ABSOLUTELY! Here in the US the m240 xDrive MSRP is $48,720 pretty well equipped. Which is only about 3k more than the new mk8 golf R. Problem is dealers are marking them up. I've got the mk7 Golf R from 2015 and as soon as I can get an m240 i for MSRP then how could you say no. It's faster to 60 and in the quarter mile then an M2 competition. No it doesn't look as cool or aggressive but I think it looks fantastic. It's by far the greatest car under $50,000 in the US today. Well I mean if you're looking for insane power and performance, with beautifully refined German technology and materials, as well as being incredibly comfortable and smooth. If you like all those things then this is the car.. especially if you're a single guy.

I hate when I hear people talking about price tag on an m240i.... lol its a german twin scroll turbo'd inline 6 coupe that is all wheel drive and it is under 60k usd for a pretty much fully loaded one with all boxes ticked. a similarly featured porsche will cost you 130k usd or so. the m240i is an absolute bargain.

      The BMW REAR WHEEL
DRIVE COUPE 230i minimally optioned with convenience options is less than $40,000. NOW THATS A BARGAIN!

Especially when you look at the benchmark price of cars these days. It’s gone up drastically the last 10 years
You can find a low speced 2022 m240i here in the states for $42-43k before taxes

It's an amazing car, looks even better in person, acceleration is way more than I need. I don't think I even use half of its potential 99.9% of the time. Good enough for me as a daily

I ordered the same spec M240i with Brooklyn Grey and and gloss black exterior and the same Red leather seats plus the Pro pack with the wider tyres wheels and oil cooler. It’s coming on Michelin tyres with extra body kit to allow for the 245 front tyres. Due July 2022.

Great great review Matt. Still the funniest car reviewer on youtube. 4.6s to 100? Damn i used to get that in my old 2014 m235i. Ive seen the new m240i do a lot faster in other videos though. Shame the back seats are so small now. I could fit my 6 foot friends in the back of my old m235i no worries. Howd they mess that up at BMW?

@@MrTroytroy No roll out, just launch control and most get in the range of 3.7 - 3.8 (including myself). BMW is notorious for fudging their numbers to stay within a segment. Beat last years M2 / new AMG CLA 45 S on carwow 0-60 and 1/4 mile. It is faster than it's competitors out at the moment. Some vids up on their channel. Definitely faster than my 2020 M2 Comp. Carwow specs....2022 RS3 0-60 (3.63) / 2022 M240i 0-60 (3.82) they are neck and neck even at the 1/4 mile. Once the M2 comes out it's game over for any other competitor being tuned up from this car especially if they offer it in xDrive.👍
