Hey Mark great video. One thing I have noticed is that all of these Philips screws are actually Japanese type screws. If you notice the standard P2 philips head screwdriver feels loose in the screw head. What everyone should be using is a PZ2 bit. You will be amazed at how well the screw sticks to the bit when installing them. I first noticed it when installing my headlight bezels. The difference is night and day.
I was having a issue with the way my car was shifting in gears, it was real notchy and hard to get into gear. I thought snycros were going out. A friend suggested swapping shifters out, So I installed MGW shifter. WOW what a difference!! So if you haven't already changed your shifter out I would give that a shot!!

Nice video man, I tried this as well...but on my 2000 vert the foam completely ripped apart and the console lid itself needed some plastic weld as it had fractured in some areas...glad yours was more simple but mine took some work lol

My question is have you found the E brake boot ? I looked for similar DIY interior , found swede shifter boot, looks great, but I can't seem to find the E brake boot, can you help?

I would have liked to have watched the staple process. I’m not really sure how that went. You said they were long so you weren’t pushing in too far, but they seemed to be curled over? Unless your staple gun is different than ones I’ve used I’m confused by this.
