Glad you and Teka had a great holiday in Brazil. Just giving us a taste of your trip was enough for me. Those fish you caught were interesting, especially the hat fish 😜I wish the water at my local beach was a clear as those in Brazil. Until the next adventure, best wishes.
What a great break away vacation you and Teka had! As always, the food looked so delicious, and the music was energizing! Hope you both enjoyed yourselves!
I have recently really appreciated Acai as a fruit. There are a few Vegan/Smoothie places in New England that now have Acai as a food item. I was recently bummed out to learn that the 1st Brazilian restaurant anywhere near me went bankrupt after 4 months (opened January & closed May 1st). :o( They had PASTELS & cans of Guarana.
@@ShaunandTeka I agree! I was slowly going through the menu trying as many items as I could. It was just in a bad location for a restaurant. It was surrounded by lumber yards and warehouses. One wouldn't think to look for a restaurant near "industrial" stores.
All the while, here in southern Brazil, cloudy it raining weather for the last 3 days, 4 degrees temperature in Porto Alegre yesterday... Winter is arriving 😢
Looks like it was fun. Nice of you to feed your little "friend", coitado. Every Scottish person I know has a sweet tooth! 🙂 What's the name of the feijoada balls? Probably could find a recipe on the internet
Hi, if you want to see someone speaking in Portuguese. I'm from Brazil, and just to make it clear, we don't know how to speak Spanish, English and Portuguese are taught at school. I will say: "Venha visitar o Brasil, país bom demais, tem um pequeno país em cada estado, nós temos várias linhagens de vários países, inclusive eu tenho descendência de italianos e judeus". Come visit us, we are very receptive and we have several different climates, if you want to stay in a cold place, go to the south, and if you want to go to a warm place, go to the north, our seasons are different and our country has a bit of culture from different countries including ours, which is very diverse.

Hi, i'm from Brazil, i will help you. Feijoada balls It's actually called kibbeh. It's a ball of ground beef, with cheese inside and baked. In Brazil we don't speak Spanish, but Portuguese and English, not everywhere has samba,I don't like samba or football. We also don't have original Brazilians, anyone found on the street is a Brazilian, because our country has been visited and populated by many countries, we are varied. Portugal colonized us but did not prevent the visit and residence of several foreigners. Our country doesn't just have forests, in fact, each state has its own climate and forest, like several countries united into one, each one has its typical food, typical fruit, music liked by the majority of the population, typical culture, and much more. Venha conhecer o verdadeiro Brasil, não o esteriótipo que as pessoas tem sobre nós. Brazil has 27 states, and 27 cultures and 27 climates, in each climate, a small "country" that makes up our country. Viva ao Brasil!🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Brazil is not tropical, is subtropical, maybe 25C all year and jungle coexist with pine forrests, ... Repair how you are untanned, OK, that for a british is really hot, but the real tropical is Mexico or Paraguay, 50C at sumer, you would die...😂😂
Hi, i'm from Brazil. My country has different climates, where I live it is 40°C almost every day. On hot days it is 50°C. And here there is not only forest, in the center there is a lot of livestock farming, in the center-west 80% of the native forest has been deforested to plant soybeans, corn, sorghum and much more, in addition to raising livestock. I live in a city with 2.5 million inhabitants, there is no forest in the middle, we wear very short and light clothes because of the weather. For your misinformation, my country is divided into different climates, if you search on the internet, you will find everything
🇧🇷 Simplesmente Espetacular!! Sejam sempre bem vindos ao Brasil

Hi Teka!
Hello 😊
Shaun, do you speak any Portuguese? I do not 🙂 Do you think someone can get by in Brazil for a few days, speaking little if any Portuguese? 🙂
