It is a super car to me, anything over 450-500 is super car

I feel like at 640hp, there’s no way it’s not a super car. Sure it’s not a V10 or V12 and not as exotic but it still pumps 640hp
I don't like to reply to my own comment it's often but I guess there's one thing more to add... where are you using 400 to 500 600 700 horsepower on public roads? I drive a fairly modest Audi and I run out of road getting on the freeway, or in corners or local streets pretty quickly in the mid-200s... If 450-500 isn't enough for you to smoke everyone in traffic or on your local roads, you might have some ego problems or skill issues, after 170-250 your passing just about everyone in a sporty or aggressive nature.

You can drive a turbo S on this exact track. He’s at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. Last I checked it was like $1300 to take one out with a professional driving instructor

The fact that the Turbo S AWD is legit for driver safety alone, this thing would be a menace to society if it was RWD.

I've been some turbo pulls, it's kinda not great, but it is...
I did the drifting at ATL with the Turbo S and did the same things Ted did. It took me a few tries as well before I got it as well. I wish the Turbo S had an option to enable the rear wheels only. That is one feature I feel is missing from the car. The Porsche experience is something every car nut should do. It really gave me an idea of what my Turbo S can do!

Thanks for sharing this. I was in a GT3 at PECLA and besides the facilities and cars what was really memorable were the instructors. Instead of shaming you for missing a countersteer at the drift zone or not quite getting close to the apex on the track, they gas you up and want you to push harder and have fun! :)

Honestly these 2 vids have been so much fun. Such a fun course, really nice & fun instructors, fantastic weather and 10/10 Porsches to play with.
Love this spec, honestly with this paint job I even kinda like the colour matched rear diffuser. To be fair, this spec but top down and I can't name a better three season daily for myself, maybe even 4 if I was willing to take proper care of it during winter and prep it accordingly.
My dream car - would take this over a Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, or Aston Martin..
honestly this motivated me to slide by the porsche center in atlanta. amazing review of the car and in depth look at how it would really feel to drive it on the daily with some fun included

This car is as fast as a supercar and as reliable as any premium German car. I can drive it flat-out on the German autobahn and that every day of the week. If I try doing it with my Ferrari F355, I will breakdown within the week. I prefer my Porsche 911 as a daily driver.

Awesome. I've already made plans to go experience something like this at Porsche Experience Centre Shanghai with my cousin. Still deciding whether I should go with the 718 + GT4RS package or the Turbo S.

I won't lie, I watched your last turbo S video where you went to cars and coffee like 10 times in one day so I'm glad you made another. That was on christmas day because I woke up from a dream about driving a turbo s and I had to go find some POV footage since I didn't have access to a turbo s lol.

@@TedwardDrives that's awesome, been a fan since the american needs unrestricted speed limits video as well as the how to avoid speeding tickets video, I subconsciously apply the information I learned in those videos every day while driving.
Went to PEC ATL for my 30th birthday back in 2021. Did the GT3/Turbo S package. Unfortunately the S was down for maintenance that day as was the skid plate so had to settle for the Carrera 4s.Otherwise loved the facility and would go back.
What frame rate was the GoPro footage filmed at?
I had the hardest time deciding between the turbo S and the RS. In the end I chose the RS. For the record it was 991.2
As much as I love mine, I'm seriously wondering about the new-new Vantage. Forget depreciation and "trading down", I just think it might be a more fun and emotional car.

@futuristic_car_channel It shouldn't. The engine is still there, the electric motor built into the transmission will only assist it.
Why would you want this car HEAVIER?
I have a 992 Turbo S. It is a remarkable achievement, by any standard. My only complaint is that it is so well refined that it comes off as sterile. My 812 Superfast is nothing like this, yet comes off as a bit unhinged, in a good way. The 911 is a perfect car, which is a bit underwhelming. I know, it sounds weird. I might flip this for a GT3 Touring.

Are you sure you had enough tire pressure? Seemed like the steering was a bit too tight.
These cars are serviced and maintained by Porsche at their North American headquarters....I'd be pretty shocked if they weren't checking tire pressure before sending people to drive them on the handling circuit

I was wondering,how much it cost to go to the one of these events in us.Ik when GT3 RS came out Porsche made an 2 day event at Spa wheee you could learn evrything about new GT3 and also drive any Porsche.All that fun was 15.000€(13+k$).So was this cheaper or the same price?
