  • Learn from Mr. Cliff Tan as he delves into the ancient art of Feng Shui and discovers how you may apply it to achieve balance in your life. He will talk about how we may make these environments more suited to success by making seemingly minor adjustments, such as shifting the location of a single object. Cliff Tan is an architect, Feng Shui practitioner and published author. He is most widely known through his channel "Dear Modern" on TikTok, TH-cam and Instagram where he educates and spreads awareness of the concepts of spatial planning and psychology. His aim is to spread this knowledge, using easily relatable principles to democratise the field of architecture and Feng Shui to the wider public. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I had a great job, loved my coworkers, but my desk was placed facing a wall in a corner where I could never see who was entering the room behind me, it drove me crazy, to the point I put in a mirror, i asked for the room configuration to be changed, but there was no accommodation. Once I left I realized how stressful this arrangement had been for me.

That one star review for the book 😂
Book is straight forward, modernized, and easy to read and understand! Beautifully illustrated and explained. I'm giving a copy to all my friends buying new homes and moving!

I love Mr Cliff's content. Has changed my life honestly! I never felt right working at home and realized that ALL of our desks (which are fixed into our room) are facing away from the door. I'm contantly shifting things around in the only room i can currently save. It's a lot of fun finding what works best for me and it does help me a lot, these seemingly minor changes. Thanks again for the content, some of the best out there on youtube. :)

I occasionally perform comedy. People often say to me how frightening it must be, but most theatres are designed so that the stage is significantly higher than the audience. There's very little behind the performers.
So although it can be a bit nerve wracking, it's nowhere near as terrifying as people think.
Thanks for helping me understand why.

I like his shorts more... Because in this talk, Chi is not energy but air, but then he uses 'energy' the whole time? Also the introduction of his talk was quite long, and some photos would help as well to make things interesting.
