That triggered a couple ideas I've got to try now. Frankly, I like hearing the rain on the roof; we don't get a lot of that here in the deserts of Arizona.
🤗🤗🤗love the rain sound. Reminds me of camping as a child with my parents. The rain on the metal roof made for cozy family times. Love the Christmas tags. Great idea about making one be the jig.i think i would use my silhouette cameo and cut the jig part out of paper, and just do all the names at once in a cutting and the tags in another. Gotta get crackin! Christmas is just around the corner! Thank you for the ideas+!
I am biased in this decision because the only 20 watt that I have used is my D1. I have been advised that Comgrow has one coming and I am anxious to try it out. I have seen good things from the other big name brands but can't speak from experience.
If the engraving to come out to white is something you really like and want to repeat on all colors, it might be worth a conversation with Maymay about solid-core cardstock versus white-core.
Is there a certain pair of laser goggles you recommend? I see a lot on Amazon, but I don’t know if they are any good. I just bought the Atezr P20 Plus and it’s expected to deliver today. Enjoy all your videos. Great content!
These are the ones that I wear and I can still see. I do avoid looking at the beam without a layer of protective acrylic and the glasses. So far, No issues. amzn.to/3FBkjPB
It is called "Cloud 9" in Cricut design space. I use the font for cut outs because it is pretty thick. You can also use the offest tool to make it thicker or create a border when engraving.
Couldn’t u use a coordinate for that to eliminate waste. 1. Cut the tag. 2. Set your name at the start, at a coordinate next to to edge to eliminate waste.
The 10 cents worth of material is far worth it. (a 16x16 costs me $1.40) Glueing the letters without it and keeping the spacing correct takes so much more time, it actually costs me money. The letters have to be cut out, you only use a little more material to make the duplicate shape around them. I have tried etching a line to align them with but this is the fastest approach.
I got to say it... Your stuff is really good.. But your explanation with the rubber bands just fell on the floor. I had no idea as to what you were doing... Sorry

I bet, it’s been a little dry here lately. We kinda needed some

I just use them to hold the pieces together for alignment of the two pieces. Sometimes I just loose it…
