Arduous Gamer I found their channels at similar times, Jazza got me back into art, and one of the topics I wanted to cover was medieval topics, which led me to finding shad, then like a week later Jazza did a video with shad and said he was his brother. It was the most awesome moment of TH-cam.
That comparing audible libraries is probably one of the best ways to advertise the product. Also, I think Shad possibly got a little teared up to find out his brother had his own book there. I definitely noticed his face get a little red when that happened. I love how wholesome you two are. My brother and I are basically strangers, so I'm glad you guys get along so well.

To be honest if you got hit by one it would hurt, but the issue with (most) jumping attack or other similar super flashy attacks is that they're telegraphed a mile away so any semi-competent opponent would easily see and counter them. This applies to pretty much any martial art (and I'm counting boxing and greco-roman wrestling as martial arts for this), some moves are super flashy and look cool if you can pull them off but are practically impossible to pull of against resisting opponents as they're so highly telegraphed that any semi-compentent opponent pretty much has to intentionally be hit by them due the attacks being so easy to see and counter.
@@Blox117I can't tell if you're serious or not, so I'll respond as you were. Short anwser:no Long Anwser: most sword are really badly balanced for throwing (there's javelins as heavy as some swords so the weight isn't really an issue) so hitting with them while thrown at any reasonble distance is more due blind luck then anything skill based and throwing it at melee distance it's really just a weak thrust that also disarms you. Not mention that throws suffer also from the exessive telegraphing issue, it's not that bad for weapons meant to be thrown as they're used in different role to swords, but throwing swords is just another flashy move that doesn't really work like it does in the movie, in fact you can see Shad slapping off thrown swords that could have hit him and same would be true if they were using steel blades.

Wow,Shad is actually much more skilled than what i expected ,i thought he was more of the theoretical thinker that dabbled a little in swordfighting just to see their point of view,but it looks almost on par with Skallagrim.

@Davis Whitaker shad does spar, he trains with a bunch of different weapons. Hell you can find a lot of videos of him dueling a lot of other people.

@@oblivionguard7000 i think it would be unfair to shad, he has a breathing condition that make him very tired very easly, so he need to fix that first if they were to ever do this.

I remember Jazza mentioning your channel and was like... "He knows Shad?! That's awesome!" Now I'm blown away. Lol
Arduous Gamer I found their channels at similar times, Jazza got me back into art, and one of the topics I wanted to cover was medieval topics, which led me to finding shad, then like a week later Jazza did a video with shad and said he was his brother. It was the most awesome moment of TH-cam.
That comparing audible libraries is probably one of the best ways to advertise the product. Also, I think Shad possibly got a little teared up to find out his brother had his own book there. I definitely noticed his face get a little red when that happened.
I love how wholesome you two are. My brother and I are basically strangers, so I'm glad you guys get along so well.

To be honest if you got hit by one it would hurt, but the issue with (most) jumping attack or other similar super flashy attacks is that they're telegraphed a mile away so any semi-competent opponent would easily see and counter them.
This applies to pretty much any martial art (and I'm counting boxing and greco-roman wrestling as martial arts for this), some moves are super flashy and look cool if you can pull them off but are practically impossible to pull of against resisting opponents as they're so highly telegraphed that any semi-compentent opponent pretty much has to intentionally be hit by them due the attacks being so easy to see and counter.

Short anwser:no
Long Anwser: most sword are really badly balanced for throwing (there's javelins as heavy as some swords so the weight isn't really an issue) so hitting with them while thrown at any reasonble distance is more due blind luck then anything skill based and throwing it at melee distance it's really just a weak thrust that also disarms you. Not mention that throws suffer also from the exessive telegraphing issue, it's not that bad for weapons meant to be thrown as they're used in different role to swords, but throwing swords is just another flashy move that doesn't really work like it does in the movie, in fact you can see Shad slapping off thrown swords that could have hit him and same would be true if they were using steel blades.
You are definitely living dangerously by giving Jazza a sword. He should stick to drawing. But the two of you are hilarious together.
