It's funny to see Gringos who traveled to Rio, São Paulo and Salvador say they traveled to Brazil. Brazil is a giant country, they didn't know the South, nor the North, nor the West and they didn't know the Northeast either. But they give travel tips about Brazil. Know that Brazil is much more than what you saw 😅
Eu concordo até certo ponto, mas RJ continua sendo Brasil. É normal fazer viagens pontuais, porque é assim que os cronogramas são planejados: você vai para esse lugar e em tantos dias você tem isso, aquilo e aquilo outro pra fazer dentro desse tempo; depois disso você pega o avião de volta. Se eu, por exemplo, tivesse 7 dias para explorar Portugal, eu planejaria meu cronograma nas cidades que conheço por serem famosas, que são Lisboa e Porto, apenas. É um país menor que o Brasil, mas meu cronograma não me permite explorar nada além do que já é cartão postal do país.
@flpReges entendo sua opinião e respeito, mas se vc viajasse para Portugal e visitasse essas cidades que vc citou, veria que a cultura portuguesa é praticamente uma só, de norte a sul do país, com pequenas variações na comida. Já no Brasil, se dividíssemos o território em 4 partes, teríamos praticamente 4 países diferentes, com tradições, costumes e cultura diferentes. Diferente dos EUA ou Canadá, que também são grandes, o Brasil pode ser comparado com a Índia em termos de diferença de costumes e cultura regional.

Stumbled across this video. I really enjoyed it! I would love to go to a game when I visit later this month but am concerned on the safest way to get home from a night game at the Maracana. Any tips? I am staying in Copa a block from the beach.
Thank you! We wound up going to the game with an agency called “Follow Me Brazilian Football Experience”. You can find them on Instagram at @followmebrxp. They picked us up at our hotel at Copacabana, provided the tickets to the game, escorted us into the stadium and let us know where we could sit (seating was open within a certain section). We met them after the match at a location inside the stadium and they escorted us a few blocks to where the shuttle was waiting to return us to our hotel. There were probably about 15 in our group in total. It was a much easier option for us than trying to navigate the streets or subway system on our own. Hope that helps!

Sure, happy to help. Our itinerary was pretty simple - 4 nights in Rio at Porto Bay, one night in Iguassu Falls outside the national park and then three nights at the Belmond Cataratas inside the park. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Did you take any organized tours or did you do everything yourself? Did you at anytime feel unsafe in Rio? I’m feeling a bit nervous as I’m hearing stories about how dangerous it can be. Thank you!
Hello there! We are planning a trip to Rio and was watching your video. For the handgliding experience, did you book it from Canada or did you just do a walk-in?
There's no need to book these boats ahead of time (in fact, I'm not even sure if they do take reservations). There's a continuous loop of vehicles driving guests down to the boat dock and a boat leaves every 20 minutes or so. I'd say wait for a good weather day and then just show up.
