  • Watching Parliament made easy! My Africa Brings you all the scenes you really want to watch!
Newsworthy, interesting and the funny parts MINUS the boring rest of a long Parliament sitting.
Parliament of South Africa - “To represent the people, and to ensure government by the people in fulfilling our constitutional functions of passing laws and overseeing executive action”. CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW COMMITTEE - Presentation by Anthony Williams of Indigenous First Nation Advocacy South African (IFNASA) in Parliament.
"We are not black people, and we don't believe that there are any black people.
    We are indigenous African people.
We've got to drop this false identification of indigenous African people". *****
The Constitution affords all South Africans the right to see and hear what happens in Parliament.
For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take stories forward.
However, we will NOT condone the following:
    - Racism (including offensive comments based on ethnicity and nationality)
    - Sexism
    - Homophobia
    - Religious intolerance
    - Cyber bullying
    - Hate speech
    - Derogatory language
    - Comments inciting violence.
We strive to make the TH-cam community a safe and welcoming space for all.

Some people just hate the white man not only because of the wrongs they’ve committed, which is understandable, but also simply overly hate them because they made it on top of the food chain in a lot of ways and had the ingenuity to get there by doing the same exact things good or bad that all people have used. The only difference is they were usually better for whatever reason at those same things all of mankind has done. Talk of just blaming the white man all the time for every little thing is often just jealousy that ones own people aren’t at the top, had little to do with true moral decency and respect towards humanity. Blacks are not one people, they are many kinds of people with different language and cultural barrier, it’s Th e same for white people, they aren’t all one people entirely. Irish food and culture and even genes are mostly different between a Frenchman and a Irish.

You say that they are not fully black so that you can say: Look, there are Africans who aren't Black so that your presence in Africa would be tolerated. You want to make people believe that their is nothing wrong with you grabbing African natural resources and land. Your people came up with the "Bantu Migration" theory to cause a division between Africans and to also claim that Black people are invaders/settlers like white people and that they have the right to grab and claim African land. The Bantu migration theory remains just that: It's just a theory. The white people who claim that it happened were not there to witness it. Seriously, how can you trespass on a continent or country that is full of people you don't even know and then tell them where they come from? We Africans are supposed to be the ones telling you where we come from and not the other way around. How many Africans went to Europe and started some stupid theory about where Europeans came from. How many Africans went to Europe and started some stupid theory about where Europeans come from? One hundred percent of us would never conceive the idea, and your people(Caucasians) would never let us do that. Why do you think you have the right to tell us who we are. That is very racist. You do NOT have the right to do that. The Bantu migration theory was started by anthropologists and "anthropology" was referred to as "Colonial Science" or "scientific racism". Plus, your shameless white anthropologists who support the Bantu migration theory are racist and they use the exact same so called "scientific methods" to support the Bantu migration theory. I cannot think of any, in fact there is none. If the khoi and san are the fathers and mothers of bantu an nguni people, it means they gave birth to both Bantu/nguni and left them at west or east africa an they joing them later at the south tip of Africa....it doeesnt make sense. 😕😮 we are all African indigenous people. Yes the cape was firstly inhabited by the khoi and san, yet nguni and bantu people didn't come yesterday at the south tip of africa. And since it was borderless it means they was free movement......africans could stay anywhere in africa.

I'm not getting you, are you saying that different tribes across Africa should move freely to anywhere they want on a borderless African continent. This makes absolutely no sense and would start huge tribal wars as has been in the past.

Khoi/San people's are not "coloureds". My wife used to give livestock to true khoi/San people. They are unique and cannot be claimed to be coloureds. Coloureds are a result of interracial relations. Yes you can be half khoi/San, you can have that blood in you, just like whites and blacks can share a bloodline. There were no coloureds before races met. As a black person I identify with the khoi/San as being natives, but people who are born out of interracial relations shouldn't switch sides at their convenience. There's no "Williams" in the khoi/San they have names and they are alive to this day. My wife used to help those people with poverty eradication. They should never be turned into pawns, they are peaceful and the last to wage any wars against anyone. Coloureds just switch sides as they please.

    Ask yourself the following questions
    1. Can the bantu claim Europe?
    2. Why would the European claim Africa?

Wow! I'm dismayed at the comments made by people of color below. Born during apartheid myself and subjected to all discriminatory laws, my family's land and houses demolished- I'm ashamed at how ignorant some people are. I don't blame the Khoi and San identifying themselves as coloured. They were never black skinned to start off with. They never worshipped ancestors but one God and could hence better identify with the colonial powers at the time IRO religion. Pity 90% were wiped out in war and diseases they had no immunity to and our heritage destroyed in the process mostly. The language could not survive generations and hence Afrikaans, Dutch was adopted. Afrikaans was not evolved by the Dutch white men but by the people they colonised whom made Afrikaans their own.
They have the oldest genome known to the human species and yes science doesn't lie. Mostly coloured people of Southern Africa carry the genes of our ancient ancestors. Denying , claiming that it's some sort of western conspiracy etc...would just be plain ignorant and arrogant.
This 'reverse apartheid' currently dominating S.A is an utter disgrace and against the spirit of Ubuntu which many claim, embedded in our Constitution, clearly the Mandela days are long gone and the 'new crowd' is playing a different ball game.
Unfortunately the true indigenous people of any land will always be denied justice along with their ancestorial ancient land just as the native Americans, Aborigines of Australia etc. Denied by the now majority claiming stake to all and everything. This is the current state of affairs in our country which plagues the minds of many people, indoctrined in pure ignorance, hatred and no sense of humanity towards others whom are different.
The "all is ours mentality" is the reason our country is ridulled with corruption and a a false sense of entitlement! There seems to be an exponential amount of racism doing the rounds like a cancer marginalizing people...and it's mostly coming from non whites! I have learnt in life one can't rationalize with irrational people! Blessed be the Khoi and San - Coloured people of South Africa! Finish and kla!

Perhaps we need to set aside this 'black' definition of who we are, an identity given to us by those that colonized us and in the process, some of them called themselves Afrikaaners (direct English translation is Africans). Sobukwe teaches us to weld ourselves as members of heterogeneous tribes into a solid, disciplined and united fighting force and in the process have a loyalty that is higher than that of the tribe. Why are we we even debating the balkanization of Africa by foreign invaders. One fact that is indisputable is that of the original inhabitants of this continent, perhaps the discussion should start there on how this land was conquered following years of wars of resistance waged by African kings and queens.

Some folks comment that the gentleman never said "we are not black people". I didn't hear him say that either. What he did say was that "we have to stop this racial categorization". The label of "black" is a racial categorization. So, it is not stated, but it is implied. Is the video title sensationalist? IMO, yes. I believe it should be titled differently. Does the title reflect the gist of the content? IMO, yes. The gentleman, as many other people, and science, has recognized and affirmed, that the concept of race is a vestige of European colonialism. Neither logic nor science supports it, and hasn't since the 1950's. Unfortunately, for many people, culture, tradition and profit trumps logic and science. But others simply haven't been lead to think anything differently from what their society has taught them.

Please do NOT forget when the MOORS (which means black in Greek) from NORTH AFRICA invaded the IBERIAN PENINSULA and ruled Spain from 711 until 1492. That was a black African invasion of Europe. The king of Croatia was black African in the 10th century. Shakespeare's Othello is about a Moor. The Berbers were from Libya. There are statues of the Moors in the Netherlands and France and other parts of Europe.

    • @SaintFort
      @SaintFort 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@jessicaF61985Maternal and paternal haplogroups prove that all Homo sapiens descend from a common _African_ source; haplogroups are mutations in mitochondrial DNA and y-chromosomal DNA, the latter of which only males have.
Based on which mutations are shared by populations and which are not shared, geneticists have determined that all populations descend from a common ancestral population. Additionally, geneticists can estimate when different populations' maternal and paternal lineages _diverged_ from one another due to their different, unshared mutations.
99% of males who are alive today carry the y-chromosomal mutation that is designated "A-0T."
The only males who do not carry this mutation are a small subset of West Africans in Cameroon of the Mbo and Bangwa tribes, as well as a few African Americans (who descend from West Africans). This indicates that these West Africans and African Americans carry ancestry from a lineage of Homo sapiens that diverged from the common ancestors of all Homo sapiens before anyone else.
The second largest subset of males carry BT in addition to A-0T, which - once again - only a minority of males do not carry. The males who carry A0-T but who do not carry BT are most of the males of the Khoi-San peoples of Southern Africa and the Nilo-Saharan peoples of East Africa. This indicates that Khoi-San and Nilo-Saharan peoples carry ancestry from the second lineage of Homo sapiens that diverged from the common ancestors of all Homo sapiens.
The third largest subset of males carry CT in addition to A-0T and BT. Males who carry A-0T and BT but do not carry CT are the Hadza and Sandawe peoples of East Africa, and the Pgymy peoples of Central Africa - as well as a plurality of Nilo-Saharan males. This indicates that the Hadza, the Sandawe, and Pygmies carry ancestry from the third lineage of Homo sapiens that diverged from the common ancestors of all Homo sapiens.
Males who carry CT in addition to A0-T and BT are practically all males who are East African (e.g. Omotics, Cushites, Semites, etc), Niger-Congo (West Africans & Bantus), and non-African (Middle Eastern, European, Asian, Oceanian, Native American, etc). I say "practically" because there are technically a few exceptions due to breeding between different populations; however, these exceptions are likely less than 1% of the males from these populations.
Note that there are other mutations in between A0-T, BT, and CT that distinguish the y-chromosomal DNA of the aforementioned populations from each other, but A0-T, BT, and CT - in addition to A00 - are the oldest y-chromosomal mutations that are considered significant.
Mitochondrial mutations reflect these divergences as well. Everyone alive today carries the mitochondrial mutation that is designated "L."
However, the aforementioned Khoi-San and Nilo-Saharan peoples typically carry the L0 mutation but everyone else typically carries the L3'4'6'2'5'1 mutation and its various subclades. And so on, and so on.
These divergences from a common ancestral population are also reflected in autosomal DNA, by the way. So, it's obvious based on these facts that everyone descends from a common _African_ source, which is why it is Africans that carry ancestry from the earliest lineages that diverged from everyone else's.
