Thank you very much for this fantastic video, Flo! I would be so super interested in hearing some more advice about your personal statement. I always struggle with this part. If you were interested in sharing some structure tips, I’m sure many of us would be happy to learn from you!
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, my thesis kept me really busy… will try to make one but it’s exam season so can’t promise anything! I can send u my PS though if you think that helps :)
Hi Flo, thank you so much for replying! Fingers crossed for your thesis and exams. Of course, take your time with the video; whenever you do find the time, the internet will be waiting :D. I am actually writing my PS right now and have to submit it in the next couple of days. If you were able to send me your PS that would truly be a huge help; thank you so much for your offer! I’m still really struggling with the structure and I think reading a cohesive PS would really help me to put my story together. I would deeply appreciate taking a look at the way you structured your past experiences and tied it to the master. 😊😊
Just add me on linked in at Florian Veil, then I can send it!
@@floveil570 thank you so much!
I think this video is really insightful and your editing is pretty cool. I appreciate this.
I want to know more about the GRE because I have seen programmes that I want to get into at London Unis saying that it is not required, since this is the case should I not bother to do the GRE?
The course at LSE I want to apply to is Financial Mathematics.
Thanks for the feedback! I think it depends: If you can optionally submit a GRE score (for most programs) and you think you would be able to ace the test and make it an asset, then you could go for it. However, I would ONLY do this if I thought my grades might not be high enough in relevant subjects. If they are though, then they will already reflect your quantitative/academic abilities, and there's barely any point in spending a good amount of time on an uncertain GRE outcome. Rather make sure everything else is on point ;)
Hey Thankyou so much for sharing such useful video..I will be grateful if you could share your personal statement as i am applying for LSE.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, just message me on linked in at Florian Veil :)
Hi Flo! Thank you so much for your content. It was really useful. I was wondering If I could have a look at your PS? It would mean the world to me.
Thanks! Just add me on linked in and I can send it there!
Hey! I'm applying to MSc in Applied Social Data Science with a background in Theoretical Economics, and this is just the video that I was looking for-very informative! If possible, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to have a closer look on your SoP...

@@floveil570 Unfortunately, I haven't used my Instagram since 2018... I tried to sign in but Insta doesn't find it. I guess my deactivated account is lost. But I use LinkedIn instead... Found your account there, and sent you a connection request. I'll be in touch there. Thanks btw

@@floveil570 Hey, I plan on applying to the Msc MISDI program next year. Can I shoot you a DM about this as well? Thank you
Hey! i want to pursue sociology at LSE for masters, but i am doing my undergrad in chemistry, so can i change my course and get admission at LSE?
Hey! Since I neither switched my subject in my masters nor applied to sociology I frankly have no idea. I‘d recommend you to look at the application requirements online or contact someone from the sociology department directly :)
Hey bro, I've decided to apply to economics and management, i wonder if you're willing to review my personal statement
Hi! I don't review personal statements, but I can send you the one I got in with if that helps you. Just lmk :)
Hey! How long after you applied did you get a response?
Hi! I got a response almost exactly 1 month after my submission. I know that for other people it took much longer though. My theory is that because I applied quite late and most others much earlier, the process went faster for me... just a guess however :)
@@floveil570hey! Omg thank you. So I just got in (yay) I wanted to also ask how long does it take to get your funding details back? Like what scholarships you got etc
@@floveil570hey, I will apply in a few days. Is it okay? When should I expect a response from LSE?🥺
@@floveil570when have you applied and were you able to complete all the formalities by Aug?
Congrats! I only applied to scholarships from the German government which are external and didn’t apply for LSE ones, so don’t know about the funding feedback
