She gives amazing dietitian advice.also she's a registered dietitian
Height: 160cm
Weight: 52.8kg
Goal: 47kg (starting off with a more attainable goal ^-^)
Day 1: 52.8kg
Day 2: 52.5kg
Day 3: 52.5kg
Day 4: off day, studying for finals
Day 5: (walked 13.5k steps)
Day 6: 52.5kg (went out so ate a bunch haha)
Day 7: I forgot to weigh myself, but I did a ten min workout
Day 8: 52.25kg (I got braces!)
Day 9: gosh I ate a bunch of ice cream, the braces *hurt*
Days 10-11: school finals, i worked out at least tens mins each day, but i just
didnt weigh myself
Day 12: 51.6kg (weighed in the morning so there might be a difference)
Day 13-14: finals, I skipped these days cus ive been so tired
Day 15: 51.25kg (weird it went down, but my guess is that I haven’t been eating anything cus braces)
Instead of recording this day by day, I think I’m going to record it weekly instead! It just makes it easier to record even though I will still try to workout everyday.
Week 1 (starting from where I left off): 51.5 makes sense bc as I started getting used to my braces, I was able to eat again.
Week 2: next week :D
Good luck 🍀🍀🍀

this is so far the best video i've seen on weight loss- realistic, positive and motivating! thank you, you're lovely!!
Some tips from my weight loss journey:
-Snack on nuts, seeds (like chia seeds), fruit and yogurt.

Hey, don't worry about it. You will lose that 15 kg! I'm in the same situation. I'm 4'9 and used to weigh 67kg. I was so embarrassed and never felt like going outside bcos of how my clothes fit.

These are the best advice for a steady and sustainable weight loss!
Thanks for the tips! SO motivating, especially the no eating while standing up (because i`m currently at cooking school amd it`s easy to gain because of this !
much love
Sharing is caring and the small plate helps with portions if you only do one plate and don’t make a mountain of food, great advice.
I am so thankful that we have people like this who helps others and talks about there past experiences!💕
Thank u so much!!😁💗
This the most helpful video I’ve watched so far.
You are dear, informative, realistic and not annoying like many other TH-cam girls (too loud, too fake)..and also, you look great.
The fact that I today stepped on a scale and found out I’m 79kg and I wanted to change and be healthy, so I started searching and you popped up. If you can do it, I can too.
@@Ilydarsh Now that’s cool !
