How to Turn On 120hz at 4k Resolution on your SONY TV Google TV (PS5 or Xbox)

Do you want to know how to turn on 120hz at 4k resolution on your Sony TV Google TV! This is great with your gaming consoles on PS5 or Xbox series X! Go to settings, channels and inputs, then go to enhanced input, then select external inputs and make sure the option for enhanced inputs is selected on you HDMI input! Also, plug it into hdmi 3 or 4!

Why isn’t there an options for changing the 4k120hz thing. When I click on HDMI signal format, I get an option for displaying 4K 60hz for only hdmi 2-3. There’s not a I click hdmi 2 and I can choose from there, it’s I click on the signal format and I get standard format and Enhanced format and nothing else:(

Just posting this here if anyone runs into this same issue. But when I had enhanced format, my ps5 was stuck in game mode and it looked awful. I set it to enhanced format (Dolby vision) and I could then change out of game mode and get better image quality

I have the A95K. I just did what you suggested. How do I see that I'm getting 120 hz? When I go to ps5 it says 60 hz but I know that's for the home screen. I just want to know for certain I'm getting 120 hz. Also, what mode do you use to play games if not game mode. I like Vivid but curious what you did. Thanks!

I have a Sony XBR-65X750D and when I go to HDMI Enhanced signal format, the only two options show Standard Format and Enhanced format (Displays HighQuality signals on HDMI inputs 2 & 3. Select this option only if your device supports HighQuality HDMI formats such as: 4K 60p 4:2:0 10bit, 4:4:4, 4:2:2.
Does mine not have 120hz? And also I have my PC connected to my TV using HDMI input 3. But only gives me the option to use the TV at 60hz.

I have the same setting on my Sony, different model though. On ps5 it doesn’t even show that I can do 1080p at 120hz even though my tv is 120hz and I’m connected to the right input.
