Cedar Pointe is one of the best parks that alot of people do not know about. Only those that live in states near Cedar pointe knows about it. It's SOO much FUN!
This ride is smooth. My experience with "rough" coasters is to just sit in the front. I live next to Kennywood and they have alot of wooden tracks. I used to hate them b/c it was so shaky that it hurt. I noticed that when you sit as far up as possible, that there is no uncomfortable jerkiness at all. I wish I would have known this a long time ago! This coaster is great, though no matter where you sit. It's my fave at Cedar Point.
this is the best ride. i love the leg dangling, its the most open ride. and the sound the chain makes as its pulling you up the first hill makes me so nervous every time.

I waited 2 hours to ride this an the experience is still stuck in my head..I'm not a big rollercoaster fan but if u want THRILL..this is IT..I can't count how many times my stomach dropped or my heart almost jumped out my chest..it was a long ride I almost cried lmao

Top Thrill is amazing, but it's too short. If it had an inversion or lasted another 30 seconds or something like that, it'd be my favorite. Cedar Point is amazing as a whole.
I just got home from there! It was the BEST DAY EVER!!!!! my favorite was either the skyhawk or the mean streak! I didnt go on the dragster:( the stupid line was too long but after four hours, i can still feel the strange feeling of movememt u get on a rollercoaster!

I Went 2 cedar point twice this year May 22,2009 & September 6,2009 but when i rode the raptor with my teachers I was scared going up the hill but i rode it 3 times before and it was very fun, but when i went September 6, 2009 the raptor was closed and i was very mad!
@ricjan58 It's a inversion where basically you climb up a hill and twists 360 degrees and coming down. It's also called a Zero-G-Roll sense it's basically made to make the rides experience weightlessness (0G) while doing a 360 roll through the ride. On Raptor it's right after the loop.

Awesome coaster, the last time i rode that style coaster where your legs hang was Top Gun the Jet Coaster at Carowinds. Top Gun was pretty fun, the lift hill goes right over the parking lot below before going into a loop.
damn the park looked dead on that day...this is a must ride when u go to cedar point...especially since its right at the front gate...the zero g roll is awesome, the first drop is amazing, and the finally twisting beofre you head to the break run i forceful..i love that ride
Well that's cool..my b-day is in April. We're filling up a car with four people and taking a four hour drive down there. It'll only be my second time to Cedar Point; the first time was like five years ago, so I can't wait.
Yeah, its definitely like Batman: The Ride. Same moves and that silky smooth feel to it. And that roar the tracks make. I'm from Georgia so I've never been on this but I'm in Ohio now for college and totally plan on checking it out this summer.

wow you must have a really nice camera for the picture to be so clear! my videos always turn out jaggedy and yours are so crisp! When I lived in MI I always went to CP, but now I live in Miwaukee and I go to 6 Flags almost every week... Deja Vu is comparable, it's so much fun.
The only thing i hate about the Raptor is that at the end (when it slows down) your head hits the sides of the shoulder straps. Still a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet ride. Thx for the vid.

I rode this as my first roller coaster. If u r going to ride this don't be afraid it's not that long and the only scary part is like the first 15 seconds. The easiest ride in the park is the disaster transport because it's inside
this is the frist rollercoaster i've EVER went on. lol it is amazing and soo much fun. i was so nervous waiting in line, but i was so thrilled when i got off the ride because it was so fun. i would deffinetely recommend this roller coaster to go on at cedar point! just scream your lungs out..its not bad and a lot of fun :) good video too. how did you get it so steady?? lol
@stoopkid80 It depends on where you sit. The back seats id say is about 9 the middle and front is around 7. The reason for this is because the back whips you over all the turns and twists.

This coaster was the first one I have ever been on. It was last May, I was 17 and I loved this roller coaster.

i love the barrell roll I rode it 3 times and the lines are ridiculous

Front row is the only way to ride the Raptor. I think that, of all the rides in the park, this is the one worth the extra wait for the front.
