Firstly you should adjust it with the requirements based on the university word limit. But I'd say it's normally 800 - 1,000 words
Hello Askarina! Been binge-watching your YT videos on your Chevening journey. I just wanna ask since you went to LSE (since that is the University I intend to apply for), did you pay anything for your tuition there? Based on my research, the course fees for LSE are higher as compared to other universities. I have also read in Chevening that there is a cap for MBA courses, not sure though if it will apply to me but I guess not (since I am looking at International Relations as the field I would like to pursue). If ever I get accepted in LSE, will I be paying a certain amount that is beyond the cap, if there's any cap even? Thank you so much! Your vlogs are amazing and really informative!
Hi! As for what I paid, I only paid for my application fee for LSE. If you are applying for MSc or MA and get the Chevening scholarship, all tuition fee will be paid for. The cap is only for MBA

Hey. Do we have to write essays according to specific specialisations ? For instance , Sussex has gender , violence and conflict while LSE has gender media and culture. So I’m assuming we have to frame the SOPs according to the topic itself ? Also , you said you used the same essay for all the places you applied. So did those universities had gender and media and hence you could put the same essay ? Please help.
Hi, my answer is yes to your first question. I used 1 essay as a reference to customize the rest of the essays I were making for other programs and other universities. But I can only do that because I am applying for similar programs although not exactly the same I still can use the arguments.

Yes I did have volunteering experience though I didn't mention it on my essay. I think it will be important depending on how big that plays a part in your professional life.

Hi, honestly I think you should try to be as clear with your essay as if you're writing it to someone who is not from the same background as you. If your essay clearly show your study objective well, it shouldn't be a problem :)

Yes and no, if you have the requirements ready then go for it. I would say don't wait too long though because it is very competitive. I applied in December a couple of months after they opened.
