I always have an issue with collage, and this makes it look so easy! Thank you for taking the time to explain your thought process, it makes so much sense. I learned new tips too - the wet brush on the napkin technique as well as how to remove the two layers of the napkin!! Thank you :) I also love how you used the phrase from a book and used it as a cue for journaling. Thank you for mentioning my video. You are amazing, always crediting everyone. What a gem you are. Thank you. Oh, and no matter how much collaging I do, it will never look as stunning as what you did in this video!! Huge thumbs up!!

Treasure Books Aaaw, thank you so much Natasa! Your kind words mean a lot to me! Of course you can make a collage at least as good as mine! ❤️😊. I love using the book phrases since I saw your great video on them and I think I have referenced it in most of my recent videos 😂. Have a fabulous weekend 😘

Wow, Barbara! That was fabulous! I absolutely LOVE your page!!! 😍😍 Instead of making my first collage straight in my journal I’m going to practice a few times on random paper until I feel comfortable with it. I’m very happy to find out that I’m not the only one that doesn’t like odd shapes of paper for collaging. I guess I just like my shapes to be more uniform...they don’t have to be the same size shape, but I don’t want any wild edges. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this video...I’ve been struggling with ideas for decorating pages without resorting to tucks, flips or pockets.

Not understanding why you put so many things on the pages and then cover them all up. Is it done to make the pages thick? Love your colors and vintage looks. The best part was your memory of your summer day on the island, loved that! I hope you ad special memories all through your journals. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Lynda! I do the layering first to get some interest on the page and to get more texture. Usually the page gets a life of its own and you never know how it’s going to turn out 😃.

This very pretty, I love ❤️it! I barely caught a glimpse of the door for cover! It’s fabulous! I was not able to watch the whole video, hoping to see it in the video.
Do you have a video about this door on your cover of your journal? I have left over balsa wood from a project, I figured that would work better.
Can you lead me the way to the video of the door, if you have one? Thanks for sharing.✌️😊

Was that a piece of tape that you stuck on it to help remove it? Thanks

Teresa Story Hi Teresa and welcome to my channel! I hope you will find lots of inspiration here! The name 49dragonflies just came to me, later I checked what dragonflies symbolize and they stand for new beginnings and for finding your true self so it was perfect! 49 is my age and I picked that number again without realizing that that’s why I picked it. I also like the sound of that name 😊

I was wondering if you make your own junk journals and, if you do, do you sell them as well? I would love to start a junk journal but am a bit intimidated to make my own journal. If you don't sell them yourself do you know others who sell them and for a reasonable price? Love watching your videos. Hugs, Tracy

Tracy Olson Hi Tracy! I do make my own and have a few videos you can watch showing how I make mine. Currently I’m not selling any, sorry. I work in a second journal in some of my recent videos which is made by Alison. She is in the US and sells them. I adore her journals. You can find her on Instagram under @alisonnoeljournals and you could message her her there directly. I think her journals go for $35.
