I just bought a New 24 Lariat off the lot I’m glad I didn’t wait to order a 2025. De-content seems to be the plan with the same base price. Changes: 1. 6.8 Gas standard on Lariat. 7.3 now optional 2. Drivers Door keypad is now optional and only dealer installed 3. Leather seating surfaces are now optional 4. Electric adjustable steering column is now optional 5. Reverse sensing system is now optional 6. They removed 12v outlet in located on rear of console 7. Baja interior now optional only with active x (vinyl) seating 8. Now only optional rear power sliding window w/ defrost/tint
I got more comments on my 2008 F350 (white w/ tan bottom on 20" wheels) than I ever did on my black 2017 F350 and ruby red 2019 F450 combined. I liked the looks of the 08-10's. They certainly weren't ugly by any means. Also, I know the 6.4L was problematic, but I traded it at 110k with zero problems. I worked it hard though.

That was a big discussion when Aluminum body was released... Which has turned out to be a market advantage and great decision. My view seems to evolve, being F450 Owner... Thought the rounded dual hips the best... Especially over the early squared hips. The new '23-24 Dually Hips are the best yet... Very muscular tough with a classy angular view at same time. Many hate the new '23-24 Ft End while that was a selling point to me to order '24 Limited. One thing Ford retained was physical knobs for common quick adjustments, horizontal screen provided space below in natural reach. Moving to a Ram style verticle tablet style screen to me is hidious. While waiting 10 months for my F450, I drove Ram & GMC High end Duallys, seriously considering a move... Which reinforced my desire to wait for F450. With the little look changes hinted for 2025, the end of Limited... I'm glad I went with '24. Does that mean '24 better than older Gens... Not in all ways... And any Diesel going forward is going to be costly to purchase and maintain. 10 yrs from now... Looking back will realign again.
Ford kept same body style from 1999 to 2016, same doors, windows, body lines, just minor tweaks like the tailgate, tail lights headlights, grille. Then engine and transmissions changed due to problems and emission laws. 2011 the 6.7 came out, had turbo issues till 2013 then revised it again in 2015. 2017 came the alumiduty and quite a few new changes. 10 speed in 2020. Big screen in 2022. Then 2023 with new interior and hideous front end. Hopefully for the 2026 refresh itll be a more aggressive looking front end💯💪
I've followed these trucks for a while now to deduce a redesign is imminent not until 2026, Ford is on a 3-year cycle for their products at most 4. I will say this though, the 2008 Super Duty has a place for me because it was the last commercially sold V-10 truck before the 2011 update that called for it being strictly sold to fleet buyers.
I’ve had pictures of the 2025 super duties for months now it’s just a few minor changes and interior colors. No more limited. It’s same thing they did with the 2024 f150s

Your 350 and video are both quite recent. Any chance you can do a video on your seats and the piping stitch on the bottom? 2023 builds had this red or brown piping that a lot of people complained about. I think the newest builds have this piping removed and it’s just a double stitch. Any chance you can confirm what your truck has?
I was told the 6.8 is getting a 25hp bump and the 7.3 a 50hp bump and over 500 TQ. I want the 7.3 HO..thats what I am waiting for. The 6.7 diesel will have 500/1200 and 525/1350. We presently have a 2020 7.3 (my personal truck w carli suspension) and 21 7.3 (our work truck and local hot shot and that one has 146k miles.) and 2024 6.6 GMC gas my partners truck. Trading them in for 3 new 25's. If the major changes like you say will be in 2026 I will wait.

My neighbor just got a 2024 f250 lariat 6.7 and the AC just went out on it, Dealer says part is back ordered, apparently its a common issue with these new trucks
Wait, they just released they are changing the whole interior for 2025. New vertical screen and going to wood grain and aluminum trim? also changing the hoof, side profile and grille. You are saying they aren't changing any of this. So who is accurate here?
@paulhyland5868 that sounds grand, but my sources I trust. There are a lot of people putting outrageous changes or even concepts. I'll stand by what ive been told. 26 though there will be some.
@orangepowerguy the news out about 3 days ago is, it will be a gad. And unfortunately it sounds like it's going to use the 3.5 powerboost engine. Which will make it a light duty HD. That platform uses a alluminum block. Most HD applications use cast iron to ha fle the abuse.
Got a 23 and have been happy. I wish they would come out with a front e locker for it. The new model should have the option to compete with the powerwagon. Also i like the old door handles better for one reason. If you forget to lock your doors bears can open it lol.
Front end look kinda grew on me. The all chrome on the Larait is meh, and the sport package grill looks bad. I rather like the Platinum/Limited setup though, with the chrome bars all the way across and the painted bumper. I agree the previous gen was better looking and GMC still takes the cake in the looks department but they honestly look a lot better in-person and driving around irl than they do on any TH-cam vids.

@mitchreynolds9414 since the chwvy crushed it I had to sell to buy another truck for the channel, just couldn't afford to run two. So I sold that to a buddy of mine that wanted it since I bought it. He's a contractor and tows all the time. KONG (6.6 chevy has over 40k), no problems, zero oil consumption. I joked with him about buying it back and he said, nope, it's the first truck he's ever had that he actually liked and has had zero issues.
Do you happen to know where the transmission is produced the one that you have in your current vehicle and on the super duties with the diesel option are they actually manufactured in the US Canada or as I have now heard in China
@tomchepey2999 the transmission is made in sharonsville planted in Cincinnati OH. The 7.3 godzilla and 6.8 are made in Windsor canada. The 6.7 powerstorke is made in chihuahua Mexico and the trucks themselves are made in the US, primarily the SD made in Kentucky.
@johnw4999 sorry didn't elaborate about that. There is a connection on the passenger side that on 23s and some early 24s the wires ran close to an area where they could chafe and short out. On mine the wires have been moved slightly and covered so they don't chafe. If ones ac isn't working you can turn on the ac and wiggle the wires, if it turns on while wiggling they'll need to be repaired and covered with some wire shrouding.
I didn’t hear you mention (or I missed it) the rumor that the 7.3 Godzilla was going to be E85 compatible like the 6.8 is currently. Is that going to be the case? Additionally, I understand that interior screen is going to be vertical instead of horizontal.

I know you are a ford fan from your videos...as was I...BUT 3 brand new ones in the last 3 yrs and NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS... Just filed a lemon law on a brand new 23 f150 that didn't even make it to 4000 miles before the trans took a shit and they couldn't fix it and didn't replace nothing because they couldn't diagnosis it.. Anyone buy a ford today is a fool... My 22 was nothing but recalls and ford didn't have the parts to fix it... also had repeated trans issues.. My 21 was a super duty and it was a flat-out dog that wondered all over the road and they couldn't fix it.. Just modern junk
@Supertramp01 I agree with you on many of your points. I try not to give off the vibe on being one brand fan. I grew up chevy and when ram blew the market up in 1994, I became an all out ram fan. I've owned mostly rams in my life, my best one being a 16 dually cummins, but I wish I still had my 05 6spd. I try and be objective on my channel trying all of them. I've even owned (what was allegedly the worst) ford's 6.0 and 6.4 and had really good luck with them. I ran a 24 chevy last year (first one up the ike over any channel) a 24 ram diesel and now this one. I've had issues on all my ford SD trucks over the past 5 years, and zero issues with my f150s. I do know that's not everyone's experience with ford, as you mentioned. People still buy these ford's even being the recall leader. I've had tons of issues with my 24 ford and report on those. If I wad buying a half ton, I'd go f150 powerboost over any of the others. If I was buying HD gas, it would be a GM truck. And if, and only if a diesel again, I'd want a cummins in a chevy, but since they don't do that lol, I'd have to say duramax. I appreciate your feedback and sharing your experiences. Looked at GM HDs and like them but the prices are out of control... believe it or not was willing to give ford another try in a super duty even with A plan pricing I couldn't justify it.. I am a member on the ford truck forum and there are way to many problems with ford.. Most members on there say if they were to buy another gasser HD truck it would be a Ram.. Almost every tech that I have spoke to has said to buy a Ram HD gasser and these are chevy and Ford guys saying this.. I am a no frills truck guy..I want base as base can get.. There is way to much electronics in these truck and i dont need a tv as a radio or vibrating seats lol.. I am not brand loyal and have owned them all but always preferred ford trucks.. But no more. Even after watching many videos and yours included even with the distain for Ram.. I just bought a 2500 HD quad cab 6 ft bed in granite with the 6.4 on sale from 60k to 43k (cant get a half ton for that price ) and honestly I am really like everything about minus the fact it has carpet and push button 4 wheel drive. The fact that most techs i speak to says to by a Ram speaks volumes (i am a manager for a large tool manufacture so I speak to a lot) Hopefully it turns out to be a good truck as I am pretty burned out trying to find one..I will be doing a review of it on here after a couple weeks of owning it.. Needs a 2 inch leveling kit for front end, put on a black texas ranch hand front end guard with a 12,000 pound warn winch. Put a led bar on ranch hand

Why, it’s not needed. The turbo produces plenty of boost! Two the head bolts would not hold!

@@JakeScott-ke3shmost dealers will not take a deleted truck on a trade in. Eventually one will no longer be able to register a deleted truck.

@Supertramp01 I agree with you on many of your points. I try not to give off the vibe on being one brand fan. I grew up chevy and when ram blew the market up in 1994, I became an all out ram fan. I've owned mostly rams in my life, my best one being a 16 dually cummins, but I wish I still had my 05 6spd. I try and be objective on my channel trying all of them. I've even owned (what was allegedly the worst) ford's 6.0 and 6.4 and had really good luck with them. I ran a 24 chevy last year (first one up the ike over any channel) a 24 ram diesel and now this one. I've had issues on all my ford SD trucks over the past 5 years, and zero issues with my f150s. I do know that's not everyone's experience with ford, as you mentioned. People still buy these ford's even being the recall leader. I've had tons of issues with my 24 ford and report on those. If I wad buying a half ton, I'd go f150 powerboost over any of the others. If I was buying HD gas, it would be a GM truck. And if, and only if a diesel again, I'd want a cummins in a chevy, but since they don't do that lol, I'd have to say duramax. I appreciate your feedback and sharing your experiences. Looked at GM HDs and like them but the prices are out of control...
believe it or not was willing to give ford another try in a super duty even with A plan pricing I couldn't justify it..
I am a member on the ford truck forum and there are way to many problems with ford.. Most members on there say if they were to buy another gasser HD truck it would be a Ram.. Almost every tech that I have spoke to has said to buy a Ram HD gasser and these are chevy and Ford guys saying this..
I am a no frills truck guy..I want base as base can get.. There is way to much electronics in these truck and i dont need a tv as a radio or vibrating seats lol..
I am not brand loyal and have owned them all but always preferred ford trucks.. But no more. Even after watching many videos and yours included even with the distain for Ram.. I just bought a 2500 HD quad cab 6 ft bed in granite with the 6.4 on sale from 60k to 43k (cant get a half ton for that price ) and honestly I am really like everything about minus the fact it has carpet and push button 4 wheel drive. The fact that most techs i speak to says to by a Ram speaks volumes (i am a manager for a large tool manufacture so I speak to a lot) Hopefully it turns out to be a good truck as I am pretty burned out trying to find one..I will be doing a review of it on here after a couple weeks of owning it..
