- this is the personal statement that got me into king’s college london for my masters / postgraduate course - i'm studying a MA in medical ethics and law. i thought i’d read my personal statement out-loud to you so you can see what i wrote and how i structured it. i’m sharing this purely in the hopes that it’ll help you write your own, so please don’t copy what i’ve written. personal statements are designed to be all about you and your experiences so you’ll get so much further writing about you! hope this helps. good luck if you're writing your personal statement atm. i'll see you on Wednesday for a week in my life…!

Easily the best letter of motivation I've ever read. It is far away from all sorts of cliches, so easy to read and written brilliantly... Reading the writings of actual native speakers is really refreshing. Thank you for the helpful content and forgive me for stealing some of that excellent language in that letter :D lol

Hi I am currently applying for an MSc in HR Management and Organisational Analysis. I got an overall 63% so 2% short. Although I have work experiences as an assistant manager and an HR internship. Do you think I might stand a chance to get in? 😅
Did you have to title the paragraphs of your personal statement? King's has mentioned that for the course I'm interested in (MA Digital Culture) and I'm wondering if it means titles like "introduction/academic interests/professional experience/etc" or a creative title based on the content...

Hello Chelsea. Im a LLM student at Kings.
Please tell me how to go about doing the essential readings for modules. We have been asked to read books for each chapters of the module. For instance under the chapter Sale of Goods under the trade and shipping module, a 600 page book is an essential reading, Do i read the whole book or how do I go about it.
Normally as you start the course they’ll give you weekly reading lists so wait until you have that. You won’t be reading 600 pages in one go but you might get a chapter of the book each week so over the year you’ve read it.

Does a personal statement contain the address of the sender and the reader????

No, an address isn't required because your SOP is to be submitted along with your master's application which already has all your details.
