@@RetroCrisis oh, is the theme or color you are using inside of retroarch. There's Dracula, Gruvbox and other popular themes mainly used by developers in their code editors, desktop themes, icons, etc
I'm looking for a Ds emulator that can play games decently not worried about the visual graphics as i run MelonDS on my windows laptop, but it slows down at the worst times so either i need to download this emulator or adjust the setting on MelonDS cause i don't if it will run cause i think it upgraded to windows 11 any advice would help.
No, the original was more like PS1. Do you not remember how warbly PS1 was? Even standing still, the textures moved and warped liked they were alive. It's why N64 was such a big deal visually.
* I wanted to caveat - the upgrade is only effective with polygon models. Rasterised graphics will remain unchanged
DS visual upgrade is definitely a good Cho ce for larger screens. Great video
Thanks bro. I was considering using my spare monitor in Tate mode for DS games 🤣
@@RetroCrisis nice, you could play some arcade shooters too.

Simple, well explained, straight to the point , it's perfect !
I love your intro! I had so much fun playing Streets of Rage when I was a kid. I love how you used it and made it your own, it’s so cool
MelonDS can give me much higher resolution then DeSmuMe without any fps loss
Thanks for your settings 🎉🎉🎉🎉
How do you say DESMUME 😂 wow what a difference! Another great video, is it true, it’s true! I say SHENMUE you say DESMUME, SHENMUE, DESMUME!
🤣
Haha English isn't my first language...but I'm beginning to wonder if Desmume is even a real word 🤣 does sound a bit like Shenmue 🤣
I'm more interested in that gruvbox theme you have for your retroarch on this video
Lol what's a gruvbox?

Starts at 2:37
The rest is just filler to make the video longer.
I wish there was a way to use this upscaling on a 3ds, something else than playing in native resolution.
This might help th-cam.com/video/1JIRNn7ooFw/w-d-xo.html
idk what happened, but there isnt a single sound coming from it
What’s crazy is if the Ds supported like 800p which ain’t far off from this it literally would have been normal for the time 😂 it just be bulky
Yeup thanks bro
You're welcome
what graphics do i must use to play DS games? when i play new mario bros it's laggy
Can I use the latest version of desmume with retro arch?
you can check to see if it's on the core downloader page
Thanks! , any recommended shader for Ds ?
Try this one - th-cam.com/video/xaaNsdnvN_I/w-d-xo.html
@@RetroCrisis 6:04 How do you go about taking the video capture with the 2 settings at the same time? I would appreciate the help
DeSmuMe isn't on Android :(
I tried the NDS emulators but it won't recreate the graphics by making them HD
Desemu is availabe on android, if you can't upscale on the android version try Drastic, I will it's by far the best DS emulator on android

Lag in Android Retroarch desmume x3 resolution
Now the graphics look like PS1 lol

Also, do you realise you go around too dang much?, go straight to the point... gez...
I'll keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks for the feedback
Can you also do this with melonds?
I found Desmume had more graphic upgrade options than MelonDS did
Yes. Just change the resolution. It will look nice like this.
