Denver…that was a good breakdown of the packages. I didn’t realize there was a M sport brake difference. I’ll have to go check my rotors now😁 I got the Brooklyn Grey with HEA 2 pack, with Black seats and blue stitching. Absolutely loving this car ! BMW’s sleeper right now 😎

Nice video. But the 18” winter rims do fit, even with the M sport pro pack. Running this combination right now👍
From what i understood. BMW does not recommend it, the clearance is too small from caliper to wheel

Pretty nice specs, but too bad on the Thunder night Metallic vehicle without the Essential or Enhanced package is missing the Driver's Lumbar and the extra Storage compartment cubicle hole on the left side vs the HEA packages from the other models, pretty important for storing sunglasses and small everyday items.. ahh no HK sound
That's why it's called custom made. I don't use any of those features you mentioned..lol and prefer listing to the sound of the engine rather than the music..🙂
@@Martini_P. Yeah, spending money for upgraded audio is a waste on money on small coupes...i wouldn't get the HK on the 2 series (but I got the bowers wilkins on my IX 40 :) )

Hi Denver you are definitely a m240 nut, and I mean that as a compliment. I almost spec’d the exact same as your ride but realized I could get Brooklyn grey. I have the staggered set up with 225s and 255s but not the cooling package. 19 in wheels. Will my car have the larger brakes up front? Cant believe you guys actually have 2 cars for immediate sale. The would last about 5 seconds in Virginia. Car arrived in Baltimore earlier this week and should be in my garage next week. But…. I am hearing about RAM Stop Sale issues on some of these vehicles. Are you guys experiencing that. If so, what is the typical delay at the VDC. Thanks,
Thanks for watching! doesnt sound like you will have the larger front brake disks. In Toronto we actually have 5 for sale in total. Congrats on your new car tho. I havent seen a RAM module retrofit on a M240i but the 3/4 series that have them have been sitting in germany since as far back as september builds so this one issue is taking a hella long time for BMW to correct.
@@DenverBMW thanks, any thoughts on the 1200 mile break in. Planning some road trips but will have trouble varying the speed significantly on the highways.
Thanks again for the g42 m240i content. I wish my dealership would get a allocation finally. Here In Alabama I been waiting since November ugh.. now I’m considering changing to the tire and cooling option for the bigger brakes lol
Hey mate I’m loving the 2 series content. I’ve just ordered a 230i M sport for UK delivery. Will be a few months yet but I’m watching your videos eagerly. Any 230i content would be appreciated. I’d love to see how it drives compared to the M240i
Hi there Kyle. Also waiting on a 230i Msport order, placing the order here in the US was $1k US. Would like to know which color combo you went with? Did you option for the ZHD package? For 2022 the Canadian market does not have the option for the 230i.
@@alexwithwatches6534 Hi Alex. The 230i was only just introduced to the UK market in the last couple of weeks. We had a lower power 220i available before that. I’m not sure what the ZHD pack is because the packs are different here in the UK
But roughly my options are
Thundernight metallic (of course)
Style 797M diamond cut bi colour wheels
M Sport Pro pack (which gives you the 19 inch wheels, larger m sport brakes and also shadow line extended contents like the black kidney grille)
Adaptive LED is standard
Live cockpit pro is standard too
Then I got the comfort pack which gives me comfort access and heated steering wheel and electric seats
Main option I left out was parking assistant plus and drive recorders. I’d like them but they were too expensive
would like to make some but we do not get rwd cars in canada so no 230i until 2023

Hi Denver quick question these cars don’t come with a spare tire they come with the BMW mobility kit I wanted to know can the BMW mobility kit be used to inflate tires when pressures are low or are they only for filling puncture tires with sealant

Denver great job. I just picked up my Black 2022 M240. A beautiful car. Added the heated seats and Vernasca Leather seats black with blue stitching , and added Ed the M logo for the interior.
My car came without the M logo on the left and right fenders? Any reason why?
Sounds like you are from the states, not sure why they don't have them
@@DenverBMW Yes from the USA. Some arrive with the M on the fender and other do not. The cars in the USA all come out of SLP in Mexico.
not sure because I am based in Canada, i recommend taking a look at the codes on the ordering guide.

Is it worth waiting for the M2 instead? I understand that the front and rear taillights are different on the M2. Most of these M240i that you're displaying in your video are priced around $70k except the one with the leather interior.
no idea. but dont compare a base M2 to to a fully loaded M240i
@@DenverBMW Why? The new M2 isn't out yet so how would you know what it comes with? And Usually full M cars are almost fully optioned now. Also the price I quoted on my comment was Canadian $$$; the US price is substantially lower.

Maybe you know the part numbers for the larger calipers and discs? Although in the video 5:25, I did not see any differences in the calipers, but the disks are clearly larger.
it is in pacakge 33T (technology pacakge). just bigger disks, same calipers

The M240i appears to be taken off the forward order book in the UK - presumably because BMW are close to releasing the M2.

Yes you can. It is a standalone option that can be combined with any other feature.

If you order M Performance parts I assume the dealership will install them or do you have to order them before your car gets there. Also looking to upgrade to the Mperformance wheel on my m240i thats coming in soon but I think I would probably lose my heated steering wheel function then.
In Canada they are dealer installed only. i think in the states some parts can be port installed

They might bolt up. Cant say for certain.
Ordering my M240i tomorrow. I have been through the process, but I don’t see an “M4 performance package” listed. I see a tire and brake cooling package with the wheels you featured on the thundernight Metallic BMW. Thoughts?

I should have been clearer 😊 the only options that I see at the dealer are the same packages that I find on bmwusa.com. How do you find the “M4 performance pack”? Or am I not understanding what you are saying on your video?

I am not sure. In Canada we do not have the 230i yet.
@@DenverBMW so the gold line of headline come with option 'shadowline package' ? ty
the gold line in the headlight only comes with the adaptive LED headlights. if you get the shadowline it will not be there.

I had a 2017 m240i convertible, since bmw decided not to go with a drop top for 2022 , I decided not to buy the new 240i
