Notice this is being done on a Windows PC. Most of these will NOT install on el Cap. Chromium Legacy is the most up to date browser for el Cap. Then there are Wickix's suite of browsers for older macs like Arctic Fox, Interweb, Sea Lion, Spiderweb etc. These will be mostly current but may not work on all sites. I'm also pretty sure that Palemoon is supporting macs once again, after a year or so of not supporting any macs at all.
I'm not sure where you're getting your information; Firefox, Chrome and Safari will not install on El Capitan because the computer is too old. From trail and grief. I got Firefox v. 78.0.1 to run on my 2007 iMac. And personally Safari sucks ass. Slow, slow and slow again. Chrome is a memory hog. But none of them will install. Modern computer for modern browsers. Sorry but some of us don't have 1500 buck for new, crippled Apple product.
The main question is, which of the current versions of the five browsers is still supported for the outdated El Capitan operating system? Firefox, Opera, Safari is not. Any hints are appreciated.
@@WindowsReport I use the latest 10.11 compatible Firefox 90% of the time, as it is privacy friendly and less naggy. Chromium is my backup for websites that have a shit webdeveloper not supporting decent older browsers, but only after heavy tweaking: set a ton of flags, remove google services, install adblocker and delete-history-on-quit extensions and tweaking the prefs to remove default browser nag screens.
great video. Thank you for this great video. As a side note: dude, you have the most Ruski sounding accent I have ever heard. You should go into voice acting for video games. You'd make a great boss battle enemy for every story's "Russian adversary. kagdilah

This video is completely worthless, almost all of the information in it is not applicable to the topic.
When I download opera I can´t execute it. Because it´s made for 10.13. Does anyone have a link to download an old version ??? thanks in advance
Opera 76.0.4017.94 for Mac
Opera is rubbish on El Capitan ! Opera keeps saying browsers are not secure, Firefox will crash when loading images and Chrome is not secure >

Chromium legacy is a solution. Search an ye shall find. I tried to post details here but for some reason my comments on the subject get deleted.
Are you sure that you are correct saying that these are for El Capitan? Opera wont work,,,
If youre facing this same problem here is the answer: Firefox 78.15.0esr
