#678: have Mr. MXYPYLK (or however you spell it) turn it into a giant steak, all in a realm he created. Then, have krypto the super dog eat it, crap it out, and let a bunch of decomposes finish him off. Then turn the planet into a giant nuclear bomb, and detonate it. From there suck the alternate world into a black hole and don't look back.
The trouble with Doomsday as a character is that when he peaked early, the only place he really had to go was down. Him and Bane were both introduced to beat down/kill/drive sales for superman and batman. Bane would never get back to his peak of beating batman, but he did manage to gain some depth and interest by his strength AND mind being factors, his venom being a gimmick to exploit, and his intelligence providing him some room for more noble tendencies made him interesting even when he couldn't repeat what happened in his first go. The problem with Doomsday is that his peak was so high (killing superman) that anything after that was just a step down. Any depth or strength after that is superfluous, because then everyone just starts asking, "So why can't he kill superman even easier now?" DD might be an unstoppable killer, but in most adaptations and expansions afterwards, they can't find anything to stick with the character because his first achievement was just too lasting.
I enjoy what superman and lois did with the character by just making him another form of bizarro, and it kind of makes sense when considering they both have cloning as apart of their origins traditionally, although S&L bizarro isn't a clone of superman, also managing to make him a more interesting character by simply being an extension of bizarro, a fairly interesting and fun character, while carrying over all the things that made him cool, like being a giant monster and reviving with immunity to what killed him before. It also hypes him up even more since he's basically just a stronger form of bizarro, who's already superman's equal, with none of the weaknesses. I wouldn't mind if this was adapted into other adaptations and even the comics, with doomsday being less of a individual character, which he already barely was, but a form bizarro or any other kryptonian can evolve into.
Instead of sending him into space, they should have just thrown the coffin into a huge star. Even if he did wake up, he can't fly, and there would be nowhere to go. If the sun killed him and he regenerated back to life, there would still be nothing to do. He would just exist forever in the star. Forever alone.
Rich l williams They have. But for whatever reason or another, the Phantom Zone is a dimension barely studied & understood by the Kryptonians, therefore it's proximity to the tangible universe can move closer and the barriers dividing the Phantom Zone & real world get weaker at certain times than others. Thus, it's possible to break out like Zod has done on many occasions. Doomsday instinctively knows when to make his break from any containment scenario. He's actually incredibly intelligent, he just doesn't channel that advanced IQ into communication so we tend to underestimate him when he's in fact incredibly smart in ways we can't perceive.

At 7 years old it was my first comic as well. Given to me by my babysitter's son. 22 years later its the only thing that far from my past that I have still.
What always amazes me is how when they have finally captured any super dangerous villain, they just randomly throw it out in space, or at the bottom of the sea or whatever so that they no longer have control over the containment. That sounds smart. Any sane person would keep that trap monitored 24/7.
Actually shooting it out into space is a great idea. After all, if it’s on your planet there is a chance it breaks out and destroys your planet. IRL there is a near infinitesimal chance that a probe shot out into deep space will ever collide with a planet, much less a habitable one. If it does collide with something, it’s much more likely to be a star. More likely it floats in space for millions of years on end, occasionally passing through a star’s gravitational field and getting slung back out into space. Maybe it eventually gets grabbed by a very big star which is strong enough to actually put it into orbit. That increases the collision risk with the star’s planets, but such stars don’t live long enough to develop complex life (as we know it) on their planets. Eventually it gets ejected by a supernova/the star dies and loses mass so the probe reaches escape velocity. So the cycle repeats.
***** Very well put! I actually never knew that, but I've been a huge fan of DBZ and Superman since I was a child. Now those similarities make a ton of sense!
Doomsday could fit well into the Man of Steel cinematic lore, I think. Krypton had been using genetic engineering for centuries, and had discovered numerous worlds in their age of expansion, as Jor'El claims. It’s implied Krypton’s different castes received different enhancements befit their particular station. What if Doomsday was one of old Krypton’s first attempts at engineering a soldier, gone horribly right? Under a red sun, Kryptonians were just like humans; everyone’s roughly on the same playing field with some deviance. Doomsday could’ve been superhuman among Kryptonians. Imagine how dangerous he would be. So they launched him into space, or abandoned him in an old facility on a faraway planet, or something. Doomsday could be the ultimate reminder to Superman of his alien nature.
***** I have to agree. With how dark the DC-verse is, I think Doomsday would be a perfect choice to throw in there at some point. Ties in really well for what we saw of Krypton in that first movie to think that they could and would create something like Doomsday. Then just throw it away into space or wherever once they realized the danger. If you want a monster that could be a threat and fit the tone of those movies he might just be the perfect choice. Plus they could probably pull it off now.
+FlareKnight It would be just like the new Godzilla film; he's on screen for all of ten minutes, and the rest of the 2 hours you can't get back would be Clark and what's-her-face doing their taxes or some other boring thing no one cares about. So, no, there shouldn't be another Superman movie.
For those of you wondering: Doomsday's endurance comes from both his evolution and his absorption of energy, usually through star radiation. All forms of kryptonite effect and hurt him but cannot kill him. He is also vulnerable to all magic. And finally, anything he has been exposed to that he hasn't evolved to become immune to can kill him. E.g. Imperiux's energy blasts incinerated him.
Hold on. Hold the fuck on... If Doomsday cant fly, then why does Superman even have a problem with him? All Sup has to do is stay out of reach. If Doomsday lunges, just move aside and let him lunge past. Doomsday cant fly thus, he cant re-direct his angles in the mist of a leap. Tie a rope to his big grey ugly ass and sling shot him out past Pluto and let him drift away into infinity. He Cant Fly. He wouldn't be able to fly himself back to earth.
There's nothing to break out of in space. Do you realize how much space and time there is between earth and the center star of Orion Belt? He would drift for light years.
He can still jump really high. But my thought on this is that if he can't fly superman could fly to the sun, get power and come back just as strong as him.
Logic and real world science don't matter in the world of comic books. If he gets sent off into space, realistically it would be billions or trillions of years (depending on how fast he's going) before he lands on a new planet outside of our solar system. But since outer space in the comic book world is a bunch of bull, Doomsday would probably crash land on some made up planet within a couple months and then use a super jump to go back to Earth for revenge.
Nate Patterson LoL! That's right!! A "super jump" and he's back on earth. Yeah, its a comic and it was made to sell so it has to stay just out of reach of reality in the first place. "Super jump", LoL!!!
+RossRFCFan what about the white hair and red eyes what about the bone protrusions all over his body What about he's supposed to be the ultimate life form created on krypton millions of years ago and has caused havoc right across the star what about the fact he kills superman.. i don't see doomsday i see a fucking bulllshit excuse.
***** you basically just repeated me, and we already know where he comes from what we'v seen from the trailers, his origins in fucked for ever and he's not epic enough in this
The thing is that Hulk takes time to build up his anger. Doomsday is going 100% all the time. So, while Bruce Banner is turning into the Hulk Doomsday would pounce on him. Also, Hulk has shown he has a conscience at time. Doomsday doesn't whatsoever have one. Which in turn tips the scale in Doomsday favor.
+bugman bugman It's not that he's despised, as over-exposed. Superman and Batman have had so many television shows, comic books, video games and merchandise dedicated to them that it makes your eyes bleed. People are so tired of the same old thing, and want 'new' heroes to fawn over. It's part of why Guardians of the Galaxy is so well-received.
I think its possible to make a solo villain films. Alot of them are actually more interesting than the hero. Deathstroke, Doomsday, Prof. Zoom, The Joker, Black Adam, Mr. Freeze, are a few that come to mind.
Dunno if you still care now, but Black Adam and Deadshot are actually gonna get theirs. This is years in the DCEU's future though, so keep yourself healthy so you won't die before it happens.
***** this guy now seems to me more like the _space version_ of some green android organic being made by a mad scientist, with the hability to regerante himself and get stronger just like other alien race with a tail... ringing any bells yet XD?
If Doomsday killed all the deadly creatures on prehistoric krypton, doesn't that mean he in some way inadvertently created the kryptonian humanoid race? He may have allowed the humanoids to evolve in a less harsh world, much in the same way how the dinosaurs were killed off, and made a way for us. I'm starting to think doomsday is reason the dinosaurs went extinct.
You don't stop Doomsday. The Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, both of whom have similar capabilities to Batman, were hospitalized by the beast. In Blue Beetle's case, Doomsday took him out with one hand tied behind his back, literally. Doomsday also hospitalized Guy Gardner, a former GL, Fire, who uses, well, fire, Ice, who uses, well, ice, Maxima, an Almaracan warrior, and Bloodwynd, who draws upon the souls of the dead to achieve incredible feats, similar in scope to Superman's.
This reminded me. I have all of the Death and Return of Superman comics, but I never got too far after it. I never did see how exactly superman got his ever-growing powers under control. I have one issue where he was fighting Parasite and I think was going to let him drain his powers, but of course it didn't end in the issue I have.
Dam right doomsday’s a unstoppable monster and that’s why he’s one of the best and most powerful things ever and his origin is why he’s unstoppable because his power is adaptability and that’s the most powerful thing ever😄😄😄😄😎😎😎😎😊👍🏻!!!
the movie should have went with this with doomsday already buried on earth instead of that dumb shit with lex luthor throwing some blood on zod's dead face and creating doomsday.
I disagree if they used the comic origin in the context of the movie it would be with most forced plot device since the last fifteen minutes of Fant4stic
+Michael Martin If they went with a failed attempt to recreate Zod, I would find it more believable if the "Kryptonian Deformity" was something like Bizarro. To me, it makes no sense why a botched replication/hybridization experiment with Zod's body would add Doomsday's advanced powers of regeneration and adaptation. Unless the movie's Doomsday somehow retained some of Zod's memories, it also does not give a reason for Doomsday to be so homicidal, unlike the comics where he had clear and tragic reasons to hate all life around him (and if he did have Zod's memories, then it would mean they are not really fighting Doomsday as a separate character, just Zod again who just has upgraded powers and looks like Doomsday). Plus, given Lex Luthor's xenophobia towards aliens and meta-humans established in the previous scenes, I thought it would make more sense if he created a villain like Metallo to fight Superman as his Plan B, rather than Doomsday, an alien far more powerful and unpredictable than Superman. So I agree with the other person that they should have used Doomsday's comic book origin. I also feel they should have saved the death of Superman until much later in Superman's career, after WB earned the emotional investment and Superman's status as humanity's beacon of truth, justice, and the American way, needed to bring that storyline to its full potential.
Soo....Doomsday vs The Hulk? Doomsday is constantly evolving, but the Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets, and since Doomsday can never really die, Hulk would keep getting angrier and angrier and not being able to defeat his opponent
Eventually the Hulk would kill Doomsday, when he(DD) finally reaches his physical strength limit, and then DD would revive and evolve and this would continue to happen, it would most likely be a circle that doesn't stop. And universes would collapse xD
HeartlessXx Possibly, but not definitely, The Hulk DOES have quite a large healing factor AND gets stronger as time goes on, it would essentially be a stalemate truth be told at least not totally one sided
HeartlessXx Wat? I'm not fanboying at all, I don't like or dislike the hulk, or Doomsday, I'm being realisitic. I'm saying the universe would end before one kills the other permanently. The Hulk currently has no known physical limit, and his power continues to increase as he gets angrier and angrier, which not being able to beat DD would contribute too, to the point where he could finally kill DD, but DD would evolve and be immune to that much force again, to which the hulk would surpass again, and this would continue, till the sheer impact of their punches would distort time and space around them.. I'm saying neither would win, and the universe would be destroyed around them long before a winner is determined...
This topic again. Fanboys yell at each other but the truth is this fight would never end. The stronger Doomsday gets, the angrier the Hulk will get, making him stronger. The Hulk cant be killed, his regenerating factor is too powerful any wounds he receives heal almost immediately. The Hulk, is, immortal. Eventually the Hulk will kill Doomsday, then Doomsday will return and will be stronger then the Hulk, the Hulk will then get stronger but won't be able to kill Doomsday again.
while Bane was known for being the man who broke Batman and injured killer croc, Doomsday was known for being the monster who murdered Superman and severely injuring and instilling fear in Darkseid
How the fuck does Smallville doomsday look so much better and accurate, than BVS doomsday? Which looks like a fucking teenage mutant ninja turtle Lol.. Warner Brothers hold this L
You have to admit, his buildup was perfect, and so was the payoff. Several issues of Superman ending with that fist pounding on that metal. Nobody knew what was going on, and then... Doomsday broke out and was just a menace. However, as other commenters have brought up, Doomsday peaked too early. Where do you go from after killing Supes? Like, really. Everyone knows he's a galactic threat, but... where do you go with him afterwards?
***** naw i think batman wont they even said that he almost took out a civilization who where way more advance then earth how will batman take him out?
Rafael Lopez Not really. While superman has always had his immense powers, Goku started out as pretty weak. The entire premise of DBZ is basically about becoming stronger and stronger to defeat your powerful enemies.
Makes sense one ouch kills him comes back two punches kill him comes back and so on and so on he’s basically immortal to a pout but that point it’s lost in space
They leave out the fact that doomsday gained sentience and in order for Superman to come back to life, he made them strip his intelligence(which he became a good guy and was better than Superman himself)
As a comic fan I have really slipped in my readings, I knew Doomsday was powerful but didn't know he was this powerful! Wow, thanks for the origin WatchMojo.
So his is basically DC's version of the hulk albeit in villain form. Since both are to be forces of rage and just keep coming back stronger than before.
doomsday would have been good for his own movie BvS crammed way to much into it Death of Superman storyline would have been infinitely more impactful if DC took it time building its universe.
Superman didn't come back to live by returning from the afterlife. This as far as the comics goes what just what his father experienced while in a coma. Superman came back as was never really dead his body just went into such a low state of recovery it appeared he was dead, this is why the Eradicator was still able to use his body too take his powers and pretend to be him.
Sean Mounts Hate to burst your bubble my friends, but dead peoples hair does not grow ;-) The matrix wasn't for healing per sa, the eradicator used it to extract what was left of Supermans powers. Which is why he had none after. But was able to heal from a state which for a human is "death" but not a Kryptonian.
No, just like most other comic heroes and villains, he was given a brand new backstory. Since it had nothing to do with the backstory of the Doomsday in this video it could not possibly have been butchered.
Brain Stem Soup The brand new backstory the movie gave him was terrible. A clone of Lex Luthor's and General Zod's DNA? Dull, oversimplified and nonsensical much?
+Masked Guy It's not, but it is true. Come on it could have been so much worse. I mean they made him kryptonian in a semi realistic way and lex using his dna was just typical lex ego. It's a hit and a miss but it could have been so much worse.
What are you guys, nuts? Noone says Batman will beat Doomsday in a fist fight, stop trolling. We know Doomsday is stronger than superman. But how is that gonna stop Batman? He's beat Darkseid, who is almost as powerful as Doomsday AND 100 times as smart as him. Doomsday only weakness is actually that he is literally mindless, he is just dumb. That might not seem a big problem for someone who is nearly undestructable but for Batman, who's the genius strategist it is a big difference. Batman vs Doomsday would be mind over brute strenght, that's all. Batman would simply find a way to defeat or contain him like that aliens did, that's how he would win.
I think many people who watched this are ignoring the fact that Doomsday does not need to "die" in order to evolve. For example, when Superman used a sonic pulse device on Doomsday, Doomsday closed his ear canals. Another example is when Doomsday discovered Martian Manhunter's weakness and, suddenly, was able to breath fire. This means that if Dr. Manhattan were to transport Doomsday to the core of a star or the center of a black hole, since those would not actually kill him, Doomsday would eventually become strong enough to break free of the immense gravity, as well as become immune to Dr. Manhattan's teleportation (i.e. through quantum entanglement of his molecules, etc.).
Dr. Manhattan would be able to disintegrate him 'til he doesn't longer exist. But he's not on the same universe so, yeah, they are more Screwed than Screwattack.
I really have always appreciated how Doomsday makes sense. Unlike very nearly all other hero and villains, the all consuming force was given the necessary time and means by which to be reincarnated after death, many millions of times over. Evolution is amazing, looks at us - Doomsday could be the fruit of such science.
I know I'm necroing. But his evolution, is the same as any superpower or monster made by evolving. It cheats. Real evolution does not create infinite gains in stats. It only rearranges the existing and limited 'stats' into a more suitable combination for a creature's environment.
+Martin Daskalov Possibly. I'm no comic expert, but if I were to guess, he might be afraid that won't be enough to completely destroy him. To kill Doomsday for good, I think you need to basically completely obliterate him and all his cells so he doesn't regenerate. If the sun isn't enough to do that, then not only will Doomsday regenerate, but he'll become immune to the sun's heat and become even stronger.
In all honestly, if DC had writers who were creative enough to utilize the Flash's full powers, he could destroy Doomsday in about 12 attoseconds. DC has to depower the Flash, because he would be insanely overpowered if they made use of his true power. The same goes for the Reverse Flash, who could easily take out every super hero (aside from the Flash) on Earth in an instant if the writers allowed it.
+Defx10 How? The Flash is fast AF, but Doomsday is fast enough to catch him. He's also resistant enough to tank pretty much anything the Flash can throw at him.
Matthijs Noyce Ummm, no. That argument is absurd. Doomsday is not fast enough to catch the Flash, if the Flash is moving at his true speed. The Flash can perceive events that happen at less than attosecond and has run at 13 trillion times the speed of light. The Flash could scramble Doomsday's brain before Doomsday even had a chance to register a thought.
+Defx10 The feat that states he moved at 13 trillion times the speed of light is based on a comic in which it flat out states that he was moving slower than the speed of light.
Matthijs Noyce Which only means that the writers suck at math. Also, when Flash took out Zum (who is on par with Kryptonians) with the Infinite Mass Punch, he said that he could hit him with it 1,000 times before he had a chance to blink. The fact that the Flash has used the IMP just one time is testament to the DC writers' inability to make use of the Flash's powers and the need to de-power him. How do you stop a guy who can travel faster than light and strike people with the force of a white dwarf star 1000 times before they've had a chance to blink? You don't.
+Defx10 Except that Superman has used the Infinite Mass Punch. And Doomsday is many times stronger than Superman. From the very start Doomsday ripped his way through the entire Justice League, including Maximus and Wonder Woman, before stalemating Superman. In their second encounter Superman vastly outdid Superman, despite Superman using an arsenal of new weapons. After that, Doomsday only grew more powerful. Once he held off the entire Superman family, although he was eventually defeated. He has defeated dozens of kryptonians, and one-shot Darkseid. It took an entire city of Kryptonians to mob him to death, and they lost many in the process. Considering that Superman can move at 13 million times the speed of light, and Doomsday can easily blitz him? Or that Doomsday shrugs off Superman's punches with ease, even those moving many times the speed of light? Doomsday isn't just some big, tough villain. He's the biggest, toughest villain. His feat of stalemating Superman is literally the least impressive feat he's ever had. Also, he could just spontaneously gain the ability to create slippery surfaces or something. I mean, he gained the ability to breathe fire to defeat Martian Manhunter. As well as the ability to hit incorporeal entities (somehow) collapse energy fields, siphon superpowers, shoot his spikes like harpoons, and a whole laundry list of things he just kind of learned to do mid-fight. Pre-crisis style.
They missed out the part that after the Radiant beat doomsday the first time, he regenerated, came back, and tore Radiant in half (which he was able to do because he was now stronger and completely immune to Radiants energy).
I never realized how much Doomsday's origin had in common with Ultron's. Both tales of artificially-created intelligence coming back to bite us. He's just an organic version who isn't made of adamantium, filled with a nuclear furnace, or. He DID kill Superman though. So that's something. I don't expect Ultron to kill any of the Avengers in the upcoming movie (at least not in any permanent, canon sort of way).

Doomsday could be the ultimate reminder to Superman of his alien nature.
***** Didn't superman get "Infected" an start to turn into a Doomsday Species
***** I have to agree. With how dark the DC-verse is, I think Doomsday would be a perfect choice to throw in there at some point. Ties in really well for what we saw of Krypton in that first movie to think that they could and would create something like Doomsday. Then just throw it away into space or wherever once they realized the danger.
If you want a monster that could be a threat and fit the tone of those movies he might just be the perfect choice. Plus they could probably pull it off now.
The studios would find a way to frack it up.
G
Basically enhanced Extremophilia.
They already tried that and what happened? He broke out and kicked ass
2:32 not the birdy why
+Lonewolfz Gaming - Hatred of ANY and ALL life
I love how Superman gets weak at night. I mean...just fly to another place on the planet, bro...there's more sun. :'-D
MrOmniblast He reminds me of a sunflower they both get energy from photosynthesis pretty much.
1LIFEtoWIN Haha! So do humans, though! :) We undergo a similar process to make vitamin D.
So...leave Metropolis to the JLA (who couldn't take him down with combined force, might i add)?
DremYolLok He could take Doomsday with him. Or better yet cut out the middleman and take him straight to the sun. :)
Michael Edmunds Considering Doomsday is Kryptonian, that wouldn't help.
@ 2:30 "Toriyama! No! You died before your time!"
Caleb Ueckert lmao
I wonder when people will learn that depiction of doomsday in BVS is gonna be like his earliest from. His appearance will change as he evolves.
+RossRFCFan what about the white hair and red eyes
what about the bone protrusions all over his body
What about he's supposed to be the ultimate life form created on krypton millions of years ago and has caused havoc right across the star
what about the fact he kills superman..
i don't see doomsday i see a fucking bulllshit excuse.
***** you basically just repeated me, and we already know where he comes from what we'v seen from the trailers, his origins in fucked for ever and he's not epic enough in this
+RossRFCFan How do you feel now knowing that WAS his final form?
They sent this guy to the end of time itself into Entropy and he still came back!
OK, he didn't die,.. He just went to a healing coma,.. :))
Haha yeah...what a load of bullshit that was.
Zeng Vuh same thing happened to superman
Superman stomps Goku nuff said
The thing is that Hulk takes time to build up his anger.
Doomsday doesn't have unlimited strenght as hulk. The angrier the hulk gets the stronger he gets.
My fave villain. The creepiest. So unstoppable. Love it
Welp, people are now coming here cause of the movie.
Fun fact: Booster Gold was the first person in the death of Superman to refer to the creature as "Doomsday"
Superman seems to be a really despised character these days. It really kind of hard to watch.
IKR?
+bugman bugman It's not that he's despised, as over-exposed. Superman and Batman have had so many television shows, comic books, video games and merchandise dedicated to them that it makes your eyes bleed. People are so tired of the same old thing, and want 'new' heroes to fawn over. It's part of why Guardians of the Galaxy is so well-received.
+Dylan Staats hmm good point.
Dylan Staats well, I don't see anyone having much of a problem with batman or deadpool for that reason
+bugman bugman probably because they like those characters alot more.
Thanks for the video!
thank you for this refresher course
I think that's what makes him a good villain. A memorable foe is one that you find yourself agreeing with or sympathizing with.
I freaking love doomsday ,he is one of those villains who are unstopable force he comes back stronger than ever .
Created using alien technology and a cloning prosses to become the Ultimate Life form.... sounds like a certain black and red hedgehog I know
***** "Where's that damn fourth chaos emerald?"
***** but doomsday came before shadow
bill moon never said he didn't
***** this guy now seems to me more like the _space version_ of some green android organic being made by a mad scientist, with the hability to regerante himself and get stronger just like other alien race with a tail... ringing any bells yet XD?
+sonicblaster33 tooedgy4me
man awesoem vids, im sitting here watching them all.
Can't believe he had such a small part in the new movie! They could have made an epic film with Doomsday as the main villain. Bastard!
You're very smart
Sarcastic point proven
now thats one badass mutherfucker
***** sorry but no one here says no shite
no we dont i have no idea why you think we say shite lol
***** Yeah we pretty much use it like "sugar" to kinda make it less offensive. We don't use it regularly.
If they'll make a Man of Steel 2,I want this Bad Ass to be the villain.
Keep up the good work on these videos!! :)
Superman's worst enemy, indeed. Doomsday is the Mewtwo of supervillains.
When Doomsday walks all that awaits is death.
supervillian origins: superboy prime
They should really use him for a justice league movie, they'd finally get the chance to show just how powerful he is!
Great video
My favorite Supervillain. Right here.
lord can we get a doomsday movie i want to watch superman get his ass beat again
Superman/Doomsday. Epic first half, failure of the second
Death of Superman
"The only foe to kill Superman"? What about Zack Snyder and David Goyer?
bitchslaped :D
they resurrected Superman from mediocrity, he is relevant again
snyder confirmed that the BvS monster wasn't the actual doomsday and that the real one is out there
Dam right doomsday’s a unstoppable monster and that’s why he’s one of the best and most powerful things ever and his origin is why he’s unstoppable because his power is adaptability and that’s the most powerful thing ever😄😄😄😄😎😎😎😎😊👍🏻!!!
the movie should have went with this with doomsday already buried on earth instead of that dumb shit with lex luthor throwing some blood on zod's dead face and creating doomsday.
Agreed, this new Doomsday origin was . . . . yeah, horrendous
+Joseph Moore Or the reanimation of Zod gone wrong - though I agree with you - NOT with "Luthor's" blood contaminating the process
I disagree if they used the comic origin in the context of the movie it would be with most forced plot device since the last fifteen minutes of Fant4stic
+Michael Martin
If they went with a failed attempt to recreate Zod, I would find it more believable if the "Kryptonian Deformity" was something like Bizarro.
I also feel they should have saved the death of Superman until much later in Superman's career, after WB earned the emotional investment and Superman's status as humanity's beacon of truth, justice, and the American way, needed to bring that storyline to its full potential.
shut up your fucke bou
They should make a story of where dooms day was never created but lived his life as if he was never experimented on
Soo....Doomsday vs The Hulk? Doomsday is constantly evolving, but the Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets, and since Doomsday can never really die, Hulk would keep getting angrier and angrier and not being able to defeat his opponent
Eventually the Hulk would kill Doomsday, when he(DD) finally reaches his physical strength limit, and then DD would revive and evolve and this would continue to happen, it would most likely be a circle that doesn't stop. And universes would collapse xD
HeartlessXx
Possibly, but not definitely, The Hulk DOES have quite a large healing factor AND gets stronger as time goes on, it would essentially be a stalemate truth be told at least not totally one sided
Yeah, I say the fight between the 2 is even and would never end. That makes me a fanboy.....dumbass. I actually don't really like either of them.
while Bane was known for being the man who broke Batman and injured killer croc, Doomsday was known for being the monster who murdered Superman and severely injuring and instilling fear in Darkseid
WatchMojo have come a long way.
imagine if doomsday got impregnated by a face hugger and a xenomorph doomsday was born....
lol. I don't think it would be able to chest burst Doomsday.
+Marco Evangelista go sit down you fucking killjoy
oh my....
Marco Evangelista but the xenomorph version would be much stronger then him and push through his tissue with ease
HEART BR3AK! We would be doomed
How the fuck does Smallville doomsday look so much better and accurate, than BVS doomsday? Which looks like a fucking teenage mutant ninja turtle Lol.. Warner Brothers hold this L
Maybe it's just the first form in BvS
Skeptic s Let's hope that's true but either way I'm still seeing the film. I'm just not as excited to see it, as I was before.
+Charles Baylor i hope its wraith ratter than doomsday.they could fucked up his story
+Charles Baylor pbs.twimg.com/media/CVa492QWUAICbXz.png
+Charles Baylor smallville doomsday looks like shit and BvS doomsday is just growing and adapting at this point in the DCCU
I got the 90´s Doomsday origins magazine and Bane origins. They are among the best comics I read from DC.
Supervillain Origins: ONslaught!
Batman could kill Doomsday. Because he's Batman
LOL Good one
***** naw i think batman wont they even said that he almost took out a civilization who where way more advance then earth how will batman take him out?
Not funny man batman get destroyed lol
Batman solos DBU
Funny convos always start with batman can beat superman.
very good the information
being a comic book reader these are so cool
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS SHIT DOOMSDAY VS HULK
And hulk is dead.
UGGH DON'T REMIND ME DX
I kinda knew Doomsday would win.
Winged BluJ yeah but i wanted Hulk to win ;(
And I wanted Scout to win.
he's just a complete ball of anger. watch out doom guy, i think doomsday is even angrier. wait... doom guy.... dooms...day. Doom. Must play Doom.
LOL
I see what you did thur
Which episode of Justice league cartoon does he fight them when they are earring the different costumes?
Favorite comic book character
So basically he's a super saiyan except he can't die.
Rafael Lopez Superman came long before Dbz came or even DB. also Brainiac
Rafael Lopez Even Doomsday came before Majin buu, so if it is something, DB ripped off dc lol
plontulublalulu except super saiyan is higher quality, along with dbz, compared to this piece of shit and the universe he's from lol.
Rafael Lopez Not really. While superman has always had his immense powers, Goku started out as pretty weak. The entire premise of DBZ is basically about becoming stronger and stronger to defeat your powerful enemies.
Doomsday can't fly.
OPM fanboys be like: "He can beat him with one punch."
Please, whoever Doomsday is killed by, he becomes immune to them.
Makes sense one ouch kills him comes back two punches kill him comes back and so on and so on he’s basically immortal to a pout but that point it’s lost in space
Ok, what is the song that plays in the background for this video? I gotta know, it's so awesome!
Smallvile's Doomsday makes me sad...
His origin is a cartoonist started drawing him on a piece of paper.
Thanks!
So his is basically DC's version of the hulk albeit in villain form. Since both are to be forces of rage and just keep coming back stronger than before.
doomsday came first
lekan adams Hulk 1962
Doomsday 1992
There's a differences.
Hulk gets stronger as he gets angrier.
Doomsday has to be defected to get stronger.
lekan adams LOL Hulk came out 30 years before this dude. lol
wrong….hulks not stronger than thanos
doomsday is a lot stronger than darkseid and darkseid is a hell of a lot more powerful than thanos
doomsday would have been good for his own movie BvS crammed way to much into it Death of Superman storyline would have been infinitely more impactful if DC took it time building its universe.
I loved the story arc that Doomsday had with Kog.
Doomsday is just Stupidly Overpowered, it’s amazing Superman didn’t die again when he gave him again
Doomsday is so OP,if his evolution keeps happening he might go from fictional to real life character
How to "kill" doomsday, if E=MC² then convert that fucker into pure energy. Problem solved.
Do videos about villain vs villain rivalries
My favourite DC villain EVER!!!
Yeah, that's right. Ppl say he came back but he was just in a coma
Sean Mounts Within the context of the story and intended plot they can.
Sean Mounts Superman did die period. But fans stared crying and bitching so they had to bring him back.
kyle lunarioum Actually, it was there intention to bring him back from the start. They knew the reaction would create sales and publicity.
DAWN OF JUSTICE completely butchered Doomsday's backstory.
No, just like most other comic heroes and villains, he was given a brand new backstory. Since it had nothing to do with the backstory of the Doomsday in this video it could not possibly have been butchered.
Brain Stem Soup
The brand new backstory the movie gave him was terrible. A clone of Lex Luthor's and General Zod's DNA? Dull, oversimplified and nonsensical much?
Well it's better than nipples on batman or an inconvenient cellophane "S" isn't it..
Brain Stem Soup
That shouldn't be the standard though.
+Masked Guy It's not, but it is true. Come on it could have been so much worse. I mean they made him kryptonian in a semi realistic way and lex using his dna was just typical lex ego. It's a hit and a miss but it could have been so much worse.
This is awsome
that smallville epidode was epic
Batman can take him....
no.. he cant
batman got his back broken by bane who is not even close to be as powerful as doomsday
***** I know right? Like the dude's comment weren't obviously a joke on the fact that everyone says Batman can win any fight
You can pretty much put Batman against anyone and The Dark Knight would always find a way to win. I don't know how, but he does.
doomsday put supes into a coma he didn't kill him
he is my favourite comic character
Galactus nuff said
No shit lol
Or Doctor Manhattan
Overkill233 even god spawn
Dr. Manhattan would be able to disintegrate him 'til he doesn't longer exist. But he's not on the same universe so, yeah, they are more Screwed than Screwattack.
Prove that Doomsday would beat Hulk? Because that's already proven.
Hail doomsday
I will pay to watch him beat the crap out of superman
I really have always appreciated how Doomsday makes sense. Unlike very nearly all other hero and villains, the all consuming force was given the necessary time and means by which to be reincarnated after death, many millions of times over. Evolution is amazing, looks at us - Doomsday could be the fruit of such science.
I know I'm necroing. But his evolution, is the same as any superpower or monster made by evolving. It cheats. Real evolution does not create infinite gains in stats.
It only rearranges the existing and limited 'stats' into a more suitable combination for a creature's environment.
Luthor merged zod's dna into a massive destructive nemesis of the trio from dawn of justice.
Has Superman ever though about flying Doomsday to the core of the Sun?
he's been disintegrated before
+SirLordKingGod I think there was a story line, where they trapped him at the end of time. Can't remember how he got out.
+XGlite015 Timetrapper or whoever the hell Evil Booster Gold is.
+Martin Daskalov he would only regenrate and become industructable to that
+Martin Daskalov Possibly.
+Defx10
How? The Flash is fast AF, but Doomsday is fast enough to catch him. He's also resistant enough to tank pretty much anything the Flash can throw at him.
Matthijs Noyce
Ummm, no.
+Defx10
The feat that states he moved at 13 trillion times the speed of light is based on a comic in which it flat out states that he was moving slower than the speed of light.
Matthijs Noyce
Which only means that the writers suck at math. You don't.
+Defx10
Except that Superman has used the Infinite Mass Punch.
