Well, the CZ75 comes close enough for most In addition there is a Dan Wesson that is kinda like a CZ mixed with a M1911, might fit the bill Also the S&W 3rd gen might fit the bill too
Their best platform in 10mm is the P220 and they are best served putting research and development into it. Bring back the DA/SA with SRT on this thing! Innovate the P220 platform to accept double stack mags up to 14 and get us extended mags with a +2 baseplate and nuke the competition with that superior build quality from the 90s. Right now, Sig is getting throttled by Glock, Springfield H&K and now Hi-Point in 10mm. The only reason they came up with this pittance at SHOT is because Hi-point came out with that unholy abomination which only carries 10 and cannot mount an optic… But that is 2 more than the P220 can carry. That is a shame that Sig has chosen not to reboot a proven design and STILL refuse to fix the flaws on their P320 series. Is this the beginning of the end for Sig? Were those government contracts for the P320s the kiss of death?
Man the 220 would be epic… if it held 15 rounds… and had an option to get a DA/SA model. As someone else said in the comments, it’s currently just a fancy proprietary 1911. Also, have/will you guys fix the 320 mag issues?
That Legion 10mm is next on my list. I don't use optics or a flashlight and 99% of the general public will never need it. Great for playing at the range but not much else.
I wish Sig would show how they improved the P320 platform to prevent those accidents they got sued for. Also some demos showing these guns are safe cause since they supposedly "fixed" the problem, they never showed what they did to them or demoed them. Even after they "fixed" the P320, I read some stories on the news where they were being sued again for the same issue. Apparently, the problem isn't fixed. That's why I'm staying FAR away from Sig personally.
I've never cared for these new generation SIG Sauer striker-fired pistols, the P365, and the P320. Particularly regarding the P320 series, there's just something about a (modern) pistol known for firing if dropped, and for self-firing uncommanded, even while holstered, that will just never sit well with me. I've got the SIG Sauer Romeo 1 Pro - it's an expensive, unreliable piece of garbage that won't hold zero, and seems to power on only when it wants to. No thank you. However, I do truly love that classic SIG Sauer P220 Legion 10mm Auto 5" pistol, particularly in the frame-mounted decocker DA/SA SRT Trigger model. 10mm Auto rocks!
Boooooooo on those dangerous 300 series hammerless pieces of junk where they have accidental discharges but. HURRAH for the new P220 10mm with optics. I just wish with all my heart and soul they would bring back the Sig 357 in P220, P229 and P226. They were doing so well and then they stopped making them in 357 sig in order to chase after Glock to try to make one like them in a light plastic hammerless pistol but have been plagued with accidental discharges, scaring everybody to death. So please quit chasing after Glock and make us the 357 Sig again in P226, P229 and P220. And the small 239 with optics. Go back to your roots Sig and bring back that 357 Sig. I think whoever quit doing that should be fired or they should quit.
The Sig P220 is a beast of a gun that eats all ammo and now it has a red dot option, just made it better.
Wait for the XTen AXG Comp Legion, it's coming don't doubt it.
I wish they could have a DA/SA option, a SAO 220 is basically a proprietary M1911
Why doesnt anyone make a double action 1911? Why is that not a thing, I cant find it anywhere.
Well, the CZ75 comes close enough for most

They have a da/sa version
More like had
@@evangraham it's on their website have a look for yourself. I tryed to post the part # but youtube deleted the comment
My local Cabelas has had a P220 Legion in 10mm for at least six months

X Ten compact please. I need a G29 and XDM 3.8 competitor
Recommends romeo 2? They don't have a romeo 2 on there

The P220 is available as a DA/SA model. There are just a lot less less of them available.
I just got my P220 Legion the other day after a 6 month waiting period!❤❤
@@mtbob45 who did you purchase from? I went on gunbroker and bought one new. Got it a week later.
@@RB-xv4si I ordered locally from a small gun dealer. I was willing to wait because he gave me a good price on it.
Does this Sig only fire when the trigger is pulled or do you have to worry about it spontaneously going off?
Just don't drop it...
It only "goes off" if you're a police officer...hmmmmm
Please make a 220 double stack 😮
Has Sig ironed out the issue with the problems loading 220-230 grain ammunition with the Xten? The P220 has no problem with that size ammunition.
I have a p220 10mm legion. I hope they sell the slide with RMR so i can upgrade mine
What holster do you use.
@Casey Rael right now i use a chest rig from alien holsters
Does it come in 45acp ?
whats the pistol above your head is that a p365 with left hand controls?
P322
You can pry my iron sights from my cold dead hands! 😂
Love the legion series but for nearly 2k the capacity is unsatisfactory and really hindering it from being one of the hottest out
Kinda reminds me of the new hi power but better

Stop believing untrained cops and don't be a moron. The same thing was happening with those same people 30 years ago with Glocks.
That sucks, here I was hoping they'd have made the X-10 in a carry model or an axg for it, not just having one come with an optic 😒
