  • The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S are automotive masterpieces that cater to distinct types of drivers, each offering a unique blend of performance, luxury, and design.
The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, with a base price of $244,650, is a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, 2-passenger coupe. It's a track-oriented vehicle, evident in its chassis design, suspension setup, and aerodynamics. It features a DOHC 24-valve flat-6 engine, producing 518 hp at 8500 rpm and 342 lb-ft of torque at 6300 rpm. This powertrain, combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, propels the GT3 RS from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of 184 mph. This car's focus on aerodynamics and handling makes it ideal for the track enthusiast who craves the thrill of high-speed cornering and acceleration.
On the other hand, the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S, starting at $232,050, is an all-wheel-drive, 2+2-passenger coupe. It's more aligned with everyday driving while still offering exhilarating performance. Powered by a twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve flat-6 engine, it delivers 640 hp at 6750 rpm and a massive 590 lb-ft of torque at 2400 rpm. The Turbo S uses an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in a breathtaking 2.2 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. The Turbo S is designed for those who desire a blend of luxurious comfort and astounding sports performance.
Both cars are technological marvels, but they serve different purposes. The GT3 RS is a precision tool for the track, offering a raw, unfiltered driving experience with emphasis on handling and aerodynamics. The Turbo S, while still incredibly fast, is more versatile, combining the comfort and luxury of a grand tourer with the performance of a sports car. It can serve as both a daily driver and a weekend warrior.
In summary, whether you're looking for a track-focused machine in the 911 GT3 RS or a high-performance, luxurious sports car in the 911 Turbo S, Porsche offers an exceptional choice for both. The decision between the two would depend on your lifestyle, driving preferences, and what you expect from your high-performance vehicle. The GT3 RS is a race car for the road, while the Turbo S is a luxurious, high-performance all-rounder.

I have a turbos for daily and street enthusiasm, but gt3rs is the only machine I want for the future. Man, the sound and the design of gt3rs just makes me emotional.

i can read sales brochures too. i thought you were going to make a performance comparison on a similar surface. little track... little grand touring ... instead you read the sales literature out loud through b roll.... weak sauce

i dont get it , turbo s is faster why you pay more just for looks , they should provide all wheel drive and switch to rwd on 911 gt3 rs that would change the game for porshe

Exactly I was thinking the same thing. I’ve always wanted a gt3 but now I’m a bit puzzled as to why I’ll want the slower car just for the looks.

Different cars on the track. Have driven both on track. Just like he said. the GT is a much better track car. It is lighter, better track suspension, but more abrupt day to day. Its a dilema that I am thinking about also. The TS is a better grand touring car with rediculous excelleration. Both about the same price sticker, but GT3's of the same year are demanding more money because of scarcity. Truth is if it was my everday driver I would buy a TS. if it was limited driver and a track car a GT. Best is to buy both!
