No need for double stack. Makes it too large. Just carry extra mags & stop messing up perfection.
Why they didn’t make it double stacked is beyond me

I have the P220 Legion 10mm with the DA/SA trigger. I love the X-ray sights. Out of my three 10mm handguns, it’s my favorite. I wish Sig would make one with a higher capacity magazine.
They made the P227 45ACP but it wasn't all that popular. The same gun could easily be made in 10mm and probably do better.
Sig should make a candle and call it midnight smoke.
If any of the U.S. gun makers were to do this... it would be SIG.
Man, this makes me feel like a little baby with my .45 version. I've never fired 10mm, but, when I do, this is the pistol I want to try it in. Thanks for the video!

... I own a Sig p220 Legion in 10mm and do agree it's a super handgun. When my friends and I go to the range they always request for me to bring the Sig 10mm, and after they get done shooting it I have to do two things, one - get the Jaws of Life to pry the gun out of their hands and two - get ahold of a plastic surgeon to remove the perpetuate smile from their faces! But mine is a TDA model ...
10mm is very enjoyable to shoot. I rolled my own “not a Glock 20” P80 PF45 in 10mm. Great gun and it shoots all the Underwood ammo beautifully. Great video. Thanks.

Finally got mine and I love it! Lots of muzzle flash out of 200 grain ammo. Best of the Legions in my opinion.
Thanks for spending the money and showing us that beautiful Sig. someday I’d like to get a p220 for deer hunting. I have a p229 legion 9mm and the slide release is also real stiff on mine.
That one is on my list. I have the Legion P226 in .357Sig and I LOVE that pistol, so the P220 in 10 should be .....well, ok, not this month, but possibly next. Sig Academy is a 12 minute drive from here and the Candy......er...Pro Store is right there. It's downright dangerous. I have never walked out of there without a new weapon, or tshirt, or ammo, and usually all 3 with maybe an optic or holster. They offered me a job and I almost took it, but you know......you can't eat guns and I wouldn't be bringing home cash, only go go back to work and spend it all. I suspect they have some Kryptonite under the counter in there, because I walk in and I'm instantly weak. LOL
Don’t have the p220 10mm yet. Got plenty of p226s though. 9/40/357. All nice.

Just bought a p220 10mm scorpion elite. Its my second 10mm and easily my favorite gun I own. The springfield xdm elite 10 is also another great pistol.

The only reason I bought a 220 sig was for the 10mm. Its the best pistol I've found so far that hands then 10mm well.

I have this gun I'm 6'1" and tradesmen I've never had a gun feel so good in my hand no need for double stack it would be to chunky in the hand trigger is awesome

I got this gun last month. I absolutely love it. Though, the slide release won't actuate. I've shot 200 rounds so far.

10mm hits hard.
10mm is my favorite semi-auto pistol caliber. I've been looking for a Sig-Sauer P220 in 10mm. My favorite revolver caliber is 41Mag and full house 10mm is like low end 41mag power but with 8-15+1 rounds of capacity.
Is the p220 better then the rock island 1911 double stack??

I am just curious why you chose the SAO vs. the DA/SA version? I prefer the DA/SA version.
I never understood why the p227 wasn't offered as a legion or in 10mm. It's a great pistol. And the way they made options available on the p227 is confusing.🤔
1. The tactical didn't 'originally' have front serrations or the option to come optic ready.
2. The variants with front serrations weren't available with a threaded barrel or optic ready.
3. The p227 rx wasn't available with a threaded barrel or front serrations.
4. The nail in the coffin was they then offered the p220 in *10mm!* and in a Legion variant.
It's like sig made the p227 and almost single handedly did whatever they could to undermine it.
A. If sig would have offered the p227 with a comprehensive feature set I would have bought a p227 instead of an 'FN FNX 45 tactical'.
B. If Sig would have offered the p227 in 10mm I would have bought a p227 instead of a 'Tanfoglio Witness Stock III'.
IDK, maybe it's just me.😕

Why the heck is it not double stacked??
That sig didn't like the sig ammo. Seems like it did just fine with the armscor. It loved those XTPs.
Would love to buy one, but can't justify the price for a single stack.
Been looking to add a 10mm . Narrowed it down to a Sig, Kimber or Glock. I love my sig 9mm, glock .40 and Kimber .380. But still can't decide on the 10mm.
15rounds factory makes Glock kind of a no-brainer if you can only have one and like Glock.
Makes me ponder selling my Glock 40 Mos for one. Great vid.

Can't tell from the camera angle but it looks like a miss on the upper dueling targets could go over the berm. When hit, that 10mm definitely knocks them around!
It could if I were lying on my stomach on the ground, maybe. Funny thing about cameras, is that it's possible to place them in a different position than the human eye.

What is your favourite round, 9mm, 10mm, .40 or .45acp?
There is something about .45 ACP that has always been my favorite. 10mm sure comes close, but it's not quite as versatile, and of course not as economical.

I asked sig year’s ago Make the Stainless classic into a 10mm with a full 5 inch barrel but stainless and those beautiful wood grips DA/SA
finally would have a Gun comparable to the Bren Ten that never was brought back to life. I have a P220 in 45 stainless classic
But it’s not 10mm…
I would gladly trade my 10mm Legion for an Elite Stainless... if i can find one... they should resurrect it

The 150--165 grain bullet is better suited to the 10mm. The 180 grain is a little too much.

It was a review gun - T&E. Purchased at the price given to writers for used guns - roughly wholesale.
Could the 320 handle a 10mm load?
I'm not qualified to answer that question. I'd love to try one - but my initial thought is, if they could - they would. So I'm thinking there might be concerns with that pressure.

All my Sigs shoot low, have tried many sights, no joy, limited how much I shoot them.
I finally ordered a new rear site from Sig for my MK 25
Everyone should know that I've learned from a few friends that certain channels.....MAC, Mrgunsnshill, Sootch00, Colion Noir and a couple others.....not only delete comments that are critical, but also "ban" the commenter, which means the commenter is the only person who can see their comment.
