This the first time ever TedX brought me a video of zero value. Learned nada!

    • @whitsfiryellnogobyye
      @whitsfiryellnogobyye ปีที่แล้ว

Nada? There was so much information involving Feng Shui in her talk!! 😮
      1. Feng shui has elements of artistic thinking and creativity, & ppl who have skills in those fields may have intuitive understanding of or be drawn to feng shui.
      2. Although comprehensive and in-depth in many areas of life, Feng shui can be easy to learn and there are simple methods to begin start with.
      3. Feng shui is a practical method & also a way of thinking to improve home & all aspects of life.
      4. Feng shui can be (& many inc the speaker herself believes) a practical solution to the worlds crises (which included one close to her heart - hundreds of Hong Kong citizens living in cages for homes!!)
      5. It isn't the big, complex, woohoo/magic/superstitious belief many think it is, its a way of life that can be applied simply by most people.
      6. She believes it can save the world and make people happier by connecting people with nature again/more (and she's using feng shui to do that)
She told you all this through stories of her life & work experiences and her goals (all involving feng shui!).
Are you used to the same repetitive format of talks then switch off when one of them isn't that? Cos there was so much info in there to get from that.

A tip to all, you need to use a chinese LUOPAN, which is a compass to
really take any readings in your house, as there are interference found
inside your house or office. Second, you need to know WHERE to place the
Luopan inorder to really know which is the exact sector or we call it
ba gua palace accurately inorder to be able to tap into the energies
that you want to manipulate inorder gain something out of nothing. And
now, this is the part where different fengshui school came up with
different theories in placing luopan! As this is actually a very BIG
SECRET, which separates out whether you r always a student or you can be
a Master like me. But even after you really manage to found out the
true way of using and placing the luopan, one would still need to study
loads and loads of fengshui theory that are only written and found in
olden classical texts and wordings that is almost making it extremely
difficult for one who doesnt comprehend chinese to read at all because
even most modern chinese themselves cant understand most of it as these
text are written in olden chinese manuscripts. So in the end, my advise
is to engage a professional fengshui master, preferably be of chinese
ethnic because there are really super rare westerners who can comprehend
these chinese ancient texts by themselves. But even if they have a
Grand Master to consult to, normally these grandmaster would not be
teaching 100% of their skills and knowledge to anyone, be it you are a
chinese or other ethnic, unless you are of their own bloodline, as this
is the traditional chinese culture and believe. Well, many of you out
here may just think that its a simple ba gua direction, estimation of it
will do, but pls be cautious of playing with the energy without certain
level of skills or knowledge, as the would cause death or illness
suddenly! As over my past 10 years in practice, many clients had
encounter many great mishaps due to their lack of knowledge in
mishandling of fengshui by themselves, which in the end they engage me
to help them to clear up their mess being made. As due to my
experiences, people who start to do fengshui themselves are mostly
because of they are starting to experience some bad luck initially and
hope to made good to them. However, they had forgotten that since Mr Bad
luck had started to visit them, he will be visit them more and more
often even so! Thus, when one decided to try out fengshui by themselves,
their mind and energy had already been affected by mr bad luck's
negative energy! Thus, causing one to make even more wrong fengshui
decisions that would lead to even more grave mistakes ultimately. This
is my piece of advice to share and hope to help anyone who are fated to
read this to lessen their ill fate in time to come.

nobodybusiness wonderzman wow. thats interesting. I came across a feng shui video years ago and it talked about how "western" feng shui was pretty much wrong since they try to simplify how it's done and that most don't really comprehend it. like example, an American feng shui told a couple to put flowers in their living area and it's okay if the flowers were fake/plastic. she just walked around the room and told them to put crystals and such. I don't know feng shui but I thought FAKE flowers were odd. where are you located?

You got me at, deaths or illness.
If you think too much you may feel ill, that's natural.
if you dwell and stop eating\drinking, you may die, that's natural.
This is the part of feng shui that i do not really like, beliefs are... schizophrenia.
spiritually, people are connected, through, music, cause we share the same interests.
I just bought a bracelet and i'm going to keep wearing it. Because i think there is more to it than silly ghost stories.
Martial arts is everything, i'm a huge Jackie Chan fan and Jet li etc... Dynasty warriors and Blade & Soul are good video games.
And beliefs should be that. Art. Like the Bible. It's a book. Made by some old geezer in a cave.

The core of Chinese fengshui knowledge comes from only two lineages: the Yang Gong system (Classical Fengshui) and the Flying Star system (New Era Fengshui). The Yang Gong fengshui system dates back to the end of the Tang dynasty, while the Flying Star system is a newer one that traces its origins back 400 years.

@@donalain69 no, the paths don't start at the same point. they only end at the same point. For example, suppose you have a city D that can only be reached from city A, B, or C. Just because I know you're in city D doesn't mean I know which city you started from (A, B, or C) to reach city D.
