If you’re just wanting to curve the text, like you did, if you look at the text when you highlight it you will see an extra dot(I think it’s blue)somewhere near the top right end of the text. Make sure your text is vertically centered with your ornament then highlight the text and drag that extra dot up or down to curve the text to the shape you want it.
Thank you for a timely video. I have been struggling with all of the files I downloaded from the LA Hobby Guy. I very clear explanation of library folder and file management.
I have a Glowforge as well as my new Xtool D1 Pro 20W. I'm looking to save the ornament also for use with the GL. Is there a way in Lightburn to save or export to an SVG?
I hope you handle criticism gracefully. I admire your creativity and putting it all out there but.......quite saying "guys". It will probably be hard to do but you do have "gals" watching you. Another one, that you are not bad about is "go ahead". Some you tube presenters use that in every other sentence...or so it seems. Repetitious statements are a distraction. I am surprised more folk don't comment on presentations skills. Your content is great and always look forward to you next video. This one in particular as I am just starting out with lightburn. I have xtool d1 10w and 20w. Thanks again.
The "guys" is a habit from my years on the job and my area of the world i guess. It is actually not gender specific. Kinda like some folks use "yall". It is the way I was raised and will be hard to stop. Just me being me here... Glad to know that you are paying attention though. I try to limit it and when I do public speaking event, I can take it out. Just hard to control when I am being myself.
Clack, Learned more tricks, well worth the viewing. Keep them coming.
Glad you like the channel. Thanks

I really need to get Lightburn to recognize my Xtool… you make this so fun and easy to learn and follow!!
I have a video for that too. You have to download the file. Just search my videos for configuration. All the machines install basically the same way.
I 3d print multi colored original Christmas ornaments every year. Over 200 that are mailed in Christmas cards/letters.
